Donoven belongs to \r\n\t\t\t\t\t

So my pal Donoven and I went to take a tour of the Museum of Natural History. We were walking around when we came across a hallway that was blocked off. When no one was looking, Donoven and I snuck in to see what the museum was hiding. We found a door with a Do Not Enter sign and went in.
“I hope we don’t get in trouble for this BlackStar.” Donoven said to me.
“Don’t worry Don, we’ll be in and out before anyone notices.” I said to him.
We opened the door and turned on the light switch to find a another room. “Woah!” Donoven and I let out after we saw Two Lion Statues. One was silver and the other was gold.
“Wow these are cool, but why would they be down here?” Donoven asked.
“No clue bro.” I replied, then saw something On the golden statue. “Hey look at this.” I said to Donoven. I saw there was an engraving on the base and a red gem above the engraving. “I can’t read it. It’s in Chinese I think.” I said as I rubbed my hand over the gem and Donoven did the same on the other statue.
The gems on the tablets then started glowing. “Ok, that was weird.” Donoven said regarding the gems, then took out his phone. “I’ll look this text up and maybe figure out what it says.” He explained.
“Perhaps We can tell you what it says.”
“Oh thanks that would be…” I suddenly widened my eyes, then looked at Donoven who had the same look.
“That wasn’t me!” Donoven said. We both then looked up and screamed after we saw that the Lion Statues had come to life and were looking at us.
“Hope we didn’t startle you two.” The Golden Lion statue said.
“Well…um, it-it’s just…” Donoven try to say.
“We didn’t know you guys, were um, M-magical.” I said in A nervous voice.
“Oh I can assure you, we are well known for our magic.” The silver Lion says. “And to peak your curiosity, the inscription on the Tablets state, “Heed these words an beware, the Sacred Stones must remain untouched by all. Should the Spirits that lie Dormant within be disturbed, he who touches the Stone shall be bound to it for all Eternity.” The Lion statues said and Donoven and I looked at each other with worry.
“Wh-what does that mean?” Donoven asked as I gulped.
The Lion statues made serious, but elegant looks at us and their bodies began molding into liquid rubber. “It means you two with be spending quite a long time with us.” The Silver Lion said.
The lions rubber bodies began moving slowly towards us like tentacles. I began to shiver. “Donoven!” I said and he looked at me. “Run!” I said simply.
Donoven and I got up and we made a run for the door. The lions and their liquid bodies charged at us. The gold lions rubber grabbed my foot and I fell to the floor. I yelled at Donoven to keep going, but the Silver Lion got a hold of him. Donoven yelled for help as he dug his claws into the floor, but the silver Lion used his liquid to close the door and lock it from the inside.
The Lions took hold of our limbs with their rubber and pulled us towards the statues. They positioned us the same way with our legs and hands pressed against the bases. The rubber the started covering us, molding into the shape of the lions bodies as they were before. The lions heads were floating in the air, watching as Donoven and I were being coated in rubber. Both our bodies were covered by the liquid, only our faces were popping out. Our faces were popping out the upper bodies where the lions heads would be.
“BlackStar, I…I’m stuck” Donoven let out.
“Nngghh, I-I can’t move.” I let out.
Donoven and I were unable to move our bodies from inside the rubber. In fact, we couldn’t feel our bodies at all. No matter how hard we tried, we couldn’t get free from the rubber and couldn’t move our faces.
“Now now don’t fret, you get use to it after a few hundred years.” The golden Lion said.
“Please, let us out of here.” Donoven said in a frightened voice.
“Don’t worry boys, we’ll take good care of you. You’ll be safe inside our bodies. Our magic will keep you Alive and preserved and we can talk to you so you won’t feel lonely. And if we want, we will let you see through our eyes.” The silver Lion explained.
“Just let us out, we won’t say anything.” I said.
“I’m afraid neither of you will be speaking in a moment.” The gold Lion head said.
“B-But I don’t wanna be a statue, I wanna go home.” Donoven let out in tears.
“Just relax Boys, you’ll be safe with us.” Both of the Lion heads said, then turned around and began floating towards our faces.
Donoven and I tried to move as we yelled for help, but it was hopeless. We begged the lions to let us go and not make us statues, but our pleas were ignored as their heads moved closer and closer. Donoven and we’re scared, knowing we were about to be trapped forever.
