a week ago I ended up having some weird bad dreams which I could only really describe to my friends as being CJ's nightmares. It was really odd to me, but it was brought on by something reasonable that I won't get into right now, and they bothered me to the point where I just wanted to get up and blow off some negative energy by drawing. I guess I just thought it felt necessary to draw her getting comforted after waking up from a bad nightmare. It wasn't too disturbing for me, since I wasn't the subject, but since it was her in the dream... I imagine it'd be that rare occasion where an adult had a dream bad enough they just had to get up and couldn't go back to sleep. \n\nLuckily for CJ she has a big, strong chest to cry into and an equally big and strong pair of arms to wrap around her and make her feel safe when that happens. \n\nThis is the first time I've posted a picture of CJ's childhood/best friend and boyfriend, Garrett. (Though on the one V-day picture, you may have spotted his name.) It's also the first picture I've finished of him. \n\nIn fact this picture would have been my first picture in a long while to be one that took me under a week if it weren't for the fact that I was having a hard time getting Garrett's colors right.
