The following week was spent with Bobby taking care of everything he’d need to take care of before his classes began in Bunnyburrow’s college. He’d gotten all his supplies and books bought and made sure he had a schedule of where and when each of his classes would take place. The day finally came when he’d be attending his first classes, and, as the porcupine woke up, took a shower and got dressed, he made his way into the kitchen, greeting both his boyfriends, who were talking to each other. “Good morning!” Travis turned to look at him. “Good morning. It sounds like you’re in a good mood.” “I am. To be honest, I’m excited to get my classes started,” Bobby told him. “By the way,” Gideon spoke up as he turned to the porcupine. “What are ya majorin’ in? Ah don’t think ya ever told us.” “I’m majoring in Creative Writing with a minor in Culinary Arts,” Bobby told him. “I want to work more on my writing skills, but I also wanted to learn more about cooking so I could help you guys with the bakery.” “Sounds like yer gonna be pretty busy,” Gideon commented. “Yeah, but the way my classes are arranged, I’ll still have time to help you guys with things in the bakery.” “Ah don’t want ya overdoin’ it, Bobby,” Gideon told him. “Don’t worry, Gid. I won’t be. I didn’t take a lot of classes, so I’ll still have time for me to help here without getting exhausted,” Bobby told Gideon. “Besides, it’s my job now. I don’t want to neglect my job any more than I want to neglect my education.” “Ah get that... Just... take care of yerself too, okay?” “I will, Gid. I promise.” Bobby walked over, giving Gideon a hug and a kiss before doing the same to Travis. It was only then that he noticed the pancakes on the table. As soon as Gideon saw that Bobby’s eyes had shifted toward them, he grinned. “Go on. Those are yers. Ah want ya to have somethin’ ta eat before ya go.” With that, Bobby sat down, cut into the pancakes and took a bite. After chewing and swallowing what was in his mouth, he smiled. “Mmm... Delicious.” “You always say that,” Travis replied with a laugh. “Because it’s true,” Bobby told the ferret as he ate. “Mahalo, Gid. This is a nice meal to wake up to this morning.” “Ah gotta make sure ya have a good meal before ya head off ta class,” Gideon told him. “And I really appreciate it,” the porcupine replied. He sat there and chatted a bit as he ate before eventually standing up and cleaning up his plate. He gave both Travis and Gideon a quick kiss afterward. “See you guys for lunch.” “Sounds good ta me,” the fox said before kissing him back. “Ditto,” Travis responded, before doing the same. “I love you two. Aloha for now,” Bobby said before gathering his things, making his way out of the apartment, down the elevator, and outside to his car. He then got in, making his way to the college. As he got there, he noticed several furs milling about. Using the map of the campus, Bobby navigated through them to where his first class for the day was. When he got there, he took a deep breath, let it out and stepped inside. There were already a few others there, and, to his surprise, he recognized one of them. Walking over to a fur he saw standing by one of the tables in the corner, he spoke up. “Jaguar?” The jaguar had been staring out the nearby window, but was also shifting back and forth on his feet. When Bobby called out to him, he stopped moving and turned to face him. “Hm? Oh! Hi.” “I don’t think we’ve actually met in person, but I’ve seen you around the city a few times. I’m Bobby Thornbody.” He offered his paw as he spoke. Jaguar looked surprised at first but then smiled, taking the paw and shaking it. “Nice to meet you. I’ve heard your name many times in the last few years. It’s nice to officially meet you, Bobby.” “Nice to meet you too,” Bobby replied back. “I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to cooking all the delicious food we’re going to end up cooking here.” “I’m looking forward to EATING the food,” Jaguar said with a smirk. Bobby laughed. “Heh... Me too.” “Mind if I ask how exactly you knew who I was? I mean, I know you said you’ve seen me around the city, but how did you know my name,” Jaguar asked, looking at him curiously. “Oh! That’s because of a mutual friend of ours, Xander Hopps,” Bobby told him. “Granted that was a few years ago, but I’ve got a pretty good memory.” “Xander?” The jaguar looked confused for a moment. “Oh! Wow, I almost forgot about that. How’s he doing?” “Last time I talked to him was a short time after his surgery, but he seemed to be doing well,” Bobby told the cat. “That’s good. I should call him and say hello. I’ve been meaning to do that.” “I’m sure he’d appreciate it,” Bobby remarked. The two talked back and forth with each other as other furs filled the room. Eventually, a ram wearing an apron entered the room as well. He walked over to the front of the room, greeting everyone with a smile. “Good morning! I hope you came with your appetites, because you’re going to be cooking quite a bit here with me.” This got a chuckle from several of the furs in the room, including Bobby and Jaguar. Class began shortly after, and it wasn’t long before they had their first baking session. It appeared things were starting off simple enough, as the class was asked to bake their favorite cookies, which the ram would be doing alongside them. Everyone was asked to work in pairs so Bobby looked at Jaguar. “Did you want to work together?” “I don’t see why not,” he replied. “Cool. Let’s get started then, shall we?” The jaguar nodded. “Yup!” The two then began gathering what they would need for the recipe, having decided to go with chocolate chip cookies. They began prepping and measuring things out immediately. Bobby noticed that Jaguar was shifting back and forth on his feet again as he worked, but, although he thought Jaguar might have been nervous or worried about something, he saw there was a smile on his face, so he chose not to question it. Once they had gotten the cookie dough prepared, the two of them prepped a cookie sheet before putting small spoonfuls of dough onto it until they had filled the sheet. Then, after getting the oven preheated, the two put the cookies in it and set a timer before finally taking a seat. “Heh, that wasn’t too hard,” Jaguar commented. “I’d have been surprised if it were, given it’s only our first day,” Bobby replied. “I love chocolate chip cookies.” “Me too. I used to come home from work and make cookies as a way to destress from my job.” “Oh? What do you do, if I may ask,” Bobby looked at him curiously. “Well, I used to be an actuary... After a while, though, the job started stressing me out, so I’d come home and bake stuff to relax. Now, I’m trying to work toward a Culinary Arts degree to become a chef.” “Nice,” Bobby said with a smile. “Yeah. What about you? Are you working toward a Culinary Arts degree too,” the jaguar asked him. “Nah. I’m just minoring in it. Partially because I enjoy baking, and partially to help with my job at the bakery I work at. My Major is Creative Writing,” Bobby told him. “Ah! What bakery do you work at?” “Real Good Baked Stuff. Kinda surprised you haven’t been there before.” “I have. I guess I’m just never there when you’re working,” Jaguar remarked. “I love Gideon’s blueberry pie.” Bobby chuckled. “You and me both.” “Hey, Bobby? Can I ask you a bit of a personal question?” “Hm? Yeah, sure, Jaguar. What is it?” “Are you the same Bobby I’ve heard him mention as his mate?” Bobby gave a big smile. “Yup. That’s me. Why do you ask?” “No particular reason. I just hear him talk about you when I’m there sometimes,” the cat replied. “I love Gid very much,” Bobby commented. The two talked back and forth until the timer went off. Bobby stood and carefully retrieved the cookies from the oven, sniffing them when he did. “Mmm. They smell great.” Jaguar came over. “They look great too, so I think it’s safe to say we did well.” “Let’s give them a little bit to cool, then we’ll find out,” Bobby commented. “Right,” Jaguar replied with a nod. “So... how do you like Bunnyburrow so far?” “I’ve been loving it here. It’s been really nice being able to settle down here and actually see what this city has to offer, as opposed to the random visits I’d make whenever one of my friends would bring me here from the Zoo.” Almost immediately, Bobby froze up. He’d now just given away something he’d have to explain if Jaguar prodded him about it, without any knowledge of whether or not he knew what the Zoo was in the first place. Jaguar, however, just chuckled, seeing the uneasy look on his face. “Bobby, it’s okay... While I’ve never actually seen you there when I’ve visited it, I do know about the Zoo and the activities that go on there,” he said in a whisper. Bobby gave a relieved sigh. “Ok, thank god... I didn’t mean for that to slip out.” “Don’t worry about it,” the cat replied. “Uhhh... Would it be okay if I asked YOU a personal question?” “Sure,” Jaguar commented. "I notice you shift back and forth on your feet a lot, but, while most people seem to do that when they're nervous, I've noticed you seem to do it when you're happy. Is there a particular reason for that," the porcupine asked. This make Jaguar laugh. "Actually, a few years ago, it DID start out as something I did when I was nervous. If I got on edge while at work, I'd start doing it because I was having trouble handling a client." "So... what changed?" “Well, shortly after I quit, I started catching myself doing it more often when I was baking. I’d start getting hungry as I was waiting for whatever I was making, and I caught myself doing it out of nowhere." Bobby snickered. "So instead of it happening when you got nervous, it was now happening more when you got hungry." "Yeah. To this day, I'm still not sure why," the cat commented. Bobby couldn't help letting a smirk show on his face with those words. "What?" Jaguar looked at the porcupine curiously. Bobby leaned in close. "When you're hungry at the Zoo, I'm betting your meal goes somewhere other than down your muzzle, doesn't it?" The cat blushed heavily. "Y... Yeah..." "Thought so..." Bobby snickered again. After the cookies had gotten cool enough to handle, Bobby carefully transfered them over to a large plate before taking one of them and taking a bite out of it. "Mmm... These turned out great!" Jaguar grabbed one as well. As he was taking a bite, the instructor came by. The ram looked at the two of them with a smile. "May I?" He gestured to the cookies. "Please," Bobby and Jaguar replied in unison. The ram took one of the cookies and took a bite out of it. Almost immediately, a smile formed on his face. As he chewed and swallowed the bite, he looked at the other two. “Delicious.” “Mahalo,” Bobby commented. “Thank you,” Jaguar added. “Quite the tasty treat you’ve given me,” he said. “I’ve always been a fan of chocolate chip cookies. I’ve been baking them since I was a kid,” Bobby told the ram. “I’ve loved them too. My parents spoiled me with them when I was little,” Jaguar added in. “I see,” the ram said with a nod. “Well, your work definitely shows here. I’m very impressed.” Bobby and Jaguar both smiled as the ram moved to the next pair of students. “I think it’s safe to say we did good,” Bobby commented with a smile of his own. Jaguar nodded. “Looks that way. Thanks for working with me.” “I was glad to do it,” Bobby told him. “This was fun!” The rest of class went just as smoothly as the baking did. The ram explained the various things he’d be teaching them, and showed several pictures of various things he’d made and that he’d be teaching the class to make as well. As the class ended, Bobby looked at his new friend. “See you tomorrow, Jaguar!” The cat nodded. “Yup. See ya!” With that, Bobby left, heading for his next class. He had two other classes to tend to before lunch, and, once he had finished, he made his way back home, coming in with a smile. “I’m back, guys,” he called out. The first to see him was Travis, who walked over and gave him a hug and a quick kiss. “How were your classes this morning?” “They went fine. I actually met one of Xander’s friends during the cooking class. Jaguar is apparently taking courses to become a chef someday.” “Oh! Wow, I haven’t seen him in a while,” the ferret commented. “Heh, yeah... Where’s Gid?” “He needed to make a quick store run. He should be back any minute now,” Travis told him. Right then, the door opened, and Gideon stepped inside, carrying a couple bags in his paws. “Actually, ah got here right as ah saw Bobby goin’ inside. Ah just missed him.” Bobby laughed, walked over and took one of the bags to help Gideon, and the two of them set the bags on the counter Gideon gave Bobby a quick kiss. “How was yer mornin’?” “It was fine. I was just telling Travis, I ran into Jaguar during one of them. He’s apparently working toward becoming a chef someday.” “Nice. What about the rest of ‘em?” “Not a lot to tell, really. They’re just classes meant to help me with my writing skills. Funny thing was, one of the classes had me writing a poem, and well... you know how much I love writing poetry.” “Ah do. Do ya have it with ya?” “Mmhmm. Wanna hear it?” Both the ferret and the fox nodded, so Bobby pulled out the folder he kept his work in, taking out the sheet that had the poem on it before he began reading. “My special place isn’t hard to see, It’s one we all pass by. A place I know I can just be me, And no one questions why. Inside it, I know there’s nothing to fear, Because it’s the place I belong. Within that place are those I hold dear, Who help me when I don’t feel strong. A baker fox stands to one side, With pasties, cookies and sweets. The love he shows, he doesn’t hide, And he shares that with all he meets. A ferret stands beside his art, With a smile on his face. He’s got a loving and gentle heart, That’s seen within this place. A ferret and fox both are mine. In my special place, it’s love I feel. As long as I’m here, I know I’ll be fine. Because I know those feelings are real. My special place may be easy to find, And it’s not too hard to spot, But I know I’ll never be left behind, Or be told, about me, they forgot. I love these two with all my heart, And I know they love me too. In my special place, where we’re never apart, I know that this is true.” “That was beautiful, hun,” Gideon commented. “It sure was,” Travis added. “Mahalo. I just hope the professor likes it as much as you guys do,” Bobby commented. “Ah’m sure he will,” Gideon replied. “That aside, are ya hungry?” “Depends. What’s on the lunch menu,” the porcupine asked. “Nothin’ fancy. Ah made some grilled cheese sandwiches, and Travis made some tomato soup ta go with it,” Gideon told him. “Heh... Perfect combo. Sounds great, guys.” Bobby followed the two as they headed over to the kitchen area. Gideon grabbed a platter that had several sandwiches on it. Travis started ladling some soup into the different bowls before bringing them over, one at a time. “Are you thirsty, Bobby,” Travis asked after setting down the last bowl. “Maybe a little bit,” Bobby replied. “Do we have any soda in the fridge right now?” Gideon walked over to the fridge and opened it. “Looks like yer last can of orange soda is in here. Ah’ll need ta put some of the soda ah bought in the fridge if ya want anythin’ else.” “Actually, that works just fine for now. Mahalo, Gid.” Gideon nodded and retrieved the can of soda before bringing it to the table. He poured himself some tea, then did the same for Travis before sitting down. “Ah hope yer hungry.” “I am, Gid. Very much so.” He reached over and retrieved one of the sandwiches, putting it on the small plate in front of him beside the soup. “It smells great.” “Go ahead and start eating, then, Bobby,” Travis commented. “We don’t want to make you late for your afternoon classes. “Heh... There’s nothing to worry about there. I only have one more class today, and that’s not for a couple hours. Besides, I want to enjoy my meal,” Bobby told the ferret, as he took a spoonful of the soup into his muzzle. “Mmm. Delicious... So... how have things been downstairs today?” “Not too bad. Papa came by again, but, this time, it was just ta get somethin’ he ordered,” Gideon told him. “Oh?” “Yeah. He wanted one of mah blueberry pies. Mama offered some of the one she had at her house, and it made him want one fer himself,” the fox said with a laugh before he started eating as well. “Well, your blueberry pies ARE pretty amazing, Gid,” Travis commented as he ate. This made the fox smile before he spoke up again. “What other classes do ya have today?” “I’ve got a class on English Literature once I get back, then another cooking class, but that’s it for today,” Bobby told him. “That’s not too bad,” the fox replied. “Nope,” Bobby remarked as he kept eating. “And when I’m done, I can come back and help here.” He paused for only a moment, but resumed speaking right when it looked like Gideon was about to chime in. “And no, Gid, I’m not just going to sit down and relax while I’m home. I planned my classes specifically so I could make time to help with work. It is still my job, and I’m not going to blow that off.” Travis snickered when he saw Gideon shake his head and laugh. “Besides, I love working with you. You should know that,” the porcupine added. “Ah know that. Ah just don’t want ya ta overdo it,” the fox replied. “Trust me, Gid. I won’t. If I ever feel like I can’t handle both, I promise I’ll say something,” he said as he finished his food, doing so at about the same time as the other two had. “That was delicious, guys. Mahalo for lunch.” “Yer welcome,” Gideon commented. “I’m glad you enjoyed it,” Travis added. “I did. Very much.” As Bobby cleaned up his dishes from lunch, he fell silent. When he finished, however, he turned to look at Travis. “Hey, Travis. I have a stupid question.” “What is it, Bobby,” the ferret asked. “I realize this is going to be coming out of nowhere, but could I get your dad’s phone number from you,” the porcupine asked in return. Travis raised a brow at this but shrugged. “I don’t see why not. Is anything wrong?” “Nah. I just want to ask him about something. That’s all,” the porcupine told him. “Did you want to do that now?” Bobby nodded. “If that’s okay with you. I still have some time before I have to go back to the college, so I want to get it out of the way.” The ferret shrugged again, but he gave Bobby his dad’s number. “Does it have anything to do with what you learned when Tyler was here?” “Sort of,” Bobby commented. “I just wanted to check with him about something. Mahalo, Travis. I’ll be right back.” He gave both Gideon and Travis a quick kiss and ducked out of the apartment, heading to the hallway near the elevator before he dialed. A few seconds later, there was a voice on the other end. “Hello. Charles Bailey speaking. How can I help you?” “Hello, sir,” Bobby said. “I’m sorry it’s taken this long for me to actually speak with you. I’m Bobby Thornbody, Travis and G...” Charles cut him off with a laugh. “Travis and Gideon’s mate. I was wondering when I’d finally get the chance to speak with you.” Bobby gave a soft chuckle himself. “Yeah. Again, I’m sorry about that.” “Don’t worry about it, Bobby. How can I help you?” “I had a couple questions I wanted to ask you, regarding Travis,” Bobby told him. “Alright, then. Go for it,” Charles replied. “I was wondering... were you ever hoping that Travis would get married?” This made the ferret laugh again. “Not only have I been hoping for it, I already know what I’ll get him as a wedding gift, the day it happens. Why?” “Well... I’ve grown pretty close to Travis over the last five years.” “Made evident by the fact he’s your mate now,” Charles interjected. “Yeah... and... well, I wanted to come to you to ask for your blessing to pursue things further in the future. Not immediately or anything. Just... I love him, sir, and just like with Gideon, I know that that feeling will never change.” “Bobby?” “Uhhh... yes, sir,” Bobby replied nervously. “What part of ‘I’ve been hoping for it’ wasn’t clear,” Charles asked. “I... thought you meant with Gideon,” Bobby commented in response. “Bobby, I don’t think you realize just how much Travis talks about you, do you?” “Wait... what?” “Prior to the last five years, Travis used to talk about how much he loved Gideon, but he could never bring himself to say anything. Then you came into the picture and confessed your love for Gid, and he thought he lost his chance... But then he noticed how sweet and loving you started acting toward him too.” “Go on,” Bobby commented. “In the last five years, Travis has gotten to see the same kind and loving heart in you that he saw from Gideon, and, from what I was told, when you two talked to him about both of you being in love with him while you were at the Zoo, it got him to realize he was in love with both of you too. The fact is, whenever he calls me, he talks about the two of you all the time.” Though he knew Charles couldn’t see it, this made Bobby blush. “I see.” “Bobby, if you really need to hear me say it to make you feel better, then okay. You have my blessing. Even though you only recently became Travis’ mate, you’ve known each other for five years now. If the fact you’re doing this now isn’t a sign you love him, then I don’t know what is.” “Mahalo. I suppose, in hindsight, I should have expected you’d be okay with this. Tyler had the same thought process as you did,” Bobby told him. “Which reminds me... Since you brought up the Zoo, I’ll just outright say it, we had some fun with Tyler at the Zoo last week, and one of the things that came up was how you used to put him in your belly whenever he was stressed out. He mentioned you had a bracelet that gave you magic to allow you to do things like that. Do you have any magic inside that bracelet?” “Nah. It hasn’t had any magic in it in years. That’s why I’m glad I can still have fun with things in the Zoo,” Charles told him. “That makes sense,” Bobby replied. “So, what was your other question,” Charles asked. “Oh! Heh. Well... the other one has to do with something I will probably be doing once I graduate,” Bobby replied. “I’ve given this a lot of thought, and... I’m considering getting magical help to make it so I can have a cub of my own someday.” “And, let me guess, you’re wanting to know my thoughts on that?” “Yeah...” “Frankly, I think the idea is sweet,” the ferret told him. “And, as long as you’ve thought long and hard about it, before actually doing it, I can’t see there being a problem.” Charles paused. “But I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess that the reason you brought it up was because it’s Gid you want to have the cub with, but you also know that, with you three being lovers together, Travis would have to be involved in the decision as well. Am I right?” Bobby went silent for several moments before speaking. “My ORIGINAL plan was to have the cub with Gid... that was before Travis became our mate though. Heh. Now I’m suddenly picturing what a porcupine fox ferret hybrid would look like.” “Well, you’ve got plenty of time to think about it, if you’re waiting until after you graduate. A good plan, actually. I can tell you right now, you do NOT want to try raising a kid while you’re going to college. I had a friend that attempted that, and it made his life difficult,” Charles told him. “I don’t want to put myself through that. I just wanted to ask and see what your thoughts were about it,” Bobby told him. “Sorry for the weird questions.” “Actually, I’m glad you called and talked to me. The fact you took my feelings into account means something to me, Bobby,” Charles told him. “I do have one question, though. Are you planning to propose soon? Is that why you wanted to talk to me about it?” “No. I’m not quite ready to do that just yet. Yes, it’s nice to know I have your blessing when I finally decide I’m ready, but I want to get through college before I do that too,” Bobby told the ferret. “Bobby?” “Hm?” “You’re lying,” Charles said, bluntly. “Wha?” “You DON’T want to wait. I can hear it in your voice,” the ferret commented. “That’s the reason you called. If you really intended to wait, then you wouldn’t be asking for my blessing now. You’d have waited until you were ready. The fact you’ve asked for it tells me you want to.” “How do you know that?” “Because I did the same thing when I decided I wanted to propose to my wife. I only came to her father when I was ready to ask for her hand in marriage,” Charles told him. “Now... can you honestly say you really want to wait?” Bobby fell silent after that. He didn’t speak for almost a minute. “Bobby?” “No... No, I can’t honestly say that I want to,” Bobby admitted. “You’re right. But... there’s one more fur I need to talk to before I even consider going forward with it.” “Then you’d better call her,” Charles replied. “Yeah, I sh... Wait... How did you...” Charles laughed. “You mentioned Tyler, but you didn’t mention Amanda, and I know the two of them aren’t together anymore. It makes sense that you’d want to get approval from them both.” “Yeah... I should do that. I should get that done before I have to head back to the college. Especially if I plan to move things forward.” “Get to it, then,” Charles told him. “Take care. It was nice talking to you.” “Same here. Take care.” Bobby then hung up. He took a deep breath then dialed Amanda’s number. A couple rings later, Amanda answered. “Bobby! How are you, sweetheart?” Bobby spoke with a smile on his face. “I’m doing fine, Amanda. I had some time before I needed to head back to the college for my next class, so I wanted to call and ask you about something regarding Gideon.” “Oh? Is everything alright,” sha asked. “Everything’s fine. I wanted to ask... If I said I wanted to propose to Gideon, would you object to that?” “That depends,” Amanda replied. “On?” “It depends on if you’d be waiting until after you’re done with college before you try and have a child with him,” she said, calmly. Bobby’s eyes grew. “W... Wait a second... How did you...” Amanda giggled. “I got a pretty good read on you the day we met, Bobby. I could tell, that day, that you loved Gideon enough that it was something you were thinking about. You also just confirmed that you are going to college now.” “Yeah...” “So...” “I have no intention of bringing a child into the world while I’m in college. That, I can assure you,” Bobby told her. “Good. Neither of you needs that stress.” “Right,” Bobby agreed. “That being the case, no. I would not object to it. Tyler told me you talked to him about it already, and he said you’d probably be calling me at some point too.” Bobby laughed. “I’m glad you two are still on friendly terms, despite not being married anymore.” “As am I. He’s a sweet man. Even if we’re not married anymore, that still remains true,” Amanda replied. “Anyway, are you planning to propose soon?” “I wasn’t, originally, but I just had a talk with Travis’ dad, and he got me to admit that I really DON’T want to wait, despite saying that I did.” “Well, you have my support whenever you decide to do it,” the vixen told the porcupine. “But I expect to be told when you have the wedding date decided.” “Oh, don’t worry. You will be,” Bobby told her. “I wouldn’t want you to miss that.” “Very good,” Amanda commented. “Hey, Amanda?” “Yes?” “Mahalo. Now that I’ve talked to everyone, I guess I have some more stuff to plan out,” Bobby commented. “Indeed, you do,” she said. “And you should probably finish getting ready for your classes, so I’m going to let you go. Take care of yourself.” “I will. Aloha, for now.” “Bye, Bobby,” the vixen commented before the phone hung up. With a smile on his face, Bobby rejoined Gideon and Travis. “What’s got ya in such a good mood all of a sudden, Bobby,” Travis asked. “I got the answer to something I needed to ask about,” Bobby told him. “It’s something I’ve been thinking about for a while now.” “Yeah?” Gideon looked at him. “Plannin' on lettin' us know what that is?" "Not just yet. It's a surprise, but I promise it will be worth the wait," Bobby told them. "Anyway, I need to head out for the rest of my classes. I'll be back a little later, okay?" The other two walked up to the porcupine, giving him a quick hug and a kiss before Gideon splok up. "Ah hope ya enjoy the rest of yer classes." "Heh, I'm sure I will, Gid. Love you guys. Aloha for now," the porcupine said before making his way out. The next several hours were spent with Bobby attending his afternoon classes. As he was leaving his last class and heading to his car, Bobby heard a voice call out to him. “Bobby!” The porcupine turned around, finding Jaguar running over to him. “Oh! Aloha, Jaguar! How has the rest of your day been going?” “It’s been fine. I’ve got one more class I’ll be heading to soon, but I saw you heading to your car, and I wanted to ask you about something,” Jaguar told him. “Oh? What’s that,” Bobby asked. “Uhh... Do you have any plans this evening,” the cat asked. “Not really. I mean, other than going home and having dinner, while spending time with my boyfriends, why?” Jaguar rubbed his neck, looking nervous. “Do you think you could meet me at the Zoo later... Like around seven tonight?” Bobby snickered. “I’ll need to see what Travis and Gid wanna do about dinner first, but I don’t think that should be a problem.” “Great! I mean... uhh... thanks...” Jaguar gave a nervous chuckle. “No problem. We should probably exchange phone numbers, though, just in case I can’t come for any reason.” “Oh! Yeah, good idea,” the cat pulled his cell out, with Bobby doing the same, before the two of them put each other’s numbers into their phones. “I’ll talk to you later. Sorry for keeping you from leaving.” “No problem, Jaguar. Talk to you later,” Bobby replied before getting back in his car. He drove home and made his way up to the apartment, stepping inside. "I'm home, guys." Both Gideon and Travis were quick to come over when they heard his voice. “Hey, hun. How was the rest of yer day,” Gideon asked. “It went fine. No major problems, thankfully. I do have some reading I need to get in for some homework, though. I know I told you guys I would help out today, but...” "Don't worry about it, hun. Travis and ah had a feelin' ya would be really busy today, and things have been pretty slow anyway. We can take care of it. Just get yer homework done," Gideon told him. "Alright," Bobby said. “I’ve got a question, though. Do you guys already have dinner decided tonight?” Travis shook his head. “Not yet. Why?” “I was wondering... Do you think we could have dinner at the Zoo tonight? Jaguar wants to meet up for a bit, and I figured, if we have dinner there, it would also save us having to cook anything,” Bobby told them. “Ah don’t see why not,” Gideon commented. “Cool. I’m gonna get my reading done then. He said he wanted to meet around seven, if that was okay.” Gideon shrugged. “Works fer me. Travis?” “I don’t mind that at all.” Bobby smiled. “Alright. I’ll let you guys know when I’m done with my reading. Wanna get that out of the way before we do anything else.” “Good plan,” Gideon commented. Bobby nodded, headed over to the couch, took off the backpack he had with his books in it, and pulled out the one he needed. He immediately started reading, and he was seen taking notes every few minutes as well. He did this for the next two hours before finally closing the book. “There. All done.” “Great,” Travis commented. “Are you feeling hungry yet?” “Yeah, I kinda am. I’m gonna call Jaguar and let him know we’re heading there for dinner and that we can meet afterward.” “Sounds like a plan,” Gideon commented. Bobby did exactly that. Pulling out his cell, he called Jaguar, telling him they were heading for the Zoo for dinner and that he could meet for some fun afterward. Once he had finished the call. They all got in Bobby’s van and Bobby drove to the Zoo. When they got inside, Bobby greeted Tidus, who was standing up front with a smile. "Aloha, Tidus." "Hey, Bobby. How are you?" "Doing okay," he told the horse. "Had my first day of classes, and we decided we wanted to have dinner here, because I'm gonna meet someone here afterward." "Ah," Tidus nodded. "Well, go on in, then. Have fun." "Heh. Always do, Tidus." Bobby walked over, giving the horse a hug before heading into the lobby, with the others following behind him. He then walked to the food counter, where both Larry and Gary were talking to each other. “Aloha, guys.” “Hey, Bobby. How are you today,” Larry asked, turning to look at him. “Doing pretty good actually. We decided to come by for dinner because I’m gonna meet with someone afterward.” “You mean Jaguar, right?” Larry smiled. “He’s over there eating too, actually.” He pointed over to a table where the cat was indeed sitting there eating something. “Guessing he mentioned me,” Bobby asked. “Mmhmm,” Larry replied with a nod. “He said he was hoping you two might haev some fun together.” Bobby laughed. “Yeah... Anyway, can I get some nachos, please? And some orange soda.” “Mmhmm. Sure can.” Larry looked to the two, getting what they wanted too, before walking over to the cabinet in the wall, and individually retrieving the different orders for the three of them. “HEre we go. Nachos and an orange soda for Bobby. Spaghetti and an ice tea for Travis. And a cheeseburger and coffee for Gid.” “Thank you,” they all three said at the same time. “Where do you guys want to sit,” Bobby asked, turning to Gideon and Travis. “Let’s see if Jaguar would want some company. You’re gonna be spending time with him afterward anyway, right,” Travis commented. “Good point. Come on,” Bobby replied, walking over to where the cat had been sitting. “Aloha, Jaguar.” “Hm? Oh!” The cat turned to look at the porcupine. “Hey!” “Mind if we sit with you?” “Not at all,” Jaguar told him. “Please do.” The three all sat down with their food. As the four of them ate and chatted, Gideon and Travis couldn’t help noticing that Bobby and Jaguar seemed to be eating rather quickly. Lowering his voice to a whisper, Travis spoke to Gideon. “Looks like those to are eager to play.” “Looks that way, but who says those two are gonna be the only ones playin’,” Gideon whispered back with a smirk. Travis blushed a bit and squirmed in his seat. “N... Noted.” After finally finishing off his food, Jaguar turned to the porcupine. “I have a question.” Bobby swallowed the food that was in his muzzle before speaking. “Hm?” “I’m curious... You’ve got two mates, and yet you don’t mind helping others out when it comes to having fun here. Why is that,” the cat asked. Bobby laughed. “I’ve been asked this question a lot, actually. The truth of the matter is, I just enjoy making my friends happy. Yeah, it usually involves things of a sexual nature, but, considering I’ve known most of the people here for years now, I know I can trust them.” “And Travis and ah feel the same way. Besides, at the end of the day, the three of us are still together. We love each other, and trust each other, so we know there’s nothin’ ta worry about,” Gideon added. “Right. Honestly, Bobby’s one of the most trustworthy furs we’ve ever met. We’ve learned to trust that, if he’s doing something with someone, it’s because he’s thought it through, and he knows that it won’t end badly,” Travis commented. “I have to admit, that’s really quite sweet,” Jaguar remarked. “If you don’t mind me asking, is there anyone special in YOUR life, Jaguar,” Bobby asked. “Nah. I’m not really looking to get into a relationship right now,” the cat told him. “Not that I’d turn away anyone that might be interested, but, right now, there just isn’t any desire to go looking.” “Nothin’ wrong with that,” Gideon told him. “Bein’ single ain’t a bad thing, as long as yer happy.” “Right,” Bobby commented. With those words, Bobby finished the last of what was on his plate before leaning back and patting his full belly. “Mmm... Okay, all full.” Jaguar nodded. “Same here.” “Ah’m guessin’ yer gonna take off fer some fun now?” “As long as that doesn’t bother you guys,” Bobby replied. Gideon chuckled. “Doesn’t bother me one bit.” “Me either,” Travis told him. “Go on. Have fun.” Bobby stood, walked over to where Gideon and Travis were, then hugged and kissed them both, after they stood. “I love you guys.” “We love ya too,” Gideon replied. “Now, go on. We’ll see ya back at the apartment later.” “Right,” Bobby smiled then looked at Jaguar. “Shall we?” “Sounds good to me,” Jaguar commented. The two of them gathered up their mess, cleaning things up, before making their way to the hallway. Bobby then led Jaguar to his room, which he unlocked and stepped inside, with the cat following right behind him. He then shut the door. “There we go... Now, you’ve got me all to yourself... What’s the plan?” Jaguar looked at Bobby while shifting on his feet with a smile.
