But the young wolfess became increasingly frustrated not just by her lack of progress, but also the very perilous situation she found herself in. The female sniper was searching for a band of outlaws scavenging dangerous weapons left behind after the Eggman War, when she was ambushed and surrounded by the same bandits. Before she could be taken captive however, Whisper managed to send away her Wisps, carrying with them the location and a distress message. The bandits had already been in control of an advanced cloaking technology, which allowed them to get the drop on the experienced scout before the she had a chance. Their hideout turned out to be a mobile base concealed by the same technology, explaining how they were able to avoid detection after all those years. Unfortunately, this also meant by the time any help arrives the group would be long gone from the scene. Stripped of her remaining gear, Whisper was taken to an underground facility far away, where she regularly faced intense interrogation and mistreatment by her captors, trying to force her to reveal where to find more weapons and how to use them. It did not matter whether Whisper knew or not—unsatisfactory answers resulted in torture, and silence led to even harsher punishments. Shackled and suspended upside-down by her ankles, Whisper was kept in an old drainage well that had seen better days. An array of smaller pipes surrounded her, with a small stream of water exiting from each one. Because she could not see the bottom of the well, Whisper thought she had time to think of a way out of her perdicament. But the more Whisper struggled, the tighter her rope bondage became, pinching painfully into her fur with each twists and turns. Not only that, a length of rope tucked between her legs dug in deeper with each twists and turns, eliciting disheartened moans through the thick ballgag harness bound just as tight around her head. With the constant distractions taking away her focus, Whisper failed to notice the rapidly-rising pool of water until she suddenly felt the tip of her hair getting wetter. Whisper let out a muffled yelp as she looked down, only to be stared back into the face by her own look of sheer panic reflecting off the rippling pool. A wave of despair tore down what remained of Whisper's determination as water droplets splashed all over her face. How did the water reach so high already?! What looked like a small trickle now seemed like massive waterfalls mercilessly beating down on her, and she swore she felt the chain also loosening up bit by bit, dipping the wolfess into the water inch by inch. Whisper's struggles grew more frenzied with the water now reaching up to her ears, but this only caused the rope to aggressively saw back and forth into her crotch. Unable to resist any longer, the wolfess howled through the gag as a shockwave of ecstasy racked her exhausted body.
