Anytime he something wrong, he never received any real punishment for his actions.\n\nI never read the Princess Sally comics, so I know nothing about that whole fake Sally ordeal.\n\nLater on, he pressured Elias into bad decision after bad decision. He had Sonic's knighthood revoked. \"But Sonic stole the Sword of Acorns.\" True, but after Sonic's knighthood was revoked, you can Geoffrey smiling in the background. That was not the smile of someone thinking that justice had been served, it was the smile of someone who believed that he finally gotten rid of his rival.\n\nAround that same time, he managed to replace the Freedom Fighters with his Royal Secret Service. By trying to take on missions that Sonic and his team were accustomed to, he nearly got his entire team killed in the process because of his ego.\n\nEventually, Geoffrey's influence was too much for Elias, which pressured him into self-exile.\n\nApparently Hershey went MIA and was presumed dead. And this was enough for Geoffrey to fall back into his old ways.\n\nHe tricked Sonic into winning a Chaos Emerald from the Special Zone. He then shocked him, stole the emerald, and left him strained there. Afterwards, he gave the emerald to Ixis Naugus, restoring his mental state and granting him even more power.\n\nBut that wasn't enough.
