Acorn stood before her Queen, muzzle dripping blood. A slain wolf was at Acorn's feet. The scent of blood tinged the cave mouth here Fang stood, head tilted slightly, ears perked, and eyes steady upon her. "I have done what you asked," Acorn spoke, her gray eyes clouded with an unknown expression, perhaps guilt. Or shame. Fang slowly stepped from the cave mouth. The Queen's mate, Sherwood, started to follow, then stopped when he saw the carnage that Acorn had brought them. His ears flattened to his skull and he stepped backwards, nearly stumbling on his own paws as he did. He may have been twice Fang's size, but was terrified at the very thought of conflict. Yet here it laid just in front of his home. "My Queen," Acorn said, tail slowly slinking between her legs, "this is what you wanted, is it not?" The mangled body was a younger, quiet wolf that had joined the pack under the impression of a free ride. When pushed to hunt, he had snapped at his Queen, and now laid dead before her - blue eyes now clouded and fur matted with blood. Acorn had barely a scratch on her amber fur. "I believe what I said was to make him leave," Fang spoke evenly and calmly. Acorn drew her lips back and tried to make herself look smaller, which was an impossible feat considering how Fang was barely larger than a coyote. Rather than berate or reprimand her however, Fang approached and placed her head against the violent enforcer's neck. She rubbed her muzzle gently against Acorn's messy fur before licking her mouth and cheeks of the blood that stained it. Slowly, Acorn raised her ears and warily pressed herself closer to her Queen over the body of the young male. Softly, against her ear so Sherwood would not hear it, Fang muttered, "He is no longer a threat to me, yes? I would say you preformed your role, dear. Take this filth from my sight so my mate will sleep easy. You will do this, won't you?" Acorn's legs felt weak. "Yes, my Queen." "Thank you. I will join you in a bit. Let me speak to my mate to calm his fears." Before Acorn set about her new task, Fang nuzzled her neck and chest and licked her muzzle. Acorn's breath caught in her throat and her heart raced. /What was it about Fang?/ She thought. To any other wolf, she would easily and violently have displaced their leaders, or died in the process. But Fang as different. She would have been easy to kill. She was weak, and her mate was fearful, but something in her olive eyes made Acorn trust and adore her with more fervor than any other creature. She belonged to Fang, more than in the sense of the pack - her body and mind were at Fang's disposal. And as Fang walked away, flicking her tail, Acorn knew she didn't want anything else. Acorn dragged the male little by little away from their home and headed towards a mildly disputed border. Nothing said "caution" like the rotting body of another wolf. It was slow going. It'd been difficult enough to pull the body up to the caves considering he was larger than her. She'd ripped out quite a bit of his innards to make the trip manageable. At the very least, she was able to shove and roll it down several embankments. Just as her shoulders started to burn, she heard the telltale steps of her Queen - a sound she could recognize instantly. She lifted her tail and dropped the carcass as Fang approached, enthusiastically greeting her with her front body lowered to lick her muzzle and tail sticking straight out. Fang absently licked Acorn's cheek and looked over the body. "Bringing it to the border?" "Yes, my Queen," Acorn barked. "I thought it would serve as a warning." "Good idea," said the Queen, shaking some dew from her fur and yawning before joining Acorn in the task. Despite the Queen's small size, she was surprisingly strong, and the two of them made short work dragging the body to the border. Acorn paused for a moment to rest and watched Fang sniffing about the body. Fang then calmly cocked her leg like a male and marked the body to further discourage conflict. The sun was beginning to set, and she hitched her chin at Acorn and began the trek back. It was starting to get dark long before they made it back to the center of their territory, but Fang stopped in a clearing. She licked her paws and groomed her sides until Acorn caught up with her. "Queen Fang?" Acorn asked uncertainly. Fang looked over her shoulder with a slight smile. "You did very well today," the Queen remarked. "I have a reward for your hard work, dear." Acorn approached cautiously, unsure if her leader was being serious. It was common for her to act strangely and flippantly. Acorn pressed her face to the Queen's dark marking between her shoulder blades and hoped that this wasn't one of those times. She inhaled Fang's scent and shuddered. She smelled of a slowly fading heat. And like her mate, Sherwood. Was this her first heat? Acorn felt uncertain, but the idea of her Queen having pups... Her thoughts trailed off. It was odd to her as Fang lowered her body to the ground while keeping her back up. /A play bow?/ Acorn thought. Strangely childish of her, but not - /oh/. Fang calmly moved her tail to the side, exposing the most sensitive part of her body. Acorn's tail flared straight up, and Fang giggled. "Go ahead," Fang said. "Take your reward. You've earned your place." Acorn was awestruck and couldn't move. She had thought about it, of course. The scent of Fang's heat had driven her mad the past few days, and she had to coldly observe her Queen grooming herself after casual attempts to breed with Sherwood - who was frantic and desperate to breed her every chance she offered herself to him. Her sway over him was undeniable. "Acorn?" Fang asked. She lazily swayed her tail, wafting the pungent scent of heat to the air. "I'm waiting." Acorn remembered to breathe, slowly inhaling and approaching. She pressed her nose to the source of her leader's scent, and Fang let out a soft noise and dug her claws into the loose leaf litter. Acorn's brain started to go fuzzy. The thoughts and uncertainty melted as she tasted her Queen. Fang pressed her hips back towards Acorn's mouth. It was divine. The scent she dreamt about was spreading through her mouth and muzzle. She didn't even mind the faint taste of Sherwood still lingering on her. She pushed her tongue inside of Fang, and Fang muffled a moan against the ground. Her limbs shook and buckled. "That's it," she murmured softly. "My beautiful girl..." her voice trailed off and gave way to louder, uncontained moans as Acorn drank deeply from her, pushing her tongue in as deeply as she could. A sudden overwhelming urge overtook Acorn's body, and she stopped. Fang looked over her shoulder, breathing heavily. Before she had the chance to ask, Acorn mounted her. Acorn brought the smaller wolf's hips against hers and began instinctively breeding Fang, her brain now only able to imagine something impossible. Something she desperately needed. "My Queen-" Acorn's voice hitched as her hips moved automatically, shoving roughly against hers. Part of her thought she was being ridiculous and her actions pointless. But that quickly changed as her Queen growled deeply and shoved her forearms so deeply into the leaf litter it left tracks. "Please," Fang gasped. "Please, harder. Breed me." She whined desperately, in a way completely unbecoming of a Queen. Maybe, thought Acorn, that's why she's /my/ Queen. Acorn couldn't help but let out little growls and snarls as she roughly bred her Queen. Fang dug her claws in deeper into the dirt and it took very little time for her entire body to shudder underneath Acorn's, her legs shaking too hard to hold herself up, and she cried out and panted deeply, clearly satisfied. But Acorn wasn't. Not yet. She drug Fang's hips back to hers, panting as she approached a climax of her own. "Y-yes," Fang whimpered between breaths. "You need me, don't you? T-to satisfy yourself. My. Gorgeous. Ah." Her voice faltered as Acorn slammed desperately against her, biting her Queen's neck deeply, overtaken by her own body. She tasted Fang's blood in her mouth as she shuddered and jerked, dragging Fang's paws across the leaves as she gave in. Fang could only whimper helplessly below her until Acorn pulled away, quickly collapsing on her side and panting heavily. The two didn't speak even as they laid looking at one another. They could only pant and stare, even as the moon ascended into the sky. Blood dripped from the back of Fang's neck, around each side and to the middle as if forming a strange necklace. Then slowly, she stood. She shook her fur and tiny droplets of blood caught the moonlight. "Acorn," she said. Her tone was enigmatic, and Acorn shakily rose, expecting the worst. She'd let her instincts get the best of her. She silently cursed herself for ruining her chance, but Fang sat quietly in front of her. She lifted her muzzle, exposing the blood that had matted her fur. Acorn began gently licking her, cleaning off the blood she'd drawn. Fang turned herself so Acorn could clean off all the blood. As she finished, Queen Fang shook her fur and slowly exhaled. "Shall we go back? Sherwood is probably worried." she smiled, showing her slightly snaggled right canine tooth. "I...yes." Acorn kept her head low as she stood to follow her, but Fang didn't move. "Acorn," she said. "Tonight. Sleep in the cave with my mate and I." "Why?" Acorn asked apprehensively. "You're my mate now too, aren't you?" she asked as if it were obvious. "That's where you'll sleep."
