  "description": "A new influence map favoring 2016-2022\n\nI attempted a write-up for each image, but underestimated how big an emotional ask that was on myself, and gave up after 90 minutes, half finished. Maybe I'll include it as a journal entry one day.\n\nWhat I notice, each time I do these \"inspiration inventory exercises\" is how I'm almost never influenced by my experiences with people, or actual human interaction (at least positively). Just a sad collection of \"here are highly abstracted concretizations of human expressions I encountered, and desperately clung to, to make absolute emotional isolation from others bearable\" even though I'd probably give the real-life actualization of these values in my personal life a wide berth, for fear of ship wrecking myself on to an island of people I don't jell with, like at all--we just had \"similar interests\" which inevitably prove to be a poor metric to judge if we'll get along.\n\nFor example, that I don't have exclusively positive things to say about things I love, or that my passion for something is as much elation at bringing my 'fight' to it, like going to a dojo with martial arts hit-it equipment (or whatever it's called, lol) Like, only [b]I[/b], in my try-hard cerebral masochism, would think to include a \"negative\" influences on an influence map (don't try to guess which is which, or to what proportion, 'cause you'll get it wrong). It's not even either/or segments; it's mixed. I hope this was very confusing to read. That's the emotion tenor I swim in when I'm forced to examine my passions; appreciation is always escorted by resentment, especially over the course of my life \"ending up like this\" as a not-quite queer artist.\n\nI notice only 5 other users have uploaded an influence map... Hope I'm not breaking some unstated rule. I'd gladly \"go off\" about anything I put on the map, but to preface whatever sus'ness is raising your eyebrow concerning my rambling above: I don't have anything against people I don't know, and I don't know any of the living artist on the map in person, so chill. This is just the affectation of a highly critical person, who probably secretly loves ya :)",
