Free Spirit was not lonely, nor was he happy. Then again, being fourteen and still in an orphanage wasn't exactly the common way a foal was raised either. He truly wanted what any other pony had...a family. As the years went by and families came and went it became blatantly obvious that his chances of gaining one were slipping under the knife and being cut from him.
Puberty didn't help either.
Without the knowledge of what he was going through it became increasingly hard to shut out his suddenly sporadic emotions. one day he'd been outside relaxing underneath his favorite spruce, when he was approached by one of the orphanage staff. They stood there and looked at him, before asking if he was alright, which greatly confused him. he nodded and smiled but they seemed not to believe him and instead had given him a hug.
"It's alright, Free Spirit, it's going to be okay..." to Free Spirit's surprise he realized he'd been crying,
and hadn't even noticed.
The second problem, was that his Damn Shlong seemed to lose the understanding of respect and manners, simply slipping out at random times and hardening to the point it could be used as a lethal weapon. Having to politely excuse himself from class several times did NOT help his emotions at all.
And then there was the vibrator...
it had appeared on his bed one evening with a sticky note attached to it.
"Insert into anus with lube, masterbate while it vibrates, and you'll feel alot better, trust me." --a friend.
That had thoroughly grossed him out the first, second, and third time he'd read it. Instead, he'd thrown it in a clothes drawer and trashed the note. But the more he ignored his arousal, the more painful it became. The more he denied himself release, the more erratic his emotions got.
The mental damn finally broke one day when his teacher excused him yet again for 'showing off his sword" to the class. in his frustration he'd yelled at her and the class before storming out and back to his room. To his surprise he found the vibrator on his bed with another sticky note attached.
"Use it dammit!" -- an irked friend.
Deciding this friend would not stop pestering him, he grabbed the toy and some lube from the bathroom, before locking his door and getting as comfortable as possible.
Two hours of the most pleasure he'd ever felt later, and Free Spirit was once again his namesake...free.
