The kittens did not know what to think of their parents' play; the kits, for all the knowledge they had could not think of an answer or a why either. It was all baffling to the cubs, and to top it off Maya had saw similar play and was fascinated by it. \"Why did they like it so much for the boy's wand, member, whatever to be inside the girl\" was the thought racing through their minds as they were getting ready for bed.\n\n\"I think,\" Charlie blushed softly as he wiggled into his two-piece pajamas, \"It must have some purpose for boys and girls. It made Melanie think about the biology books she had been reading and with her class time in sex education, it started to click for her. As with last night, Maya and Kyle were up first as Jessie got them out of their soggy diapers, tossing them into the pail as she cleaned the two up. As they headed on down, they found the three kittens waiting for them and ready to do.\n\n\"Um, Auntie Rosalyn,\" Maya blushed, \"C-can I come over here everyday to play? Jessie purred playfully as she pawed his padded front with a smirk.\n\n\"So, did you kiss her?\" Jessie mewed with a mischievous smirk.\n\n\"N-no,\" Kyle shook his head, \"I saved the kissing just for you.\" Jessie closed the door and purred happily as she gently pushed Kyle onto his bed. He was slowly getting used to all this amorous activity he was sharing with Jessie and Maya. Even so he still wanted them to take the lead; he wasn't quite ready to fully embrace it was Jessie stroked his fur and gazed down at him as they were about to start playing.\n\nCharlie and Melanie had a relatively quiet afternoon, just enjoying a good day of cuddles and affection. Their evening was also pretty uneventful as well since they were enjoying another night of movies and cuddling with their dad. It also means I will be leaving work before you wake up so I will leave you two undisturbed.\"\n\n\"Okay daddy,\" Charlie and Melanie nodded together, \"We can help with the house again.\" Kendrick smiled as the two agreed to be helpful kits. He gave them a warm hug and scooted them off to bed.\n\n\"That's my kits,\" their dad smiled as he make sure each kit hopped into bed, then closed the doors, \"Sleep well kiddos, love you.\"\n\n\"Love you too, daddy,\" The kits answered sleepily as they started to drift off to sleep. Both kits were anticipating a long summer together and now with a very busy father, they could get away with quite a bit. Neither kit could sleep too well since they were so excited so when the morning light met their rooms, they were both jumping right out of bed and giving each other big hugs.\n\n\"I know we won't see as much of daddy than we do usually,\" Melanie blushed, \"But I like this...we'll have more time for ourselves.\"\n\n\"But first,\" Charlie kissed Melanie's cheek, \"I think we have some soggy diapers to change.\" Melanie wrinkled her nose and flicked Charlie's ear.\n\n\"Judging by things, I think we might be messy kits, too,\" Melanie blushed as she climbed up on Charlie's changing table, letting her brother gently change her and get her into a nice and clean pair of princess diapers. Melanie quickly followed up and gave her brother a paw and fitted him into a matching pair as well. The two finished up by stripping their tops off and giving each other a big hug.\n\n\"Thankie for the change, Mel,\" Charlie cooed and smiled, \"Oh, guess what I hid from daddy?\"\n\n\"What did you do now?\" Melanie teased.\n\n\"Toaster pastries!\" Charlie giggled and slurped Melanie's cheek, \"Since dad doesn't let us get those...I got a little help from Julie to get a few boxes.\" Melanie giggled and gave Charlie an impromptu noogie, watching him squirm and giggle loudly.\n\n\"Silly Kit,\" Melanie smiled, \"Guess that means I'll be getting our sippy cups out then. Let's watch our cartoons while we eat then.\" The two kits nodded as Melanie worked on their milk as Charlie warmed up three pastries for each of them. Once their quick breakfast was ready, they scampered to their playroom, plopping down next to each other as they shared the pastries and milk. The two giggled and sang all the silly songs on the preschool cartoons as they munched on breakfast. As silly as it was, they enjoyed the nostalgia of being baby kits watching those shows at day care, now without having to worry about being dressed or dealing with pesky naptimes and the other kiddos. Once they finished munching on their breakfast, the two licked each other's muzzles up nice and neat, giggling and smiling at each other as they cuddled in. In a way intelligence is a burden; it is said that the simple-minded folks in the world are the happiest since they are not saddled with knowledge. The idea of taking their minds to a simpler time was a boon for the two as it was a vacation for their minds. No overthinking even the simple things, no worrying about the ills of the world, just the needs and desires of two preschoolers or toddlers. They were not feeling as frisky as they were yesterday so their morning was much more innocent, just enjoying their cartoons and their cuddles. The two kits were blushing deep red when they finished, hopping back down and started to look for something to play with. She gently kissed Charlie's cheek and smiled as she showed him the cash their dad left for them to use in case they wanted to order something to be delivered.\n\n\"It's Friday, so sure Kit,\" Melanie nodded as she stuffed the phone number in the waistband of his diaper, \"You'll be doing the pick-up though so get your clothes on, silly.\" Charlie blushed and whined as he went over to the computer and worked on the order. Meanwhile, Melanie was starting to pick out some movies they both liked that were also heavy on the romance and the love. If it was going to be another Friday night together, they may as well make it lovey-dovey. Melanie blushed as she found one film they thought they lost; it was one of the movies they had loved as baby kits and it had very special meaning to the two. Adding that to the list of movies she wanted to watch she gazed softly up at Charlie, who was just finishing up their order for pizzas. But before he went to get dressed, he found their dad left a message for the two kits.\n\n\"Kiddos,\n\nLooks like I might be staying over night at a project site. I'm real sorry you two, this is very last minute and I don't think I'll be back until tomorrow afternoon. So I have called Julie to come over Saturday morning to check on you two. I hope he's alright with it as he does get a little homesick,\" Melanie giggled softly, \"I wonder who's really the parent here since he gets more homesick than us.\" It was a very odd thing indeed to see a dad who as homesick more than his own kits. Charlie and Melanie first found out when they were about six and their dad took them with him to the coast. It was just a few days at the beach but even after twelve hours, Kendrick was almost wanting to go back home already. It took Charlie and Melanie a few tries to make sure they got to enjoy the entire weekend on the beach. Even then Kendrick still longed to be back home. Unfortunately their dad took a job that required enough business travel that he'd be overnight at a project site. How did Kendrick handle all his feelings of being homesick while at work? The kits were both concerned and amused by it as Charlie went to get a quick tee and shorts on, not concerned if they coordinated or not; either he or Melanie was going to toss those clothes right off after the pizza was paid for. When Melanie had all the movies picked out for the night, she went to prepare two big glasses full of soda to go with their meal. Just in time as Charlie heard the doorbell ring and quickly picked up the pizza money. Although he was fully dressed as he made it to the door, the panther delivery boy was a little embarrassed that a kit was at the door to take the pizza. Somehow, Charlie picked out some of his cutest play clothes and they had cubby designs so it was a big shock to the delivery boy as Charlie paid for the pizza and took it in with him. He carefully carried the box over to the playroom, wondering if Melanie was already ready and waiting for him. To his surprise though, he bumped into Melanie just as she was coming back with the sodas. To her relief, her bumping into Charlie didn't make any kind of mess.\n\n\"Oh, sorry Mel,\" Charlie blushed softly as he allowed Melanie in, then closed the door behind him.\n\n\"It's okay Kit,\" Melanie murrmurred softly as she sat their drinks on the blanket, \"You're just in time; the first movie is ready to play.\" Melanie patted the spot next to her for Charlie to sit down. He happily sat criss-cross applesauce-styled (because you can't sit Indian style as he found out). Melanie giggled as he sat like that; that was how they were taught to sit in school if they were on the floor. Melanie gently leaned into Charlie as she turned the movie on and opened the pizza box. Very quickly, the two started to eat the first slices of pizza; even if they were acting all grown-up, they were still kits at the end of the day. Patience for food was not one of their strong suits as they dug in and munched on the pizza as the movie started. "Erica had agreed to let you two call Julie if you need her help for anything," Kendrick smiled as he started to head for the door.

"We will," the kits answered as they slowly got out of their beds.

"Alright kiddos," Kendrick smiled, "Love you two.  Be good now and I'll be home this evening."  The two kits nodded as their dad left for work, the two still groggy despite stretching out. Charlie was actually the first out of bed, deciding to take care of the trash right away, he went and emptied out the two diaper pails in their nurseries, then headed over to clean out the other trash bags and then finally loading the dumpster and rolled it out.  By the time Charlie came in, Melanie was finally out of bed and looking around for Charlie, glomping him right away and smiling softly at her brother.

"I-I like seed," Charlie blushed, "though pee still sounds fun."  Melanie nodded and finished up her cereal.  "But where did you find the other terms?"

"Care to keep a secret?" Melanie gazed at Charlie.

"I can," Charlie nodded.

"I've...been using incognito browsing and going through a proxy to find some stories about furs like us; more grown-up furs who are still in diapers."  Charlie blushed hard.

"Just like Sampson?" Charlie asked shyly.

"Just like him," Melanie nodded as she picked up their bowls and set them in the dishwasher, "I've read some of those saucy stories and...I felt naughty when I did but at the same time, I started to imagine someone from real life when I did."  Charlie blushed hard as Melanie squeezed his paw.

"I don't think I have to ask, do I?"

"It's crazy when I read those stories, I always saw you when it got to those naughty passages," Melanie blushed furiously as she held Charlie's paw, "But it made me think that if me thinking of you was just my grown-up instincts.  But you started to play with me anyway."

"I'm not that bored, Mel," Charlie blushed a bit, "I didn't even know about those stories."

"Maybe that's why I want you to court me," Melanie cooed shyly, "And to be honest, I'm still surprised when you licked and played with me like that not knowing of that stuff.  Y-you didn't do it just for instinct though."  Charlie just didn't know how to answer Melanie at that moment.  She was suggesting that Charlie was giving her the lick jobs and paw jobs for another reason.

"I've started to 'grow up,' too," Charlie hugged Melanie, "I mean puberty of course."

"I know Kit," Melanie blushed, "I can smell you when you're feeling playful...and you're trying to figure yourself out."

"Mel," Charlie cooed softly, "Then promise me this, if or when we decide to go farther, it'd be because we are both ready."  Melanie nodded and smiled softly, giving Charlie a kiss on the lips.

"I promise, Kit," Melanie smiled, "I'm glad you want to make sure we are both ready and willing like a good partner."  Charlie blushed as the two went to their playroom and cuddled up on the love-seat in only their diapers, "Though, I don't mind if you want to feel my chest as we cuddle."

Kyle, Maya and Jessie were all outside helping their folks with the porch all morning long, making sure their home was ready for summer.  Of course Sampson was a fussy kitten and stubbed his toes a few times so the kittens had to take over some of the duties as Rosalyn and Helena had to soothe the big kitten.  When lunch came around, Helena brought them out some tasty ham, cheese, cucumber and mayonnaise sandwiches.  Since they were finished with the deck, the grown-up allowed the three kittens to play.  After grabbing the sandwiches, the three kittens all met up in Jessie's room where they sat right on the floor and started to munch on their sandwiches.  Maya was a little sad though, her mom and here were returning to their home that afternoon.  Maya really wanted to visit with Kyle and Jessie more as they were her favorite kittens to play with so she decided that Kyle deserved a special good-bye.  As they ate the two girls leaned in on Kyle as he blushed softly.

"Kyle, I think someone is going to miss you a lot," Jessie blushed, "I know I'm jealous of her but...make her day, please?  I think she wants to make your day, too."  Kyle blushed hard as Maya purred in surprise.

"Y-you sure you're fine with me and Maya being this close?" Kyle blushed hard.

"You care about both of us, Kyle," Jessie blushed, "I think Charlie and Maya figured out that you might want an open thing with so I might give that chance."  Kyle nodded softly as Maya clung to Kyle tenderly.  He was so surprised that Jessie changed her attitude so quickly; she was about as stubborn as he was even if she didn't admit it to anyone.  So why was she letting him explore with Maya for?  He shrugged a bit as he reached over to kiss Jessie's cheek.

"Jessie," Kyle cooed softly, "After Maya and I play...I wanna do the same with you, and something special too."  Jessie and Maya blushed as Kyle made that promise to Jessie.  Kyle really didn't want to leave his sister out of his affections, plus he really wanted to show Jessie how he was feeling about her after the previous evening.  Maya smiled softly as she swung her arms around Kyle and nuzzled and kissed him.  Kyle petted her diapered bottom and purred softly as he leaned into her, their tails intertwining as they petted and licked each other.

"Kyle," Maya cooed softly, "Maybe I can ask mom if I can come over here all summer."  Kyle blushed and nodded softly.

"I-I'd like that," Kyle blushed as did Jessie, with Kyle leaning in and gently kissing Maya on the cheek.  Jessie was still jealous but now a little more understanding of Kyle's feelings as she gently guided them to go over to Kyle's room.

"Maya, would you and Kyle like some privacy in his room?" Jessie mewed softly as Maya got up, nodding slowly as she led Kyle over there.  Jessie was nervous as she closed the door for the two, going over to her room to play with some plushies.  Meanwhile, Maya laid herself back in Kyle's bed with a soft purr, swaying her tail at him.  She could tell Kyle was nervous with being alone with her; after all, Jessie did catch the two having a big kiss and playtime in there.  But slowly, Kyle came over and laid next to her, Maya's paw finding its way to his.

"Maya?  Can I ask you a question?" Kyle asked shyly.

"What's on your mind, cutie?"

"Well, why are you an only child if you saw your mom and dad play like you did?" Kyle blushed, not knowing where that question came from.  Maya blushed and bit her lip as she thought about that question.

"To be honest," Maya mewed softly, "When I did see mom and dad play, I don't think mom's heart was in it.  Dad enjoyed it but I don't think she did as much.  I think it's not fun when only one wants to do it and the other needs it."  Maya's pawdigits fidgeted for a bit.  "I think...something is missing from mom's life and I don't think she knows why."

"Sounds like my dad and what happened to him after Naomi died," Kyle nodded softly, "But enough about the past...right now it is just us."  Maya nodded and smiled as she pulled Kyle over her, gazing up at him with he grey eyes.

"You're right Kyle," Maya nodded and purred happily as she felt Kyle starting to wet his diaper, pressing him into her so she could feel him pee. "It's okay Kyle," Maya smiled as she licked his nose, "Maybe you need both of us."  Kyle blushed and nodded as the two cuddled tight to each other, Jessie peeking in to see if they were finished.

"Have a good time?" Jessie mewed softly and nervously, "Sounded like you did."  Kyle and Maya nodded and shyly smiled.

"Jessie," Maya purred, "How much longer till I have to leave?"

"About thirty-five minutes," Jessie nodded, "Let's get you two changed...and me too."

"I really loved sleeping with you last night," Maya whispered, "Jessie told me she did too.  Just hope we can do that again."  Kyle blushed hard as Jessie shooed them over to her room so they could give each other changes.  As with last night, Maya and Kyle were up first as Jessie got them out of their soggy diapers, tossing them into the pail as she cleaned the two up.  Maya gazed at Kyle as she held his paw, wondering what he was thinking about as Jessie tended to the two with lotion and powder and matching diapers out of her changing table.

"Jessie," Kyle cooed softly, "Thankie for the change."  Jessie smiled softly as they swapped places, Kyle carefully undiapering her and getting her nice and cleaned.  Maya purred softly as she watched Kyle give Jessie extra special attention as he lotioned her down.  Jessie blushed as her brother gently message the lotion and purred, winking at Kyle to remind him what he promised her.  He then powdered her down and finished by diapering her snugly and kissing her padding.

"And thankie for the change, too, Kyle," Jessie purred as the three got up and looked around for their folks.  Just like the day school ended, it was a game of hide and seek, though the parents were not aware that they were being searched for.  Just before they made it to the living room though, the three suddenly stopped.  As they looked up they saw what looked like Sampson and Helena alone. As they came up closer, they noticed that Helena only had her top and underwear on and Sampson was only in his diaper and they were, to the kitten's shock, really close and kissing each other.  In fact, they saw that Helena was rubbing herself to Sampson was Maya was a little bit ago with Kyle.  Why would her mom play like that with uncle?  It was strange but at the same time, they could tell that she was enjoying their moment together so they left them be as Sampson gave Helena a deep kiss.

"T-this is weird," Sampson blushed and purred, "That I'm kissing you like this and you're rubbing me...but I like it."

"Me, too, Sampsie," Helena purred softly, "It's kind of fun to play with a kitten like you...but why do I like doing this with you more than me spending time with my mate?"

"I don't know, Helena," Sampson mewed softly, "Something going on with him?"  Helena sighed sadly as she clung to Sampson, petting his bottom as she leaned in.

"M-maybe," Helena mused sadly, "Just doesn't feel the same anymore with him...he's changed too."

"Have you talked with him?"

"I'm scared to," Helena cooed sadly as she kissed him, "I'm afraid he'd go ballistic...he's been distant, even when we mated, it seemed one-way."

"Please talk to him," Sampson cooed, "I don't want you hurt like I was when I lost Naomi."  Helena's eyes widened when he shared his concerned; it felt very fatherly to her that Sampson was looking out for her concerns.  It just made her feel fond of Sampson as she softly kissed his lips and petted his sides.  It just felt so right to seek out Sampson for advice - she just wished she could stay there but she had to go home.  It was a very conflicted feeling Helena was experiencing and in that conflict, she wanted to make a strange request.

"Sampsie," Helena cooed softly, "I wanna be your little girl, you feel so much like my daddy right now...I think I will need to be leaning on you a lot."

"You sure?" Sampson tilted his head and puzzlement, "I've been going through a lot, too."

"Maybe we need to face it together," Helena cooed softly as she nuzzled him.

"If you need me, please call," Sampson nuzzled her cheek as he helped her back into jeans.

"I will, daddy," Helena blushed, "It almost feels like you are my father more than dad is...it's weird but I get that feeling..."  Her voice trailed off as Rosalyn finally came back out to see Helena off.  She didn't know why her mate and Helena were so close together but she could also tell that something was bugging Helena as well.  As they headed on down, they found the three kittens waiting for them and ready to do.

"Um, Auntie Rosalyn," Maya blushed, "C-can I come over here everyday to play?  I really enjoyed coming here to be with my favorite cousins."  The three grown-ups blushed softly, but they nodded softly in agreement.

"I think we can work something out," Rosalyn smiled as she petted Maya's head, "How about it Helena?"

"Sure, I think it would be good for the three to be playing together," Helena nodded as she tugged on Sampson's cheek, "Well, I really hate having to go but we need to head home."  Sampson and Rosalyn nodded as Helena took her little girl home with her, then Rosalyn correcting her mate for being sneaky with Helena.

"Where do you think you're going, Sampsie?" Rosalyn fussed with her mate, "I think someone needs a time out so he knows that little kittens can't sneak away!"  Sampson whined as Rosalyn tugged him by his ear to his room.  Besides, he was returning to work the next day so she had to make sure he was well-behaved.  With their parents away, Jessie wanted to make sure Kyle was ready to play.  Kyle winked at Jessie as he led her to his room, giving her bottom soft strokes with his paw.  Jessie purred playfully as she pawed his padded front with a smirk.

"So, did you kiss her?" Jessie mewed with a mischievous smirk.

"N-no," Kyle shook his head, "I saved the kissing just for you."  Jessie closed the door and purred happily as she gently pushed Kyle onto his bed.  He was slowly getting used to all this amorous activity he was sharing with Jessie and Maya.  Even so he still wanted them to take the lead; he wasn't quite ready to fully embrace it was Jessie stroked his fur and gazed down at him as they were about to start playing.

Charlie and Melanie had a relatively quiet afternoon, just enjoying a good day of cuddles and affection.  Their evening was also pretty uneventful as well since they were enjoying another night of movies and cuddling with their dad.  However, as they were ready to go to bed, their dad had to tell them a few things.  He was becoming a very busy fox so he had to make sure they were ready for some more responsibility in taking care of their home.

"Kiddos," Kendrick smiled as he hugged his kits, "It looks like I will be very busy this summer so I will probably be home late and at work early.  Are you two okay with that?  It also means I will be leaving work before you wake up so I will leave you two undisturbed."

"Okay daddy," Charlie and Melanie nodded together, "We can help with the house again."  Kendrick smiled as the two agreed to be helpful kits.  He gave them a warm hug and scooted them off to bed.

"That's my kits," their dad smiled as he make sure each kit hopped into bed, then closed the doors, "Sleep well kiddos, love you."

"Love you too, daddy," The kits answered sleepily as they started to drift off to sleep.  Both kits were anticipating a long summer together and now with a very busy father, they could get away with quite a bit. Neither kit could sleep too well since they were so excited so when the morning light met their rooms, they were both jumping right out of bed and giving each other big hugs.

"I know we won't see as much of daddy than we do usually," Melanie blushed, "But I like this...we'll have more time for ourselves."

"But first," Charlie kissed Melanie's cheek, "I think we have some soggy diapers to change."  Melanie wrinkled her nose and flicked Charlie's ear.

"Judging by things, I think we might be messy kits, too," Melanie blushed as she climbed up on Charlie's changing table, letting her brother gently change her and get her into a nice and clean pair of princess diapers.  Melanie quickly followed up and gave her brother a paw and fitted him into a matching pair as well.  The two finished up by stripping their tops off and giving each other a big hug.

"Thankie for the change, Mel," Charlie cooed and smiled, "Oh, guess what I hid from daddy?"

"What did you do now?" Melanie teased.

"Toaster pastries!" Charlie giggled and slurped Melanie's cheek, "Since dad doesn't let us get those...I got a little help from Julie to get a few boxes."  Melanie giggled and gave Charlie an impromptu noogie, watching him squirm and giggle loudly.

"Silly Kit," Melanie smiled, "Guess that means I'll be getting our sippy cups out then.  Let's watch our cartoons while we eat then."  The two kits nodded as Melanie worked on their milk as Charlie warmed up three pastries for each of them.  Once their quick breakfast was ready, they scampered to their playroom, plopping down next to each other as they shared the pastries and milk.  The two giggled and sang all the silly songs on the preschool cartoons as they munched on breakfast.  As silly as it was, they enjoyed the nostalgia of being baby kits watching those shows at day care, now without having to worry about being dressed or dealing with pesky naptimes and the other kiddos.  Once they finished munching on their breakfast, the two licked each other's muzzles up nice and neat, giggling and smiling at each other as they cuddled in.  Melanie softly licked Charlie's ears as they cuddled in, wrapping her arms around Charlie.

"Mel," Charlie whispered softly, "I like this. Just me and you acting like baby kits."

"I do too, Kit," Melanie cooed and smiled, "No need to whisper, silly.  But I really enjoy this freedom of being as little as we want.  It's a nice vacation from our busy minds."  In a way, Melanie did have a point.  Those two were extremely intelligent for their age so their minds were always running full-tilt most of the time.  In a way intelligence is a burden; it is said that the simple-minded folks in the world are the happiest since they are not saddled with knowledge.  The idea of taking their minds to a simpler time was a boon for the two as it was a vacation for their minds.  No overthinking even the simple things, no worrying about the ills of the world, just the needs and desires of two preschoolers or toddlers.  Melanie cooed as Charlie petted her hair, licking her cheek as he did.  They were not feeling as frisky as they were yesterday so their morning was much more innocent, just enjoying their cartoons and their cuddles.  Melanie liked it too as she hugged Charlie; her mind wasn't on the grown-up knowledge they had learned over the past several days.  Regardless, the two playfully cuddled and watched their cartoons till it was lunch time.  Still feeling playful, they decided to make some PB and J sandwiches and refill their sippy cups but this time, watch some other cute cartoons they liked on one of the other channels.  As they once again finished their food like messy kits, they licked each others' muzzles up.  But whereas the morning cleaning was innocent, Melanie's tongue brushed up to Charlie's by accident.  Feeling her brother's lick again, she gasped and opened her mouth for him, getting him to clean up inside her mouth.  However, as they did, their muzzle cleaning turned into a loving make out session.  The two gasped and blushed as they felt their innocent mindset disappear in a flash as their tongues crossed each other, their paws stroking each other's diapered bottoms as they panted and gasped.  The felt themselves pull in closer as they kept kissing for another five minutes, breaking the kiss as they sheepishly giggled at each other, gazing into each other's eyes.

"Mel, what just happened?" Charlie blushed, "It was cute and sweet but it suddenly turned into a deep kiss."

"I don't know Kit," Melanie blushed as she hugged Charlie tight, checking his diaper, "It just happened while we weren't thinking about it."

"Let's reset, okay?" Charlie asked shyly as he checked on Melanie, too, "Once we change we let ourselves go innocent again."  Melanie nodded and smiled as she ushered her brother to the changing table.  While they had no problem that morning being good kits, they found it harder that afternoon to change each other.  They had to fight their want to play with each other as they shyly and gently cleaned and lotioned each other, then diapered each other again.  The two kits were blushing deep red when they finished, hopping back down and started to look for something to play with.  Thankfully Melanie kept one of their favorite board games in her room so they went out together to start playing together in the playroom.  The two enjoyed their little game, but they were struggling to keep an innocent mindset as they did.  Charlie and Melanie all of a sudden wanted to be big foxes but just didn't feel ready to switch their frame of mind.

"K-kit," Melanie blushed softly, "I don't know how long we can be little when I have big girl thoughts in my mind."  Melanie blushed softly as she finished cleaning up the playroom floor.

"Me neither, Mel," Charlie blushed furiously as he fixed up the blankets they had laid on the floor, "How bout a romantic movie night like grown-ups do then?  After we had some pizza of course."  Melanie blushed, but nodded.  That idea of a pizza and a movie sounded very appealing to Melanie now that she was wanting to feel more grown-up.  She gently kissed Charlie's cheek and smiled as she showed him the cash their dad left for them to use in case they wanted to order something to be delivered.

"It's Friday, so sure Kit," Melanie nodded as she stuffed the phone number in the waistband of his diaper, "You'll be doing the pick-up though so get your clothes on, silly."  Charlie blushed and whined as he went over to the computer and worked on the order.  Meanwhile, Melanie was starting to pick out some movies they both liked that were also heavy on the romance and the love.  If it was going to be another Friday night together, they may as well make it lovey-dovey.  Melanie blushed as she found one film they thought they lost; it was one of the movies they had loved as baby kits and it had very special meaning to the two.  Adding that to the list of movies she wanted to watch she gazed softly up at Charlie, who was just finishing up their order for pizzas. But before he went to get dressed, he found their dad left a message for the two kits.

"Kiddos,

Looks like I might be staying over night at a project site. I'm real sorry you two, this is very last minute and I don't think I'll be back until tomorrow afternoon.  So I have called Julie to come over Saturday morning to check on you two.  Be good and be safe.

"Looks like dad is gonna be gone tonight and Miss Julie will be coming to check in on us tomorrow morning," Charlie told Melanie.

"Really?  I hope he's alright with it as he does get a little homesick," Melanie giggled softly, "I wonder who's really the parent here since he gets more homesick than us."  It was a very odd thing indeed to see a dad who as homesick more than his own kits.  Charlie and Melanie first found out when they were about six and their dad took them with him to the coast.  It was just a few days at the beach but even after twelve hours, Kendrick was almost wanting to go back home already.  It took Charlie and Melanie a few tries to make sure they got to enjoy the entire weekend on the beach.  Even then Kendrick still longed to be back home.  Unfortunately their dad took a job that required enough business travel that he'd be overnight at a project site.  How did Kendrick handle all his feelings of being homesick while at work?  The kits were both concerned and amused by it as Charlie went to get a quick tee and shorts on, not concerned if they coordinated or not; either he or Melanie was going to toss those clothes right off after the pizza was paid for.  When Melanie had all the movies picked out for the night, she went to prepare two big glasses full of soda to go with their meal.  Just in time as Charlie heard the doorbell ring and quickly picked up the pizza money.  Although he was fully dressed as he made it to the door, the panther delivery boy was a little embarrassed that a kit was at the door to take the pizza.  Somehow, Charlie picked out some of his cutest play clothes and they had cubby designs so it was a big shock to the delivery boy as Charlie paid for the pizza and took it in with him.  He carefully carried the box over to the playroom, wondering if Melanie was already ready and waiting for him.  To his surprise though, he bumped into Melanie just as she was coming back with the sodas.  To her relief, her bumping into Charlie didn't make any kind of mess.

"Oh, sorry Mel," Charlie blushed softly as he allowed Melanie in, then closed the door behind him.

"It's okay Kit," Melanie murrmurred softly as she sat their drinks on the blanket, "You're just in time; the first movie is ready to play."  Melanie patted the spot next to her for Charlie to sit down.  He happily sat criss-cross applesauce-styled (because you can't sit Indian style as he found out).  Melanie giggled as he sat like that; that was how they were taught to sit in school if they were on the floor.  Melanie gently leaned into Charlie as she turned the movie on and opened the pizza box.  Very quickly, the two started to eat the first slices of pizza; even if they were acting all grown-up, they were still kits at the end of the day.  Patience for food was not one of their strong suits as they dug in and munched on the pizza as the movie started.  Melanie smiled at Charlie as they toasted each other a few times with random, silly things to celebrate the end of school and the start of summer.  It was barely thirty minutes into the movie when the kits completely finished off the pizza with no leftovers.  Seeing the mess they made, they decided to lick each other's muzzle clean.  This time they at least made sure their muzzles were cleaned up before they did anything else.  However, when they finished, Melanie's brown eyes meet Charlie's green eyes.  The two gasped in surprise as their eyes were telling them many things.  "What are we," "What's on your mind, "Are we only doing this on instinct?" were just a few of the thoughts and questions they saw in each others eyes.  Their heartbeats quickened as they did, their muzzles meeting, not to clean each other up but to seal their meal with a kiss.  Their whiskers brushed to each other as they kept gazing, their paws wrapping around each other as their lips met.  Their breathing became synchronized as they held each other close.  A few minutes later, the two were parting their lips open again, embracing each other as they started to feel each other's tongues again.  Their slithering pink muscles ran up against each other as they gasped and panted, holding each othe close so their tongues had full access to each other.  A few more minutes in and they were still making out, Charlie's paw made it down to the small of Melanie's back and started to stroke her back tenderly as Melanie hid a smirk as she tugged the clothes off Charlie forgot to remove, minding not to break the kiss till they wanted it to end.  About 10 minutes later, Melanie was finally able to undress Charlie and hold the frenching together, stroking his back and murring tenderly.  It was about the climax of the movie when they finally broke the kiss, the two panting and gasping happily as they gazed at each other, clinging tight to one another.

"M-Mel," Charlie panted, "I wonder; would you like to kiss me like that forever?"  Melanie blushed furiously as she nuzzled Charlie's whiskers, smiling softly.

"You bet I would, Kit," Melanie cooed softly, "I am surprised that I would say it but with you, it feels right."  The two nuzzled and licked each other fondly as they petted each other.  The first movie was finishing up as Melanie decided to do another diaper check.  Sure enough, most of the soda from supper had already went through the system and she had a very soggy brother on her paws.  Charlie did the same thing and gave Melanie a warm smile, he knew he'd have to give her a paw, too.  The two simply nodded as they went over to Melanie's bedroom and helped each other up on the table.  However, Melanie had a different idea in mind.  Since they have always been in diapers, they never been able to lay around in the nude.  Since dad wasn't around and they just used their diapers, she thought it wouldn't hurt that if they could be naked together.  It was very tantalizing to feel and hold her brother like that as she undid his diaper.

"I'd like that idea," Charlie answered sheepishly, "So, what's the movie?"

"Don't worry about lotion or powder right now, Kit," Melanie cooed, "Naked also means no stuff on us either. As for the movie, I thought we lost this one - it's a very special movie we both loved deeply.  I found it and I want you to watch it with me."

"You mean...the movie that has our knight kit and the princess kit?" Charlie cooed softly as they finished cleaning each other up.

"That's the one," Melanie nodded and helped Charlie on down, "Up on the love-seat, Kit.  You go on top of me."  Charlie blushed; he had laid on top of Melanie quite a bit but never naked before.  This was oddly exciting but at the same time, was very innocent since they were both kits (and trying to be in that mindset).  Melanie slowly toddled over to the love-seat just as the movie turned on.  Charlie then followed and shyly laid on top of Melanie, trying not to excite or arouse her.  He sighed happily as he did lay down, nothing was between the two now as the movie started.  Melanie felt a little awkward, too, but she felt very relaxed as Charlie laid on her.  The two petted each other fondly as they cuddled in as the opening credits rolled.  Melanie cooed and kissed Charlie's nose as she gazed at her brother; she didn't know why they never laid like this before it was so warm and fuzzy.  She loved it; she loved the opportunity to lay with her brother like this.  Charlie reached down to softly kiss Melanie on the lips as they laid together, murring softly.

"This is a wonderful idea, Mel," Charlie cooed softly as he kissed her again, petting her sides as the two nuzzled each other.  As the movie went on though, Melanie started to feel a little awkward with Charlie laying on her.  Something was pressing against her tummy that felt like it was wiggling out.  She didn't know what but she didn't want to disturb her brother.  She needed to be discreet about he request.

"You're right, Kit," Melanie cooed and licked Charlie's fur, "We promised ourselves plenty to court but, I'm not afraid to at least say this.  Kit, are we ready to be lovers?"  Charlie blushed deep red as she asked him.  It was a big leap for both of them if they were ready, it was a very big responsibility too; they couldn't be open about it and at the same time they needed to be careful lest other unintended consequences happened from their amorous activity.  A promise had to be made between the two and Charlie was ready to make one with Melanie.

"Mel," Charlie whispered softly, "Then we need to promise to keep this to ourselves for now.  To be careful that we don't end up making a kit unless we are ready and to take responsibility for all we do."

"Kit," Melanie blushed as she thought, "I-I think you're right, I think that's a good promise to make and if so?"

"I think we are ready," Charlie gazed into Melanie's eyes, "Melanie, will you be my lover?"

"Yes!" Melanie cried happily, "I want to be your lover; to be yours.  I love you, Kit."  The two cuddled into each other for the rest of the movie.  By the time it was over, it was already bedtime for the two.  Usually this was where the adventure ended.  However, Melanie was giving Charlie a sad look - she wished so much they didn't have to part and be in separate nurseries.  She wished so much the world would be more accepting of their young love as she was fully aware they were in territory that could get them in trouble.  Even then, she wanted to be as close to Charlie as she could.  All the years between their birth and now was a build up to this moment, where they lost themselves in each other and gave of themselves to be lovers.  To end this now, she thought, would spoil the culmination of events.

"Mel, w-would you like to sleep with me tonight?" Charlie asked shyly as he went to his nursery door, "And as often as we can this summer?"

"You mean it?" Melanie cooed happily as she turned off all the equipment and cleaned up the playroom, then scampered right into Charlie's arms.

"I mean it, Mel," Charlie cooed softly as he kissed her.  No more separate bedrooms while we can get nights like this."

"Yes Kit!"
