``Happy Birthday Zuma!''
That's what the pup heard multiple times today, even as the street lights began to flick around Adventure Bay. A friendly face or grateful citizen would cheer on the chocolate lab as he drove in his hovercraft. Zuma giving a gentle wave or nod in return. Some would even giggle at the sight of the other pup that sat behind him. His gray snout pointed just over the side of the hovercraft. Letting his tongue hang out as the cool night air dried his semi-soaked fur. Zuma laughed at Rocky being such a dog right now.
``Dude, what are you doing? Hehehe!''
``Whhaat? The air feels great!'' Rocky said with his mouth still open. His tongue flopping about in the wind. Zuma shook his head and kept his attention on the road.
The best friends turned boyfriends had quite the day. Their whole team had come together to do whatever Zuma wanted for his birthday. For him it was an easy guess, some pancakes at Mister Porter's cafe, followed by windsurfing out on the bay. Then some deep-sea diving with Cap'n turbot and the other pups. All coming to an end at the lookout with some pup friendly cake and plenty of treats. Speaking of treats, Zuma was getting spoiled rotten with the amount of affection Rocky was giving him. The mixed breed sneaking in plenty of kisses and cuddles in between all the fun.
Of course, The love between the two blossomed into some teasing here and there. Nothing too obvious in front of others. Most Rocky had done today was lean in to sniff at Zuma's rear when they came back from diving. The lab had to hide how flustered he was. Marshall winced with every bump he felt on the road towards Rocky's garage. He was surprised by a very early morning rescue. Poor Cail ended up in a tall tree which had Katie call him directly for help. Marshall was happy to go alone, Leaving the remaining pups at the lookout to sleep. Upon the rescue being done, Marshall had not taken a turn wide enough and stuck one of his tires against some roughly paved sidewalk. Gashing it and causing air to leak out slowly. Luckly he knew he wasn't too far from Rocky's garage. Even better, he remembered that Rocky and Zuma had stayed there last night too. He could swing by and get a quick patch. Maybe even have some breakfast with his friends. As he approached the garage though, He didn't see Rocky or Zuma out and about. Parking his firetruck, he jumped out and began to investigate.
``Rocky! Zuma! You both around here?''
The dalmatian noticed the garage door cracked slightly open. Curious he looked between the gap and peered inside.

He scrambled backwards and fell on his rear. The first thing that caught him was the smell. It knocked him off his paws and made him choke. He recognized it anywhere. Especially whenever he and Chase had some privacy together. It was the smell of puppy love making and it was strong. He ducked his head down through the gap again. With that, he jumped back into his firetruck and slowly made his way back to the lookout. It was going to be a bumpy trip back, but he figured Ryder could replace the tire for him while Rocky was out. That smell from the garage still lingered in his nose and he suddenly began to think of Chase. While Ryder repaired his tire, perhaps he could visit his boyfriend in his pup house. See that cute German shepherd all tucked in and sleeping soundly. Maybe Marshall could give him a proper morning wake up. Afterall, He loved the way Chase's fur smelled in the morning. Especially in certain areas. The dalmatian felt something begin to stir below his hind legs. Crossing them tight as he drove home.
