I hope you are all fine and healthy. I wrote these lines here, because I wanted to tell you about something very sad. \nBut let us start at the beginning.\n\nIt was one of the last warm days, end of October, the leafs were falling from the trees. It could be so magical. \nWe were sitting in Balto’s room, enjoyed the afternoon with watching Youtube, and also some videos on Livefurs.\n\nBalto yawned, and I smiled on him.\n“Aww, is my doggy tired?”\nA little. Maybe we can do a little walk? I could use some fresh air.”\n“Sure Balto, sounds like a good idea. It seems to get colder every day, so we should use the last warm days to go out”\n\nSo, we took our jackets, and started our walk. We went to a little lake nearby, just about half an hour away from home. We were used to go there as kids, I played with him as I was younger, and he was just a little puppy. Calling him my mate one day, that seemed impossible back then.\n\nWe walked for a long time over the sand, talked about the last months, about me and his mom, the things with Trish, Erin, this raccoon girl Winie from the bathhouse, these two boys we made a sleepover with. It was a lot of dirty stuff, which I don’t want to repeat here.\n\nIt was already pretty late, as my mobile rang. I took it out of my pocket, it was one of my classmates. \n“Damit, I totally forgot that we have that Macbeth rehearsal soon. I don’t have a signal here, I will go over there, just wait here Balto, I try to make it short, my love”\n“Ok Nikki, no problem. I will wait here.”\n\nI walked away, so I could talk with my classmate. \nWhy did I leave him alone? I don’t know. I really don’t know...\nI just heard noises in the back, as I talked on the phone. I came back about 15 Minutes later, Balto was laying in the sand, blood on a nearby rock, and two strangers in sport clothing next to him.\nI shouted loudly towards him:\n“Balto! What happened here? What did you do to him? Balto! Speak with me!”\nI wanted to go close, but one of the strangers held me back. \n\n“You know the boy? We were just jogging here, as we saw him getting beaten by a boy in his age. This guy ran away, as he spotted us. But we could get a good sight on him. We already called an ambulance and the police”\n\nThe stranger held me back the whole time, since I tried it again and again to get closer to my mate.\nI shouted in anger: “Let me to him, he is a friend of mine, I have to help him!”\n\n“Girl, my friend here is a first responder. He is trained in that stuff. Let him help, and try to calm down”\n“How should I calm down? My friend is probably dying there! And you keep me away from him!”\n\nThe guy forced me to sit down, as I heard the sirens in the back.\n“Girl, please calm down now. You can’t help him now. The boy has lost his consciousness, as his head hit that rock there. But he is still breathing. Do you know his mother?”\n\nI didn’t answer him. I was in such a panic. The medics finally arrived at the beach. They put Balto on their stretcher, after they looked at him, and carried him away. I stood up, and was finally able to get closer, just to be stopped again by a police officer.\n\nI then shouted in the direction of the medics: “Where are you taking him? Answer me! How is he? Let me to him!”\nThe officer just held me back.\n“Ma’am, stay back. Let the medics do their job. I need to know from you what happened here”\n\nHe took a piece of paper and a pen out of his pocket, and I started to tell him the story. Well, the part I did know:\n“I only was gone for about 15 minutes, to take an important call from school. I had to go a few steps away, because I didn’t get a signal at the beach. As I came back, he was laying there, blood everywhere, and these two guys there next to him”\n“Ok lady, please try to relax.” \nHe looked up, to another guy in uniform. \n\"Hey Rookie, bring that girl to the car, and try to calm her down a little. Maybe she knows the mother of that boy”\n\nThis guy came closer, and I was surprised to see, that it was Duke.\n“Ma’am, can you please come.... Nikki?”\nThe older officer turned around. “You know her, Rookie?”\n“Yes, I do. She is a good friend of mine”\n“Good, then bring her away, and call this boy's mother, if possible.”\n\nWe walked back to the police car. The blue lights were still flashing, as Duke opened the door, to let me sit down in it. \n“Nikki, what happened here? This boy, it was Balto, right?\"\n\nI was shaking on my whole body. I was so angry. Why did I leave him alone? That was all my fault...\nDuke repeated himself: “Nikki, what happened with him?”\n\n\nI looked up. “I don’t know. I was gone for only 15 minutes. The two guys down there said they saw another boy running away from him, as they came closer.” Then I started to look for my phone. “where is my fucking phone? I have to call his mom. She will kill me for that....”\n\nDuke said, in a silent voice: “Let us drive there. And then we can go directly to the hospital”\n\nHe called his colleague on the walkie-talkie, then we drove home. \nChrista opened the door, as she saw the police car outside. \n\n“Nikki! Where is Balto, and why does the police bring you home? Where is my boy? Answer me!”\n\nDuke took the word: “Mrs. Star, your boy had an accident. He is in the hospital. As far as my information goes, he is unconscious, but he alive.”\n\nChrista shouted in anger: “He had what? Nikki you promised to watch over him! I should have never trusted you! Where is my boy? I need to go to him!”\nAgain, it was Duke, who tried to calm her down.\n\n“Mrs. Star, Nikki is not responsible for this. She left him alone at the beach for just 15 Minutes, to take an important call. As far as we know it, he was beaten up by another kid, who managed to ran away. But two joggers, who also gave him first aid and called the ambulance and us, saw him. They gave my partner a good description, so I am sure we will catch him pretty quickly.\nIf you want, I can drive you to the St. Francesco D’Assisi Hospital now. But please, don’t be mad at Nikki. It wasn’t her fault”\n\nI was standing behind Duke. I cried. I couldn’t look into Christa’s face. I only saw her feet, as she stepped closer, and then she gently lifted my head. She looked into my eyes, with a look like she would kill me in the next second. And, even if it sounds crazy, I would have understood her... I let everyone down. Her, and my mate. I wasn’t able to protect him from that guy.\nI heard her voice. Calm. Friendly. Like I never expected it in this awful situation. “Nicole, I am sorry.” \n\nShe looked over to Duke. \n“Officer, can you drive us to the hospital, please?”\n“Sure, Ma’am. I want to say, that I met Balto before, at a party. I see him as a friend, and I will do everything to help him”\nChrista wiped a tear away. “Thank you. Now let us go. I need to be with my son now.”\n\nChrista closed and locked the front door, before she looked at Duke once more. “If you really want to help, find the brat who is responsible for this. And beg you find him before I do it”\n\nThe drive to the Hospital was silent. Half an hour of complete silence. We arrived there, and Christa ran inside, after Duke parked the car. We followed her, and just heard her shouting to a young lady at the counter. The poor girl was pretty afraid of Christa, since she was in such a rage in that moment.\n\n\n“Where is my son? Tell me where he is!”\nWe quickly walked to the counter, and Duke pulled Christa back, right before the Hospital security stepped in. \n\nI walked closer to the counter.“We are sorry, her son was brought here after an accident. He was unconscious, can you tell us where he is? His name is Balto Star”\n\nThe lady was still shaking a little. “Oh, so you must be the family of this poor boy. He is still unconscious, and in the intensive care. But he is stable, as far as I can see that in his file.” \n\nThe nurse stood up and looked to another coworker. “Henry, can you bring these people to station 5, Intensive care room 7, please?”\n“Sure thing. Follow me, please.”\n\nWe followed Henry to the station. We could see Balto through the window, as doctors changed the infusions and checked on some monitors. He was laying there, his head shaved, with thick bandages around. Christa and I took each other in our arms and cried, as we watched this scene. The doctor came out of the room, after he has seen us and looked at Christa.\n“Excuse me, are you his mother?”\n“Yes doctor, I am Christa Star. How is he? Will he be ok? Please tell me, will he be ok?”\n\n\n“Mrs. Star, he will be fine. The fall on this rock was bad, yes. But it looked much worse at first, then it really is. His head is not broken, there is no internal damage. He should wake up soon, don’t worry. He had a lot of luck today”\n\nChrista’s face showed clearly her anger about this last sentence.\n“You really call this luck?”\n“Ma’am, it could have been much worse. If you want, you can go in for a few minutes. And we can prepare a bed for you, if you want to stay.”\n\nChrista relaxed herself a little, before she answered: \n“Yes, I want to stay. I want to be here, if my son wakes up.”\n\nThen Christa entered the room, and sat down next to Balto’s bed. She cried again, as she held his hand. \nI cannot imagine her feelings in that moment.\n\nDuke put his hand on my shoulder.\n“We will catch the asshole, which is responsible for that. I promise it.”\n“I know you will. And then, he will pay....”\n\n\n\n\nThis here is the first half of the story. It is a try to write more non sexual stuff. I hope you will like it.\n","writing_bbcode_parsed":"Red: Balto Yellow: Asha Kofi
Green: Christa Orange: Idrissa Kofi
Blue: Nikki Purple: Duke
Other Charakters: Italic

Revenge

First, hello out there. But please, don’t be mad at Nikki. It wasn’t her fault”

I was standing behind Duke. I wasn’t able to protect him from that guy.
I heard her voice. Calm. Friendly. Like I never expected it in this awful situation. “Nicole, I am sorry.”

She looked over to Duke.
“Officer, can you drive us to the hospital, please?”
“Sure, Ma’am. I want to say, that I met Balto before, at a party. I see him as a friend, and I will do everything to help him”
Christa wiped a tear away. “Thank you. Now let us go. I need to be with my son now.”

Christa closed and locked the front door, before she looked at Duke once more. “If you really want to help, find the brat who is responsible for this. And beg you find him before I do it”

The drive to the Hospital was silent. Half an hour of complete silence. We arrived there, and Christa ran inside, after Duke parked the car. We followed her, and just heard her shouting to a young lady at the counter. The poor girl was pretty afraid of Christa, since she was in such a rage in that moment.

“Where is my son? Tell me where he is!”
We quickly walked to the counter, and Duke pulled Christa back, right before the Hospital security stepped in.

I walked closer to the counter.“We are sorry, her son was brought here after an accident. He was unconscious, can you tell us where he is? His name is Balto Star”

The lady was still shaking a little. “Oh, so you must be the family of this poor boy. He is still unconscious, and in the intensive care. But he is stable, as far as I can see that in his file.”

The nurse stood up and looked to another coworker. “Henry, can you bring these people to station 5, Intensive care room 7, please?”
“Sure thing. Follow me, please.”

We followed Henry to the station. We could see Balto through the window, as doctors changed the infusions and checked on some monitors. He was laying there, his head shaved, with thick bandages around. Christa and I took each other in our arms and cried, as we watched this scene. The doctor came out of the room, after he has seen us and looked at Christa.
“Excuse me, are you his mother?”
“Yes doctor, I am Christa Star. How is he? Will he be ok? Please tell me, will he be ok?”

“Mrs. Star, he will be fine. The fall on this rock was bad, yes. But it looked much worse at first, then it really is. His head is not broken, there is no internal damage. He should wake up soon, don’t worry. He had a lot of luck today”

Christa’s face showed clearly her anger about this last sentence.
“You really call this luck?”
“Ma’am, it could have been much worse. If you want, you can go in for a few minutes. And we can prepare a bed for you, if you want to stay.”

Christa relaxed herself a little, before she answered:
“Yes, I want to stay. I want to be here, if my son wakes up.”

Then Christa entered the room, and sat down next to Balto’s bed. She cried again, as she held his hand.
I cannot imagine her feelings in that moment.

Duke put his hand on my shoulder.
“We will catch the asshole, which is responsible for that. I promise it.”
“I know you will. And then, he will pay....”

This here is the first half of the story. It is a try to write more non sexual stuff. I hope you will like it.
","pools_count":1,"title":"Revenge -Story in describtion-","deleted":"f","public":"t","mimetype":"image/png","pagecount":"1","rating_id":"0","rating_name":"General","ratings":[],"submission_type_id":"12","type_name":"Writing - Document","guest_block":"f","friends_only":"f","comments_count":"2","views":"63","sales_description":null,"forsale":"f","digitalsales":"f","printsales":"f","digital_price":""}
