They had spent an enjoyable evening catching up with each other, and it was getting late. Throught this, Kate kept on trying to work up the nerve to ask the questions she wanted, and when Ellie seemed to be getting ready to wrap things up, she finally decided to do it. "So... what's the deal with you and Brian? I heard you were doing... stuff", she finally nervously asked. "Aha, so that's what's what was on your mind all this time!", laughed Emma. "Yeah, well, I'm curious. What of it?", retorted Kate, getting redder. They both turned to Ellie, who sighed. "Alright, it seems my private life is everybody else's business. Might as well explain before people start getting weird ideas" "And?", pressured Kate and Emma in unison. "I was getting to it. Yes, we did it. Many times, in fact. No, I'm not going to give you details, that's private. All I'm going to say is that it was amazing", she finished with a smile. "Does it hurt?", asked Emma. "Just the first time, a little bit. It's not such a big deal, really. Once we got the hang of it, wow... my family is going to be happy. The harvest's been great this year, and everybody wants children" "Ah, I keep telling Jeremy that, but he's all nervous about it for some reason. It's not such a big deal, I think" The heads turned to Kate. "And what about you? Did you find anybody?" She blushed slightly. "No, I didn't find anybody to my liking yet". "Hm. Demanding, aren't you?" said Ellie. "If you as much as hint that you're looking for somebody, all the boys are going to be all over you. Just what is it that you're looking for?" "I don't really know. I just have one weird fantasy, but it's an impossible one" "How interesting! What is it?", excitedly piped up Emma "You're going to laugh at me" "Come on, I promise I won't. Pleeease?" Kate sighed. "Alright, you won't leave me alone otherwise. I want to do it with a fox." "You what!?" screamed Emma, while Ellie just stared with the mouth wide open. At that time, something rustled outside the window, but nobody paid it any attention. "I knew I shouldn't have said that", dejectedly muttered Kate. "But I guess what's done is done." "I mean... wow. That's awfully odd coming from you. I thought you'd faint at the sight of a naked boy, and to want that..." said Ellie, having somewhat recovered her usual composture. "Don't you think it would be really awesome, though? Very few survive the encounter with one, can you imagine the bragging rights?", explained Kate, figuring that she had said more than enough already to be looked at like a complete weirdo for months, if not forever. The way she figured, a good explanation might bring the whole situation back from "batshit crazy" to merely eccentric. Of course, it also could make things worse, but she preferred not to think too much of that. "I think you're getting a bit nutty", giggled Emma, ignoring the dirty looks from the other two. "Now that I think of it, there is a certain appeal to the idea", thoughtfully said Ellie. "Imagine being able to tell a fox what to do. Why, I could get out of all the chores my parents pile up on me. Just one small hint at me telling the fox, and I bet they'd change their mind", she finished, grinning perversely. "Aah! Now it's you too!" exclaimed Emma, now looking at the other two with concern, and getting actually worried. "Just joking", assured her Ellie, still perversely smiling. "Actually", confessed Kate, "I wasn't imagining it would be so consensual" Ellie raised an eyebrow. "It's more of a 'make it out alive and with all limbs intact' kind of fantasy than me thinking I'd somehow control him", explained Kate. "I see. Yes, I guess that's more realistic", nodded Ellie. "Is everything alright with you two!?", incredulously asked Emma. "It's just a fantasy", assured her the other two. "Relax, we're just having fun" "Well, okay then", said Emma, not feeling really convinced. "Anyway, it's getting late, and we should be thinking about sleep. Are you two staying?" Ellie nodded. "Sounds like a good idea, it's too dark outside". Kate pondered her options. Staying would be the safest and most logical thing to do, but on the other paw, she was finding the whole conversation stressful and still didn't know what would result from her confession. In the end she decided that some privacy at home was preferrable. "I'll be going then", she finally said. "Ooh, brave. Or perhaps you're hoping for your fantasy to come true? I hope he doesn't eat you when done", teased Ellie. "I think she's hoping he'll eat her out instead", piped up Emma. This only reinforced Kate's decision and she stood up.
