Although I have the equipment to cut the valve off and solder a new one on, it was thankfully a threaded connection, and with a little WD40 it easily moved. I picked up a replacement valve, 3/8th to 3/8th, but when I got home to compare them, the inlet was obviously bigger than the 3/8ths inlet of the new valve. No worries, but be 1/2\". I measure the OD of the pipe to confirm ... and it's 11/16th. Who makes pipe like that?\n\nI couldn't find the valve, but I found replacement internals for the valve, so I did that. At first that seemed to fix the leak, but then it came back. I figured it was the washer I busted trying to get the new internals in since an old washer was stuck in the bonnet cap of the valve.
