Sam was the one to stumble across it, searching forums for other things and finding some talks about this crazy fun pony game. While he wasn't always considering himself a big MLP fan, he knew Micah was a little more interested. And it was an excuse to play a game together as it seemed to be an online game too. For the most part. They could get together and play side by side in the world which sounded perfect for them.\nSo they created their ponies, not telling each other what they were making as a surprise. And when the prompt appeared on screen, they both clicked \"yeah that's me!\" not thinking anything of it. Their screens turned black and slowly the light came back as they blinked, looking upon a very colourful bright sea of grass.\nMicah stared down the snout and took a few steps back. On hooves. He looked down and lifted his arm to see pink hooves in the classic shape of a pony. There was no way this was right... this game felt realer than it should. Wasn't he sitting at a desk? Didn't he have hands? With a few more steps and careful inspection he was indeed controlling the body of this pony and seemed to be unable to look away from the screen. If there even was a screen. It was like he was in VR, but he never had the money for one. This was... real?\nHe looked around himself, twisting his neck to see his equine body and realizing just what kind of pony he was. A mare. And the cutie mark on his hindquarters... the colours... this was the pony he made! The one he created in the character creation! It was insane. How could this be? One second he's assuring that that was him and the next he's... Micah stopped franticly thinking for a second. A silent realization washed over. \"Is this you? Yeah that's me\". How could he be oblivious to what that meant? Or rather, how could it even do this to begin with? A million thoughts rushed through his head again until he heard a voice.\n\"Micah?\" It was Sam. He clopped up to him, looking much the same but a larger size. They both started speaking as though they were saying the same thing. Sam could finish Micah's sentences like they were psychic. It felt natural. But it was definitely a little strange too. They looked at each others avatars, looking exactly the same even down to their opposing colours. Their marks even reflecting each other as though they were twins. How did they manage to create the same look for their ponies?\nAt least they had spawned near each other. They started to converse about what happened and what they remembered, struggling to figure out what this meant. How it was possible. What were they going to do? There were more questions than answers and they hoped they would be revealed soon. Real soon.\nWhile they talked another voice appeared from the void. They looked over to the source to see a yellow pony standing there, a little marker above his head floating. \"Oh good you're finally awake.\" he says as he starts to explain to the twins their quest. Sanctioned breedings became a delicate situation and it has slowly been driving the denizens crazy.
