Brand new story! I'm super excited about this whopping 17-parter! I do hope this first introduction isn't overly overwhelming. I know there are a lot of names here and they're all pandaren with varying fur patterns, but this is just to get an idea of their basic personalities. The rest of the story will be broken up in 2-4-parters involving various couples and groups of them, and how their Night Crawl goes. In short, this was a way for me to take a bunch of wild ideas and throw them all into one story without overinflating it... I hope!

"writing": "\n\n“This is it! So, who are you guys looking to approach, hmm?”\n\n“Well, Len… I-I was thinking maybe… Malai?” a red-and-white-furred, pandaren male replied nervously. The group of seven were all loafing around the town square that late afternoon. The excitement was palpable among them, but it wasn’t easy to be so patient. It was still a few hours away until nightfall, and the beginning of the Night Crawl.\n\nLen, his mostly-red-furred friend laughed. “Truly? Surely she’s slept with half the males in the village by now, no?”\n\n“Cut it out, Len,” a fully-black-furred companion chided and bonked him on the head. “She is quite pretty, and I respect Kolo for aiming for such a lofty goal… you’ll need some luck.” This prompted a few other snickers among the group.\n\n“A-and what about you, Tanel?” Kolo asked his black-furred friend, ignoring his other friends’ laughs.\n\nTanel closed his eyes reverently. “Mmh… Noaki catches my interest.”\n\nA round of nods came from most of the group. “She’s cute!” added Len. “But not half as cute as Noe. Have you [i]seen[/i] how she looks in a kimono!?”\n\n“She’s craaaaaazy,” piped up the largest member of their group: a massive pandaren who was in the middle of scratching his white-furred belly and flicking his fluffy red tail from side to side. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”\n\nLen shot him a nasty look. “How [i]dare[/i] you speak of my perfect Noe so flippantly?!”\n\n“‘Cause she’s my cousin,” Vohi stated simply. “Just don’t say I didn’t warn ya.”\n\nLen looked like he was about to say something particularly nasty, when a mostly-white-furred pandaren changed the subject. “I heard Zisu is having a sleepover tonight, and I think Ursi and Phi-La are to be there, yes?”\n\n“Easy, Dhan. Ursi is my twin sister,” echoed a soft, albeit stern, voice. The others turned to regard a particularly large, black-and-white-furred male with long, black hair. “She’s off limits.”\n\nDhan blinked a few times and chuckled. “I mean, not [i]really[/i]? All she’s gotta do is say yes, right? That’s not up to me, Ulu!”\n\nUlu grimaced. “I will be coming with you, then. I have heard good things about Phi-La. You are welcome to try your luck with Zisu, but [i]not[/i] Ursi.”\n\nDhan waved a dismissive paw, prompting Ulu to growl.\n\nAt this, Tanel turned toward one of their chubbier friends who had been silent throughout their conversation. His fur was a strange mix of both red and black, and he’d been intently watching his friends chatter excitedly. “You have your heart set on anyone, Joroko?”\n\nWithout a word, Joroko simply shrugged and smiled.\n\n”Well [i]I[/i] for one, think I’m just gonna go home tonight,” interjected Vohi once more. “You guys have fun. Lemme know how things go in the morning.”\n\n“You sure, Vohi? You’ll be missing out,” Len needled through gritted teeth.\n\nVohi simply chuckled. “Mmmh… something tells me I won’t be, call it intuition.”\n\n“Cryptic as ever,” Tanel chimed in and shook his head.\n\nThe other five all exchanged glances and nodded. “Alright then! We’re burning moonlight!” Len declared. “Better get home and get ready. Good luck, guys. Let’s find ourselves some mates!”\n\n\n\n\n\n“Yessssss! Let’s fucking [i]goooo[/i]!”\n\n“Zisu, calm yourself. We have an afternoon between us and the Night Crawl,” Malai assured her friend.\n\nZisu sighed and sunk further into the heated water, hiding much of her unique mixture of black-and-red fur. “Buzzkill. Are you not excited!? You could get laid tonight! And you’re, like, way richer than the rest of us! You’ll be beating off guys with a bo staff!”\n\nMalai let out a dainty laugh and waved a dismissive hand. “Enthusiasm is good, but overenthusiasm may lead to disappointment.”\n\nA wave of whispers went around the gaggle of seven pandaren ladies, all of whom were happily soaking in the restorative hot springs in preparation for the Night Crawl. “And who do you hope to meet tonight, Malai?” chirped a mostly-white-furred pandaren, save for a few spots of black on her ears and cheeks.\n\nMalai giggled. “Is it not improper to kiss and tell, Senisa?”\n\nSenisa shrugged. “Everyone else seems pretty open about it. Maybe Dhan or Len? They’re both pretty well-off, eh?”\n\n“Ooh yeah!” Zisu agreed. “Dhan’s pretty cute! You two would make a good couple!”\n\nMalai’s white-furred cheeks went red. “O-oh, no, no! I hardly know either of them! And their personalities are quite strong for my taste. Frankly, my expectations of the whole thing are rather low. If I choose to think that way, I won’t be disappointed again.”\n\n“So are those of most of the rich guys, but speaking of disappointment,” Zisu needled with a cheeky grin. “Wouldn’t your folks get mad if you ended up with someone like that bumbling Kolo?”\n\nMalai immediately grew angry, but after a moment she forcibly returned to her calm, put-together demeanor. “It is unbecoming to speak ill of [i]anyone[/i]. And Kolo seems perfectly nice. My parents’ opinions are irrelevant.”\n\n“But he’s so [i]quiet[/i] and [i]dirty[/i] with all that farm dirt!” chimed in a mostly-red-furred pandaren. “Not like my Wei-Lo!”\n\nThis brought forth a few laughs. “Wei-Lo is [i]very[/i] loud, Noaki, but I heard that Tanel might have his eye on you, too,” added a particularly plump, red-furred pandaren.\n\n“Bleh!” Noaki blurted and stuck out her tongue. “Don’t mess with me, Noe! I’d rather have your cousin over Tanel, but Wei-Lo is tops. Mmmmh….” Her eyes appeared to glaze over, losing herself in her own, unspoken fantasy.\n\nNoe shook her head absently. “You can have your Wei-Lo, but be kind if Tanel comes. And leave my cousin out of it! Vohi says he’s nice.”\n\n“Vohi is nice, too,” added a black-and-white furred pandaren, seated on the stone-laden edge of the steamy pool with her particularly prominent posterior.\n\nNoe raised an eyebrow. “Got your eye on Vohi, eh Ursi?”\n\nUrsi scoffed. “Fat chance! No I… I’m not particularly picky,” she confessed. “As long as he’s not an ass. Anyone is more or less fair game.”\n\nZisu cackled. “Does that mean Ulu’s up for grabs, too?”\n\n“You leave my twin brother out of this!” Ursi suddenly snapped and splashed down into the pool. “He’s off limits!”\n\n“But he’s of age, just like the others!” Zisu said and shrugged. “I can’t help it if he wants me!”\n\nSenisa suddenly stepped between the two ladies to change the subject. “W-well, what about Joroko? He seems sweet, yeah?”\n\nMalai smiled at this. “You like him? Even if he only speaks with his fingers?”\n\nThis caused Senisa to smile and nod. “Indeed! I’ve been practicing, actually, in case he comes tonight.”\n\n“If you even know he’s coming,” Noaki chimed in with a snide giggle. “I’ve never met another pandaren who could sleep through multiple earthquakes like you could.”\n\nSenisa narrowed her eyes. “That was [i]one time[/i]!”\n\n“Please, let us not fight,” uttered the last of the group: a comparatively small black-and-white pandaren with more curves than belly. “We do not get to choose who approaches us, though we may decline or accept as we please.”\n\n“Well sure, Phi-La,” Malai agreed. “At the end of the day, this is about finding love, yes? What about you?”\n\nPhi-La sank a bit further into the water and exchanged a fleeting glance with Noe. “I… I don’t know. I may just go home and keep my window closed tonight.”\n\nThe entire group looked at their friend quizzically. “Phi, you know you’re really pretty, right?” Ursi added.\n\n“Th-that’s not the point!” Phi-La returned nervously. “I-I have just been working hard lately, that’s all!”\n\nZisu shimmied through the water to sidle up next to her friend. “You’re still coming over tonight, right? You don’t have to stay, but it’d be nice to at least talk until the boys start heading out.”\n\nUrsi nodded in agreement from Phi-La’s other side. “Yeah we haven’t gotten together in ages. It’ll be fun, and there won’t be any boy pressure. Promise.”\n\n“Well, not from you,” Zisu corrected Ursi and giggled.\n\nUrsi hardened her gaze. “Phi-La may do as she pleases… other than touch my brother.”\n\nIt was Malai who stood first, casually uncaring of her own nudity, as it was with all the girls. “H-how about we just let bygones be bygones, hmm? The best of luck for all of us tonight, and for us all to end up happy and satisfied, maybe even in love, yes?”\n\nThis brought forth a round of nods, and the chatter returned to its lighthearted nature amid the steam.",
