"description": "Ascot leaned towards the glass-tinted windows of the empty church, basically planting his face onto the cold surface as his vision adjusted to the dark interiors. For being such a well-guarded site, he was still surprised to have gotten access to one of the upper decks by simply climbing, possibly a benefit to his rather small frame... also partially thanks to partaking in Aura and Fawn's shenanigans across the Orphanage...\n\nSquinting slightly, the young boy could distinguish a lone figure at the very centre of the church, a woman of some unknown race to him, kneeling over the hard concrete floor like she was not experiencing any form of discomfort. She wore a purple veil laced with golden silk in a strange pattern, her dress wrapping around her body like it was merely a second skin.\n\nYet it wasn't just the mere sight that had gotten him so starstruck, but instead what she was doing at that very moment. The first was the immaculate voice that echoed through even the thick windows of the church, unnaturally loud enough that the boy felt like the woman was singing right in front of him. Her words were to alien for him to decipher, the tone of her voice a constant mix of chanting and singing. \n\nThen the most peculiar thing, a black orb the size of the woman's head hovered just above her hands. No matter how much the cautus boy squinted, even with enhanced vision thanks to his race, it still appeared to be a black orb of nothiness, outlined only by a blinding silhouette of light, and a disk that seemed to bend in fictitious ways. The orb seemed to respond to the woman's voice, as well as affecting the shimmering veil wrapped around her head, its golden threads radiating, pronouncing the unique patterns even further, light flowing from the largest gemstone on her forehead to the very tips like flowing water.\n\n\"Hey.\" A bored voice startled the young boy as he fell back onto the balcony floor, the cautus orphan quickly noticing a man now leaning over the concrete railing, completely dressed in dark leather, and a very, very, clear view of the Bastard sword sheathed on his hip. The man was surprisingly skinny for a dragonoid, his dark wings folded into a cloak.\n\n\"I-I-I can explain-\" Ascot timidly chirped. He had done it now, something bad, and very illegal from the site of the many dozen guards stationed just below-\n\n\"Chill kid, I ain't one of them, just noticed you climbing and decided to have a look as well, now I wouldn't be the only one getting in trouble then.\" The man laughed as he jumped off the railing, making his way towards the young boy and squating just beside him. Even hunched over, the man was completely dwarfing the child, his sword alone nearly as tall as Ascot. \n\n\"I-I- I see... Wait-\"\n\n\"Yep, just like you, I ain't 'upposed to be here. What's your reasoning?\" The man nodded at the boy's realization, turning to him.\n\n\"J-Just... curious... that's all...\" The boy timidly spoke. He always had a hard time with strangers, even more so in a rather illegal and awkward situation like where they were.\n\n\"Huh, same here. So, know what's happening there?\"\n\n\"Uh...\"\n\n\"'Course you don't. That right there is a Celestial Seer, straight outta the capital, under direct orders of the God Queen herself.\" The man explained, causing the boy's eyes to sparkle.\n\n\"W-wha- You mean the God Queen?-\"\n\n\"Yeah, God Queen, Sun Empress, Warrior Queen... Those guys right there are directly under her.\" Ascot couldn't believe what he was hearing. Someone directly under the God Queen is in his town of Polaris, at the very northernmost fringes of the great Empire? \n\n\"Wow... but what's a Celestial Seer?\" The boy tilted his head in confusion. As much of an importance the woman below them held, he still had no idea what she was.\n\n\"[i]Sigh,[/i] you're pretty dumb, you know that? Do you even read books?\" The man sighed, much to the illiterate boy's embarrassment.\n\n\"Attempting to...\"\n\n\"Whatever... But have you heard of any story, whatsoever? Just one.\" The man raised a brow, being patient enough to test Ascot's intelligence.\n\n\"Oh! I know a lot. Well there's the Hero King who fought against the Witch Ophiuchus...\"\n\n\"Welp, you're not so stupid after all... And who tasked the Hero King to defeat the witch of calamity?\"\n\n\"Uh... The Constellations!\"\n\n\"Yes, the race of gods that founded this very empire. But there was also something else they've gifted to the people under the Empire: Their magic.\"\n\n\"Magic? What is that?\" Ascot raised a brow, immediately causing the man to deflate.\n\n\"Gods you are stupid... Whatever. Unlike a race gifted with wings such as I, or enhanced vision like you rabbit-folk, magic goes beyond our body. Like that orb she is creating. That is magic.\"\n\n\"Whoa...\" Ascot mumbled as all the information being thrown at him nearly overwhelmed him.\n\n\"These magic users embody a certain constellation's power. For example, the God Queen is the embodiement of the Sun, while the Lunar General is the embodiment of the Moon. That woman there is tasked with finding people who have inherited these powers.\"\n\n\"And...\"\n\n\"From the looks of it... guess there ain't one in this town.\" The man laughed, though it wasn't the boy's question.\n\n\"But why?\"\n\n\"Listen kid, you'd sleep better not knowing what the hell is happening, you're too young. The Warrior Queen just needs the Star-touched.\"\n\nIt was all the boy needed to hear as he returned his gaze onto the beautiful woman. I decided to use Gardevoir to introduce my upcoming story, The Orphanage's Services, because it will be a story centered around the constellations. No, the story isn't mainly going to be a Pokemon fanfic, obvious enough by Ascot and Draugr being a rabbit and a dragon. \n\nAnyways, the final image in this collection is a sketch of human Ascot, the main character of this story and a character I've been drawing for a year now. Next post would probably be the rabbit version of him.",

For being such a well-guarded site, he was still surprised to have gotten access to one of the upper decks by simply climbing, possibly a benefit to his rather small frame... also partially thanks to partaking in Aura and Fawn's shenanigans across the Orphanage...
Squinting slightly, the young boy could distinguish a lone figure at the very centre of the church, a woman of some unknown race to him, kneeling over the hard concrete floor like she was not experiencing any form of discomfort. She wore a purple veil laced with golden silk in a strange pattern, her dress wrapping around her body like it was merely a second skin.
Yet it wasn't just the mere sight that had gotten him so starstruck, but instead what she was doing at that very moment. The first was the immaculate voice that echoed through even the thick windows of the church, unnaturally loud enough that the boy felt like the woman was singing right in front of him. Her words were to alien for him to decipher, the tone of her voice a constant mix of chanting and singing.
Then the most peculiar thing, a black orb the size of the woman's head hovered just above her hands. No matter how much the cautus boy squinted, even with enhanced vision thanks to his race, it still appeared to be a black orb of nothiness, outlined only by a blinding silhouette of light, and a disk that seemed to bend in fictitious ways. The orb seemed to respond to the woman's voice, as well as affecting the shimmering veil wrapped around her head, its golden threads radiating, pronouncing the unique patterns even further, light flowing from the largest gemstone on her forehead to the very tips like flowing water.
"Hey." A bored voice startled the young boy as he fell back onto the balcony floor, the cautus orphan quickly noticing a man now leaning over the concrete railing, completely dressed in dark leather, and a very, very, clear view of the Bastard sword sheathed on his hip. The man was surprisingly skinny for a dragonoid, his dark wings folded into a cloak.
"I-I-I can explain-" Ascot timidly chirped. He had done it now, something bad, and very illegal from the site of the many dozen guards stationed just below-
"Chill kid, I ain't one of them, just noticed you climbing and decided to have a look as well, now I wouldn't be the only one getting in trouble then." The man laughed as he jumped off the railing, making his way towards the young boy and squating just beside him. Even hunched over, the man was completely dwarfing the child, his sword alone nearly as tall as Ascot.
"I-I- I see... Wait-"
"Yep, just like you, I ain't 'upposed to be here. What's your reasoning?" The man nodded at the boy's realization, turning to him.
"J-Just... curious... that's all..." The boy timidly spoke. He always had a hard time with strangers, even more so in a rather illegal and awkward situation like where they were.
"Huh, same here. So, know what's happening there?"
"Uh..."
"'Course you don't. That right there is a Celestial Seer, straight outta the capital, under direct orders of the God Queen herself." The man explained, causing the boy's eyes to sparkle.
"W-wha- You mean the God Queen?-"
"Yeah, God Queen, Sun Empress, Warrior Queen... Those guys right there are directly under her." Ascot couldn't believe what he was hearing. Someone directly under the God Queen is in his town of Polaris, at the very northernmost fringes of the great Empire?
"Wow... but what's a Celestial Seer?" The boy tilted his head in confusion. As much of an importance the woman below them held, he still had no idea what she was.
"Sigh, you're pretty dumb, you know that? Do you even read books?" The man sighed, much to the illiterate boy's embarrassment.
"Attempting to..."
"Whatever... But have you heard of any story, whatsoever? Just one." The man raised a brow, being patient enough to test Ascot's intelligence.
"Oh! I know a lot. Well there's the Hero King who fought against the Witch Ophiuchus..."
"Welp, you're not so stupid after all... And who tasked the Hero King to defeat the witch of calamity?"
"Uh... The Constellations!"
"Yes, the race of gods that founded this very empire. But there was also something else they've gifted to the people under the Empire: Their magic."
"Magic? What is that?" Ascot raised a brow, immediately causing the man to deflate.
"Gods you are stupid... Whatever. Unlike a race gifted with wings such as I, or enhanced vision like you rabbit-folk, magic goes beyond our body. Like that orb she is creating. That is magic."
"Whoa..." Ascot mumbled as all the information being thrown at him nearly overwhelmed him.
"These magic users embody a certain constellation's power. For example, the God Queen is the embodiement of the Sun, while the Lunar General is the embodiment of the Moon. That woman there is tasked with finding people who have inherited these powers."
"And..."
"From the looks of it... guess there ain't one in this town." The man laughed, though it wasn't the boy's question.
"But why?"
"Listen kid, you'd sleep better not knowing what the hell is happening, you're too young. The Warrior Queen just needs the Star-touched."
It was all the boy needed to hear as he returned his gaze onto the beautiful woman.
