Hey, that’s kind of a cute pose. And then LilShock comes along and is like “Your gonna do something with that, right?” and I’m like “Not…really?” and he gave me a look like “Listen dumbass….” so I did something with it. In fact, I went all out. This is as good as I can render a figure. All my tricks, while learning some new brushes. I don’t get any better than this. And I’m actually happy with how she came out. Sure, some things need some work and maybe it’s over-rendered in a few places but that’s what learning what your limits is all about, right?. Now I know the areas I need to work on, and I’m going to do a few “pin up” type character only pieces and maybe, MAYBE if I can do them in a reasonable amount of time (this one took two months…:( ) I might start taking commissions again. So who’s Quill lookin at? Dunno. She’s at a Journeymen’s retreat for blacksmiths (her profession) looking to pick up some new tricks from some masters. Maybe she ran into an old flame, maybe she took a shine to someone there. Either way, it looks like she’ll be putting her scheduled time with the forge to other uses.
