Moredena was actually the inspiration that originally created ribbon bondage badges. I had owed her a trade for, like, forever, so I tried to come up with something that would make it worth the wait. She loved the ribbon bondage art I drew and since I always have a million spools of ribbon everywhere, a badge was born!
Anyways, I did a LOT of commission work today so I decided to do something for myself/ friend...
I usually post these on my
\n\t\t\t\t\tfarellemoon account, but the new design ones I will post here.Basically what you have happening is that there is three layers of art going on here if you don't count the lamination, because if you do there are five. =P
So what is the difference?
1.) The size is larger, this one is on the larger size of 8 inches, but the average one will be about 5 to 7 depending on what the commissioner requests. This leaves me the opportunity to be more creative with how the ribbon is wrapped on the character. Knotty styl'en will be coming!
2.) The coloring has much more effort put into it. Before I stuck to flat color and gel pen whites now and then, but on these new one there is marker, colored pencil and a bit of gel pen. This is to give the badge a much needed pop since the ribbon is 3D, the character goes better with it.
3.) There is an optional additional layer/ backing to help protect the ribbon that is laced through the back... it also makes it look nicer. This does NOT cost extra, but is something you either will LOVE or not want. An't forcing anyone, but it helps make your badge last longer.
4.) Better attached 'lanyard' style ribbon to hang around your neck. Instead of being tied to the other ribbon (which in the past sometimes rips it out/ off) there is a new adhesive holding it on PLUS a new way it is laced to the backing.
5.) I draw better. It's not dramatic, like I'm suddenly professional quality, but here was the first badge: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/1468930/ and I think I have grown. I wanted my signature badge to grow with me so here we are.
6.) DIFFERENT MATERIALS! Ribbon not your thing? That's alright, I have leather, chainmail (Thanks to a local chainmail person) and mini rope. =3 Examples of these to come. =D
7.) Nipples... or what we call 'Extra Happiness'. This was actually something I introduced at my very last Rainfurrest in 2009. Two hot glue nipples under the ribbon for you perverted delight of feeling yourself up. Not required and there will not be an extra charge... but it's really funny, and I have literally had people scream and run away after feeling up one of my badges. It's worth it just for that.
This badge took me about 3 hours to make form start to finish. That is why this badge is $50 or $45 for repeat subs. They're not hard to make, but they really are time heavy and material consuming.
I can't accept commissions for these at the moment, because I'm backlogged. However, I'm hoping to be done by March 2012. Then I can take them on. If you'd like to be on my waiting list and be the first to be contacted when I can take them please let me know!

If you are waiting for your bondage badge, and (I know this will sound horrible but I want to be honest) have been waiting a year or longer for your badge and wish to upgrade immediately to the new style for free AND are willing to wait for delivery until March (they do take more time) please contact me.
