“Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, where I’m from we’ve got real wrestling, none of this Sumo stuff. And real wrestling comes with a real outfit, not this diaper.”, quipped the bull as his large fingers fumbled fruitlessly trying to fasten the cloth around his waist.
“It’s called a mawashi and you’re not putting it on right.” Bento signed and reached over to Chad. “Here, let me help you.”
Chad brusquely pushed the pup’s paws to the side. “I told you I can do this myself. Besides, I don’t want you to sabotage me before the suuuu mooooo match.”, said the bull, deliberately mispronouncing the name of the sport. Bento rolled his eyes and let the bull be.
Of course, the match was just for fun, but the bull took all sports seriously. Chad and Bento were the same age, but the bull towered above the little Shiba Inu by almost a head and a half. Genetics had endowed the young bovine with thick pillars of sinew for arms and legs, and he did know how to use them. In fact, Chad’s biggest worry was whether or not he should go easy on Bento so the match wouldn’t end too quickly. “I almost feel bad for ya, pup. Bulls are just naturally bigger.” Chad stuck his tongue out and razzed the little Shiba.
“Alright boys, it’s time.” One of the ring officials directed them both out of the staging area and onto the platform. Chad looked around, dazed by how many spectators came to watch the show. An announcer on a loudspeaker chattered in an unintelligible language as the pageantry started around him. Chad vaguely remembered something about throwing salt around the ring, though his mild was elsewhere when the intricacies of the ceremony were being explained to him earlier in the day.
Eager to get the match started, the bull took a ready stance and stomped his feet back and forth, mimicking the movements of a Sumo wrestler he saw on TV. His movements clearly out of place during the opening ceremony, some of the audience started to chuckle. Always the crowd pleaser, Chad stomped a little harder, shifting from leg to leg as Bento rolled his eyes, the foreign bull clearly disregarding the steps of the ceremony. Chad basked in the crowd’s attention, starting to feel more at home, like he did on the football field.
Suddenly, the crowd’s chatter and chuckles exploded into laughter. Chad froze as he felt a cool breeze tickled the underside of his tight little balls. His mawashi had come undone, the tail of the loincloth trailing behind him as the front was left completely exposed. The bull’s canine opponent couldn’t help but chuckle, “Oh, Chad, I guess not every part of a bull is naturally bigger.”
