At first, they would grumble together about their humiliating loss, but as time and bitterness passed, they began discussing more personal topics.\n\nGradually, they grew closer and closer, until they considered each other best friends. However, one day, they both realized that they were more than that. They were sitting and chatting like they had been doing for weeks now, and all was normal. But suddenly, just as Gigan was making a snarky comment, Megalon took his face in his drill appendages and kissed him. The cyborg kaiju was completely surprised, but it wasn't long before he kissed back. When they broke away, Megalon confessed that he had developed strong romantic feelings for Gigan, and Gigan admitted that he felt the same way before they kissed again, more certain and passionate than before.\n\nAt first, they were hesitant to tell their people about their love, so for the next few weeks they kept it a secret. Eventually, though, they felt they could no longer hide it, so they revealed to their people that they were together. The Seatopians, Megalon's people, were surprisingly accepting and supportive of their god. Gigan was very miserable, imprisoned by his own people, away from his boyfriend. The cyborg kaiju overheard one day, to his horror, that he had been sentenced to death the following day. Poor Gigan was scared and desperate and he missed Megalon badly, but although it took him a long time, he finally realized that while the Nebulans had cut him off from contacting Earth, they had not done the same with space.\n\nHe managed to reach King Ghidorah, who agreed to cause a distraction that would buy him time to escape. The next day, not long before Gigan's scheduled execution, Ghidorah attacked then Nebulans, and with the aliens focused on the space dragon, Gigan was able to escape their clutches unnoticed, and hurried to Earth.\n\nHe landed on the outskirts of Japan, which he remembered wasn't far from the entrance to Seatopia. He hoped Megalon was nearby; he was too scared to stay out under the sky, terrified that the Nebulans would find him. But luckily, he didn't need to wait long.\n\nA huge drill pushed up from the ground just a few feet to his right, and Megalon emerged onto the surface. Megalon turned and leaned over Gigan, thrusting faster and harder than before. Gigan arched his hips and wrapped his legs around Megalon's waist, thrusting with him. "I love you.....I love you.....!" was the only thing he could cry out.
Megalon was breathless as he returned, "I...hah...I love you, too...Gigan!"
With one more hard thrust, Megalon poured his seed into Gigan, both of them moaning their loudest. They took a few minutes to catch their breath, then Megalon carefully pulled out of Gigan. The kaiju couple lay cuddling wordlessly, sometimes exchanging kisses. Megalon caressed one side of Gigan's face with a soft, gentle touch.
"I love you so much, Gigan." he said sweetly.
"I love you, too, Megalon." Gigan said. He and his beloved shared one last kiss before drifting off to sleep, safe in his arms.
Gigan woke up some hours later before Megalon. He crawled out of his boyfriend's unconscious arms and stood watching the underground terrain of Seatopia, where it was now apparent that it would be his home. It wasn't outer space, but he and Megalon were together and accepted there, and that was all that mattered.
Rosy lights peeked over the eastern mountains as the Seatopians' man made sun began to rise. As it did, Gigan felt something in his abdominal area, where Megalon had released his seed earlier. His hands cupped over it as the feeling became uncomfortable, though not painful. It felt as if someone were tightly but gently squeezing his abdomen.
The pressure was starting to become distressing. He didn't know what was happening to him and he considered waking up Megalon. But then it was suddenly gone, replaced with something else, something better. He felt very happy, and very excited. Something throbbed very softly against his hands-a heartbeat. A tiny heart beating inside of him.
"The people of Seatopia will be thrilled when I tell them." Gigan said quietly to himself, then looked back at his still-sleeping mate. "And so will Megalon.
