Patty sat in the examination room with a sigh. Her clothing hung on a rack nearby as she wore a gown one would wear if they were visiting a doctor. Patty wasn't exactly the richest woman in the world, let alone her city. She had signed up to be part of an experiment group, not that they had explained what the experiments would be, but they promised non-life threatening, but possibly life changing, and even likely life expanding. There were risks, but the money was just too good. The exam room looked just like that of a doctor's office, with the addition of a television in front of where the bed was located. The television was currently turned off and left her in quietness. The door opened to reveal a man that was dressed like a doctor. He had dark blonde hair, blue eyes, and stood almost a foot taller than Patty, but not so tall that he was inhuman. He wore a nametag that simply read 'Jones' on it, an incredibly generic name. "Patty is it? How are you feeling today?" "Fine, a little cold and nervous though." Patty replied. She swung her bare feet over the side of the bed and glanced down at her modest chest with her blue eyes. "I haven't really heard very much about the...this...what is it we're doing?" "People call it many different things." The doctor explained as he held onto a clipboard. "But there is one simple way to explain it. Have you played a video game called 'World of Warcraft'?" Patty raised her head curiously at that. "What does that have to do with this experiment? I haven't really played it, but I've heard of it." "Well, there are probably more forms of media to explain it with, but that is the most popular one." The doctor walked over to his computer, just as a nurse brought in a tray of vials with three needles, and what looked like an iPhone with a USB cord attached to it, but nothing on the other end of that cord. "Anyways, there was something in the game involving gnomes becoming robots. It was a fairly complex process, but seamless. In short, that is what we are trying to replicate, to turn a living human being into a robot. Imagine how much longer an average lifespan will be, and the massive quality of life increase in general." Patty audibly gulped when the doctor mentioned robots, and she saw the various needles. "Is this...is this going to be dangerous?" she could only imagine a Sci-Fi setting with tons of gadgets, gears, and all sorts of operations to convert her gradually in a realistic process that made her shiver with fear. She knew she should have read that damn contract more carefully when she signed up to be experimented on. "The mortality rate is almost 0%." The doctor replied calmly. "Oh, don't get me wrong though, the process was very complex at first, but we've taken as many safety measures as we can. It's like the inventor of cars of planes. Yes they used to be very dangerous, maybe in the case of cars they've become more so, but we've preemptively taken many safety measures. Now then..." The doctor slipped on plastic gloves, and picked up the first of the many needles. The liquid inside the needle looked as if it were made of pure steel. "This is a fairly complex mix, I won't get too much into the details. We will inject you with this, and you will explain what you feel. Should you have any feelings that are alien, we can stop the process before it worsens. The most common side effects in the worst-case scenario if the process is canceled was diarrhea off and on for a week, consisting of silver colored material, but no long lasting effects." The doctor poked Patty with the needle, and injected the liquid. Patty had second thoughts when she heard the doctor talk, but before she could speak up against it, she was reminded about the money, plus the doctor had already started up the process by injecting her. She let out a small yelp when she was injected with a needle, as tiny as it was, and when the doctor was finished, she rubbed the spot. "It...Is it supposed to feel sore and cold?" "The soreness will pass quickly." The doctor set the needle aside. "But the coldness will spread throughout your body. You may also feel a numbing sensation in some spots which is perfectly normal, but if you would so kindly turn to show me the back of your head. There will be one visible change about you, and it will be very hard to see unless I am able to get a look at the spot." Patty was confused at the doctor. The soreness was quick to pass, but the sensation of cold wasn't. She felt as if she were in a refrigerator on the inside. Her insides felt freezing, but her skin felt normal. She felt a strange sensation at the back of her head that tingled with an alien feeling, but it wasn't painful. She turned her head to show the doctor. "Okay...what is it we're looking for exactly?" she asked. She brushed one hand along her hair to get a feel for the back of her head, and while she felt something hard, she couldn't tell what it was. "Give me just a moment and I'll explain it to you." The doctor shuffled around Patty's hair for a moment. While he held her hair up, he grabbed onto the electronic device and the cord. He set the device down on the desk behind Patty, and then Patty could feel a sensation that reminded her of a shot, with two noticeable differences. The obvious first one was that the shot was in the back of her head, she could feel something penetrate her back there. The second difference made her slightly worried. Not only did that thing that penetrate her stay there, there was no pain whatsoever to it, and it didn't even feel sharp with whatever penetrated her. Her heart began to quicken in her cold body. "What- what did you just do?" "The first shot changed part of your body in ways that make the future changes easier to observe via USB cord." The doctor explained casually. "You have a small port for a USB stick now, and now that I've attached this device to it, I should be able to see...ah, there we go. Skeletal structure changed, but little else. The good news is you'll never break a bone again, the bad news is that if this is the only change that happens, your organs will suffer internal damage from lack of body temperature, so we can start fixing that now...we'll start with the stomach and work our way out." Patty was confused. She moved her head, yet she felt the cord still attached to her. The cord wasn't painful, though she couldn't help but reach back to feel the cord, and then to the back of her head. The end of the cord widened slightly, and it felt like a USB entrance. "W-what...?" she stammered. She was cut off by a rumbling in her stomach. It wasn't painful, but she let out a small belch. "The human body is so strange, don't you think? Organs and blood are stuffed to the brim in there...why do you think the intestinal tract is so long anyways? We can make it much shorter." With a chuckle, the doctor continued to make alterations. The next alteration was to her head. "We've got to change one main thing about you though before we continue. I can see your heart rate skyrocketing, and I imagine this is because of fear." The doctor did not help Patty's situation. There was no pain inside of her anymore, but there were lots of strange cold alien sensations inside of her that she couldn't describe. It felt like parts of her were emptying, while other parts shifted and changed. There was a slight buzzing in her head, and that made her frightened enough to pull the cord out from the back of her head. She brought the front of the cord to her face to see with one hand, while her other hand felt the back of her head. The cord had a male USB and nothing else, while the back of her head felt like the female USB. "I have a USB port in the back of my head?!" she stammered with a confused look on her face. She couldn't believe it, but she could feel it. "You're USB compatible, yes." The doctor replied as if it were no big deal. "I've also simplified parts of your organs to make room for more. If we were to stop now, you could still live fairly normally, but anything you ate would digest in roughly ten minutes." The doctor looked down at the device he held that resembled a phone. "Hmm...Ah there you are. Look." The doctor walked to the front of Patty, and unplugged the USB cord from the phone. He showed him the phone's Bluetooth, and how there was an option to connect to something named 'Patty' on it. "We don't need to plug in directly now anyways. But you do need to stay within twenty feet for the device to work properly...it was tempting to give you Wi-Fi, but we don't need you going on the internet." "Bluetooth? Wi-Fi?" Patty looked at the phone with a puzzled expression. The doctor gave her Bluetooth? She couldn't deny that the USB felt really strange, but she thought maybe there was something about the shot that made her delusional. There was no way a person had a USB port in the back of their head, let alone Bluetooth compatibility. "Am I unconscious or something?" "You are very much awake Patty." The doctor pulled the phone screen away from her as he continued to make changes. "Now, there are many different kind of robots out there in the world. We're going to make you entirely into that of one, but you will look almost entirely human. There are some features that I'd like to have that human parts simply cannot keep...let's see...oh your brain is almost done changing. Are you familiar with the hard drive of a computer? Well, your brain is almost all like that now. Let's test it...Patty, store your human files into one folder named 'PATTY_OLD'." The doctor ordered. Patty still had no idea where the doctor was doing with this, but when she heard the command, part of her head felt as if it clicked with newfound life. Her head picked up the image of a computer screen, and she watched as there was a file made on the desktop named 'PATTY_OLD' right there. Patty could not get rid of the image of the desktop in her head, no matter what else she tried to think about. "What...what is this?" she knew she had asked so many questions before, but now she couldn't erase this thought from her head, no matter how much she tried. "It's pretty complicated, so I'll access those files for you." The doctor tapped on his screen, and as he did, he moved the mouse both on the screen, and in Patty's head. He double clicked the files to open it up, and there he saw hundreds of files. Text, video, screenshots, there were so many files it was unbelievable that such a thing could be stored away. "This has a few hundred gigabytes worth of information. There are memories and thoughts in here that humans forget, but robots don't forget. They just move it to the recycling bin." Patty took deep, if panicked, breaths as she saw the mouse move on its own, and then access the file. She could see so many different files and names inside that not even she could believe it. She saw files containing her birthdays, her time as an infant, it was as if she had just developed a case of hyperthymesia. All she had to do was to click on those files and she would know every detail about her life. "D-don't look in there! All of that is personal!" she wasn't sure HOW he was in her head, but she wanted him out. "I-I want out of this experiment!" "It's too late to go back now." The doctor explained calmly. "Even if we stopped, you'd still have the few other changes we have about you and we can't undo them. We can turn flesh to metal, but turning metal to flesh? Now that's science fiction." The doctor continued experimenting around. "Let's try modifying a file here...you told me you were 37 years of age, correct?" "Y-yes?" Patty was hesitant to reply as she saw the mouse move around in her head. She watched as the mouse right clicked a file and opened up all of her personal information in one single file. It was as if she had been hacked. Her full name, her address, her phone number, her social security number, it was all accessible in one big file that the doctor read. "While the physical changes finish up, I'm going to make more modifications in here, a simple one." The doctor changed a few numbers. He raised one, and lowered another. "Now, how old are you?" Patty felt as if she had just been asked a stupid question. She replied 37 not moments ago, yet suddenly, that answer felt wrong. She could feel him edit and alter her files, increase the year she was born, and decrease her overall age. She wasn't a 37 year old woman, she was 21! Yet, if that were true, why did she have 37 years' worth of memories? It didn't feel right. At the same time, she was reminded about her body. The sensation of coldness had long passed. She still felt bizarre, but in ways she couldn't explain. She didn't look any different on the outside, but she knew she had changed drastically on the inside. "Patty?" the doctor asked again. "What is your age? Just tell me the age you think is right." "You changed something that makes me think I'm 21, but I know I'm older because I have 37 years of memories, and the body that doesn't exactly scream 'I'm super young!' Patty answered with a tone that sounded as if she had just been insulted. She turned her head to the doctor. "What else is there you have to test? This is getting on all sorts of levels of creepy." "You have the memories of a 37 year old, but there are two things we need to test before we are finished here. Well, three. All of these things are very simple. First..." the doctor created a notepad and titled it 'FETISHES' "I'm going to type in some things on here. Let me know how much you would like to sexually do them, on a scale of one to ten." The doctor then added the first word to it, 'anal'. Patty wasn't sure what the doctor was doing. It was all sorts of bizarre that, not only was she stuck with this mental image of a computer, but the doctor was messing with that mental image of a computer. She was never into anal, she couldn't see the appeal in such forms of sex. "What does sexual things have to...oh..." Patty paused as the idea of anal suddenly...turned her on. Such a fetish was something she didn't want to openly admit, it was a fetish after all, no point being so open about it, but the thought of having a cock up her ass suddenly felt a lot more tempting to her than it did a few moments ago. "I...eight on a scale of one to ten." She lied. It was a perfect ten out of ten, it was a hole she wanted to try more than her cunt. "I see...how about..." The doctor then typed in 'exhibitionism' onto the notepad. Patty felt the new fetish hit her like a ton of bricks. She felt a bit uncomfortable in her gown that the hospital provided. Part of her just wanted to shed that and display herself for the doctor. Maybe I'll get to ride his co- wait...he can see my thoughts, can he read what I'm thinking too?! She thought to herself. The doctor chuckled as Patty's thoughts were not only picked up by his device, but spoken out loud as if it were a text-to-speech translation. "Sexual desires are a normal part of when new kinks are added. You may notice that you are not getting...wet between your legs though. Part of this is because you are almost completely changed internally. Many of your organs have been simplified or removed. You don't even need to breathe anymore! You still do have the vital organs such as lungs and heart, they have just been modified to function differently, a bit too much to go into detail though." Patty was too afraid to ask how much she had changed. She had to admit she felt different in ways she couldn't describe inside of her. She felt lighter, that was about it. "What about my skin?" she looked at her skin, and blinked. She wondered if she even had to blink as well! She held her breath out of curiosity and didn't blink, and while she did so, she noticed she didn't feel that urge to need to blink, nor did she need to breathe. It wasn't that she couldn't do either things, it was that she didn't need to, though her human instincts to WANT to kept her doing it. "It has become a combination of latex and other materials. You might notice you lack body hair on it. Even the hair on your head has become that of a wig." The doctor smiled. "It was a pretty seamless process, don't you think? Just like that, you're a robot physically, and mentally. You can still blend in so easily with humankind, however you won't bleed blood, and you'll always be setting off the metal detectors at the airport." If it wasn't science fiction before, Patty swore it was now. She looked at her fingertips and noticed how perfect her skin looked. It wasn't that she had perfect skin though. It was that her skin was made out of a material that looked like perfect skin, something that stretched throughout her head to toe with small differences in her vagina and anus, something she couldn't place. I don't have to use the bathroom anymore, do I? She thought to herself. "Never again." The doctor answered. "But..." The doctor closed out of the program, and set the device aside. "There is another part to this experiment, and that is for you to change yourself physically, and mentally. I gave you the birth year of a 21 year old, but you still look, and act 37. Change your mindset, get rid of any memories that even make you think you're 37. Delete 16 years' worth of memories of you must." "Acknowledged. Processing." Patty replied in a monotone voice. Patty didn't even realize what she said, nor could she control herself from saying it. Suddenly, she found that same image in her head, but it was rapidly moving like a computer using the desktop. She watched as memories were deleted and dates on other files were changed. "N-no! Stop!" She shouted, but to no avail. It was hard to recall her years after college. She remembered her job, but now she could only remember a few years of working it while she was still in college. She soon had the mindset, and knowledge, of that of a 21 year old. "F-fuck!" "We will get to testing that in a moment." The doctor said casually. "I'm assuming the process worked, but now you need to change your body. This is the physical test. Alter and transform your body to look like a 21 year old." Patty wanted to deny the doctor. She wasn't sure how transforming physically was even possible, even if he claimed she had the body of a robot. She could feel gears turn and fans spin inside of her though. She gasped as she looked down at her body. Her belly pulled itself inwards, and her slightly saggy breast perked up with newfound life. The tiredness in her eyes faded, and her skin took on a new sheen of perfection, and her hair lowered as it changed, despite being just a wig, she was able to even change that somehow. The changes were minor to her body, but she soon had the body of a 21 year old. She couldn't even remember being her original age anymore, but she knew she used to be older. "Good." The doctor smiled at Patty. "You can be changed mentally and physically. These were just a few minor demonstrations as to what can be done. In truth, there can be so many more things done to your body, but now we have to test your stamina. I think the best way for that is to have some fun, don't you?" The doctor sat down on the bed next to her. "And since you take things so literal...well, fuck me." Patty couldn't even question the orders anymore. She was a robot, and like a robot, she was going to obey. "Yes...master." she spoke with only minor hesitation. She dropped her hospital gown from her body, and went to work on obeying another order. She knew there was going to be so much more, but as a robot now, she couldn't draw any emotions about it, not unless she was ordered to do so. She was a thing now, and until she was told otherwise, she was his personal plaything.
