As two body bags were recently delivered to the local morgue, thugs, knowing their content, promptly unloaded them directly on the floor, revealing two familiar bodies. Recently used for self-defence courses, one had his neck snapped while the other was strangled.
"I still can't believe this dog somehow managed to cause so much trouble to Boss!", said one the thugs while laughing.
"Yeah", replied the other thug. "He might have been cunning, but that wasn't enough to save himself".
"What about the dragon-looking dude?"
"I don't know. He was caught snooping around the dog's house, so I guess he was probably his friend or a mate, but it doesn't matter. I'm just glad we caught him at the right time considering he lead us directly to the documents".
"I just hope we don't have any other unplanned guests. Forging those two waivers were so much a pain to deal with!"
"Well, just be lucky they were still marked!"
Since it's outlawed to kill marked citizens outside of the Rite of the Hunting, certain criminal organisations are taking advantage of the forfeiting rule whenever they can by forging the necessary documents for peoples who are disrupting their operations, then have them eliminated while being technically legal. This way, it helps with avoiding too much attention from the authorities.
"So, now what? Incineration as the usual?"
"Not this time. Apparently, the boss apparently want to keep them, so they need to be treated before it's too late."
"Really, eh? Well, I guess they are both cute looking, after all."
Without wasting any more time , they picked up both corpses to bring them to a special workshop so they can be prepared, then eventually delivered to their final destination.
