This is something that I have wanted to do for a long time because I have never seen a clear example of furry anatomy, therefore I made this art for educational purposes of how you can recognize the types of anatomy that can exist in the furry fandom based on human anatomy.
Although the most common types of anatomy that everyone uses are Anthro and Semianthro, but of course, they are not the same, both are very different since Anthro has more respective anatomical features to the animal than to the human, it is notable because they have a cranial, facial and corporal composition more inclined to the animal but from the body they have mostly similarities of the animal but keeping with the basic structure of a human, what distinguishes the most is its digitigrade legs and paws with hands that can vary between 4 or 5 fingers that have beans or not, there are not many variations apart from the common ones such as the color of the coat, eyes and any other part of the body and hair. While a Semianthro is more of a balanced mix between an anthropomorphic and a human, although they do not have as much animal trait as the anthros, one could say that they are slightly reduced and they have the plantigrade type with feet, there are variations where both the hands and feet can have 4 or 5 fingers respectively, there are also cases that the feet have 3 fingers and less depending on the type of animal or any other reason and they can have paws and beans.
Also Semiferal and Feral, for example Feral are anatomically correct to the respective animal with no significant changes except for any unnatural changes such as fur and hair color. While the Semiferal are relatively similar to the Feral except that they have the ability to walk on two legs, it could be said that they are slightly differentiated anatomically and the properties would be the same depending of a logical reason or any other reason.
On Semihumans it is a very inferior trait to even be considered Semianthro as up to 80% of the body is fully human and the only animal traits would be the ears, eyes, tail and maybe part of the arms and legs depending its logical reasons or any other reason.
It is clear that all these anatomies have variations depending on what one decides for taste or comfort and that there is no real logic to be able to limit them, it's just a basic idea of what it is like.
I want to conclude that this is more than anything a vision that I perceive with my own criteria as to how the anatomy of the furry fandom is distributed, I only give my opinion but everything is up to what you think. :)
