“Long ago in the ancient times of Egypt, there was a city known as Memphis. The city was ruled by the king himself: Pharaoh Ptolemy the second. Many stories could be told about him. But this story is of two men Named Amenhotep and Rameses. They where pharaoh’s most loyal servants. Some of you may be wondering, how come you’ve never heard of them? Well that is where I tell you the story of how these two were forgotten to history…”

It began on a cool Egyptian night. The two servants stood at a balcony to enjoy the beautiful view of Memphis at night. After a good long look, the two began feel sleepy and decided to head to bed. However, just as they were heading the hall, they spotted something that made them curious. A mysterious figure, wearing a robe and jackal mask, exited out of a door that they knew they had never seen before. They stayed hidden watched as the figure closed the secret door by pressing one of the sandstone bricks. The two stayed out of sight until the figure was far enough away, not knowing that the figure already knew they were there. Amenhotep suggested that they should tell the pharaoh about this but Ramses was curious about this secret room and decided to take a look inside. Amenhotep did not wish to leave him behind so he joins him. Ramses opens the secret door and the walk inside. Amenhotep couldn’t believe what he was seeing. There was a whole entire chamber with connected hallways hidden from the outside. By the looks of things they seemed to be in some kind of Library…
After several minutes of searching through the chamber, Ramses comes a cross a scroll containing information that sent a shiver up his spine. The scroll tells of a plan, on the assassination of the Pharaoh himself! "Amenhotep! you must see this!" He says. He then shows him the scroll, causing the wolf to also be shocked by this information.
"By the gods, this is blasphemy!" The wolf said. Ramses then quickly rolls the scroll back up.
"We must warn the Pharaoh at once!" He says in panic. The wolf nods in agreement as they were about to leave.
However, the two spotted shadows on the wall and that's when they began to realize they were not alone. The jackal masked figure had returned, and this time he was not alone. Other hooded jackal's had appeared and made quick work in capturing the unfortunate servants, pinning their arms behind their backs and binding them with rope. Once the two servants were secured, they were then escorted to the chamber's Hidden preparation room, where they were forced to kneel before the masked figure.
"Who ever you are, You won't get away with this. We know about your plans!" The wolf servant said. The masked figure then looked down at them and speaks,
"Is that so? well then, we can’t have either of you talking about it now can we?" He then signals the others to strip the servants and strap them down to a stone table. The two are then left to struggle as the jackals get everything prepared...
Once the two captive servants were strapped down to their stone slabs, the four cloaked jackals then began the mummification by grabbing multiple roles of linen wrap. They began with the first layer, tightly wrapping their legs and arms separately. As well as the their hands, wrapping them into useless mittens. After that, they moved on to the body, neck and head, but keeping their faces uncovered...for now.
The cloaked jackals then began the second layer. This time, binding their legs and tail into one single column. Their arms were then forced to cross over their chests and then tightly wrapped, pinning them in place. The two struggled as hard as they could as the jackals applied the third and final layer to their mummification. This one proving to be even tighter than the previous layers.
After the third layer was finished, the two continued to wiggle in their bindings as the cloaked jackals then began to stitch the wrappings, making their prison more permanent! Their struggling soon ceased as they saw the masked figure looking over them. Amenhotep gulps as he begins to fear what will happen next.
The Masked Figure watched as Amenhotep and Ramses wiggled in their unbreakable Bandages. He walked over and stood between the two slabs and looked down at them. Amenhotep looks up at him and pleads for their lives.
“Don’t do this to us Please. By the Gods I swear we’ll forget what we saw.” Amenhotep begs as he wiggles in his bindings. The masked villain remains silent, ignoring his pleas. He then raises his hand and snaps his fingers. This summons the jackals who slowly approach the mummified servants with more bandages in hand. They finish their mummification by stuffing their mouths with wads of cloth and wrapping their mouths shut.
“p-please Sir, we are to young to be mummified, let us go please!” Ramses pleads struggles as he squirms around. A jackals takes hold of Ramses head while and other shoves a cloth in his mouth.
“MMMMMMPH MMMMPH!” Ramses muffles as tears fall on his face.
They then start to wrap their faces, Mouths and noses, just before they wrap their eyes, the two servants looked at each other, their eyes filled with tears. After they've been fully wrapped, the jackals prepare their sarcophagi and are about to move them. Amenhotep and Ramses Muffle and wiggle as the Jackals prepare to move them.
Amenhotep and Ramses wiggled and muffled helplessly, doing everything they could to break free. The jackals picked them up and carried them across the room. The servants were each placed in their own Sarcophagus.
“MMPPHH HMHMHMHM MMMMM HHHLLPPP!!” Amenhotep let out as he twisted his head. A jackal pressed his hand on Ramses faces and forced his head down.
“MMMPPPHHHH MMMFFFFFMMMM!!” Ramses let out.
The Caskets the servants were placed in were very thin. Made to fit their bodies precisely. Ramses and Amenhotep found it rather hard to move around.
“NNNNNN NNNNN LLLTTTMMMGGGGG!” Amenhotep let out as he tried to wiggle his arms loose.
The Jackals then picked up the lids and placed them over the sarcophagi. Once the caskets were sealed, the Jackals brought over buckets fill with a paste Called Resin. The paste was smothered over the sides of the sarcophagi.
The Caskets were now permanently sealed, Trapping Amenhotep and Ramses inside. The jackals watched as the Sarcophagi rattled, for the servants continued to muffle and wiggle, unable to escape.
“Now load them onto the carriage. We ride out for the desert to meet with the others.” The Anubis figure said to his followers.
Before the Servants were Mummified, the Masked Figure ordered several of his followers to ride out deep into the desert to an isolated location. They were instructed to dig a hole where the servants were to be buried.
After the Sarcophagi were loaded onto the carriage, the Anubis figure and his Jackals road out to the desert, far from the palace. Amenhotep and Ramses were taken to their Final Resting Place.
The Anubis Figure and his Followers road through the Desert under the cover of the night. After about an hour, they arrived at the location where several Jackals had dug a wide-deep hole.
“How deep did you make it?” The Anubis figured asked one of the jackals.
“At least 10 feet Master.” The Jackal replied.
“Good.” The Anubis Figure responded, then pointed to the carriage. “Get them in the hole and fill it in.” He ordered the Jackals.
The jackals carried the Sarcophagi off the carriage and placed them near the hole. They then took sets of rope and placed them under the caskets. The jackals used the rope to Lift the sarcophagi and positioned them over the hole.
“MMFFMMFMMM HHHMMHMMMHMHMH” Amenhotep muffled out as he rattled from inside his Sarcophagus.
“MMMMMFFFFMMM! PPPLLLSSSHHHHLLLLPPMMMMM!” Ramses muffled out.
The jackals watched as the Sarcophagi rattled with Amenhotep and Ramses muffling from inside. The sarcophagi were then lowered down into the hole. After the jackals pulled out the rope, other jackals approached the hole with shovels.
From inside the Caskets, Amenhotep and Ramses heard thunk’s as sand landed on the lids. They both realized in that moment, they were being Buried Alive.
“MMMMPPPHHHH MMMMMHMHMHMM!” Amenhotep muffled and wiggled as hard as he could, but nothing he did could break his bandages nor open his sarcophagus. “NNNNNNNNN HHHHLLLLPPPP!” He let out.
“MMMMMMMMHMHMHMHMHM!” Ramses let out in Muffled weeps. “HHHHHLLLLPPPPMMMMMMM HHHHLLLLPPPMMMMMM! He let out as he rattled desperately.
As the hole was filled in, the Sarcophagi rattling ceased. Eventually the muffling silenced. After sometime, the Hole was completely filled in and the jackals patted down on the sand where the hole was. After Amenhotep and Ramses were Buried, the Jackals gathered around the Masked Anubis Figure as he explained their next move.
“Now that those two are out of the way, we can proceed with our plan.” The masked figure announced. “Once we return to Memphis, destroy all the Scrolls in the hidden chamber mentioning our plans.” The figure explained. “I will poison the Pharaohs Evening tea. His subjects will believe he died in his sleep.” He said. “When the Pharaohs Son succeeds him, I will be by his side as his advisor. Soon, Egypt will be Mine and make no mistake, you all shall be well rewarded.” The Anubis figure said, then he and his followers returned to the palace.
Having Been Buried Alive, Amenhotep and Ramses continued to wiggle and muffle. They could hear one another’s muffled cries for help, but that was all they heard. As time went by, the two servants began to feel themselves slipping away. The Air in their Caskets started to run low and eventually, the servants would suffocate to Death. No was coming to their rescue, for no one had known what became of them. They were, Forgotten.
