This picture contains a lot of emotions for me as it reflects a naive teenage wonder from a time when I was still discovering the furry subculture and what it means to be a furry. It forever embodies my earliest memories of being a furry, and finally finding acceptance for the first time after never really fitting in anywhere before.\n\nBut at the same time, this person started dating me when I was underage and promptly ghosted me a few months after I turned 18. This breakup happened the exact day I moved into my own place for the first time. I was newly estranged from most of my family, due to speaking out against the abuse I had received at home. I cried my eyes out, as I was all alone and wasn't sure what I was going to do.
