closed her and Mika’s bedroom door to let Mika have her little study break, a soft sigh escaping her lips as the latch closed, curious what she could do for her break.\n\n\tSuddenly her ears perked up, hearing faint knocks from the front door. Moving rather quickly, she shouted “I got it!” before opening the door, finding a suddenly shocked skunkette stepping back. Chrys gasped and pulled her into a hug, asking “Hey Jaz! What brings you around?” while bringing her in through the door.\n\n\t“I… I was told to spend the day here s-since Mom and Dad aren’t going to be home for a while.” Jaz said, trying to gather her composure a bit, instantly tipping Chrys off a bit as she smiled and lead Jaz to the living room.\n\n\t“What about Tucker?” Chrys asked, sitting down on the couch with a big flop, her tail flicking gently as she scooted close to her friend. “He’s has therapy with Regi, th-then he’s going to visit with his grandma.” Jaz said, looking down at her lap for a moment before turning to look at Chrys, her eyes going wide realizing how close she was.\n\n\t“Sorry~ you’re just too cute when you blush.” Chrys said with a small giggle, laying back into the couch as she kept looking to Jaz. “So Jazzy… What do you wanna do?” She asked while kicking her feet with a bit of restless energy.\n\n\t“I… I was going to practice my art with Caine… U-unless he’s busy!” Jaz muttered before looking down, drawing her book bag to her lap while her big fluffy tail laid over it, feeling a bit amiss as she had hoped Caine would have answered the door.\n\n\t“Oh! So that’s why you’re blushing~” Chrys cooed softly, before seeing Jaz bring her bag up to hide her face, making Chrys’s ears fold back, lightly holding the skunkette’s shoulder. “Aww Jazzy I’m sorry.” Chrys said softly, slowly shifting the bag down to look at the nervous girls eyes, her hand lightly holding her cheek to help calm her down.\n\n\tWith a few deep breaths, the young skunkette started to settle down, smiling as she said “It… It’s true though, I kind of wanted to spend time with him.” with her tail lightly shivering, Chrys however could read her like a book at this point and knew exactly what she was going to do with her break.\n\n\t“I’m sure Caine could always take a break with us~” Chrys cooed before gently taking Jaz’s hand, getting her to her feet before having her follow, the skunkette leaving behind her book bag on the couch.\n\n\t“I don’t want to be a bother!” She said rather startled, seeing them both heading directly for Caine’s room, though she didn’t fight it at all, knowing Chrys was just helping her get past her nerves.\n\n\tGently shifting the door open, the girls could see Caine laying back on the bed, his arm resting over his eyes as he wagged his tail gently, likely taking a break from his work. “Caaaine?~ got time for a couple of cuties?” Chrys teased, seeing Caine raise his arm up and slowly shift up on the bed.\n\n\t“Oh hey Chrys, sure do was just res… Oh hey Jaz!” Caine said so softly, making Jaz breath in a small gasp, thinking to herself how sweet he was before she stepped in with Chrys.\n\n\t“Sorry Caine, I uhm… Wanted to practice a bit.” Jaz muttered, her hand holding her other arm as she smiled to him, Chrys meanwhile just jumped in, hopping up on the bed with him for a hug.\n\n\tCaine just wrapped his arms around her and chuckled, bringing the energetic crimson vixen to his lap. “Well I’d love to Jaz, but I’m in a bit of a slump.” Caine said while rubbing the back of his head, his tail still thumping softly against the bed.\n\n\t“Anything we can help with?” Chrys asked, her tail swaying behind her with a familiar look to her eyes.
