"writing": "The Hole in the Wall was not a particularly nice restaurant. Certainly not unhygienic, but not a high-class place by any stretch of the imagination. It would likely not have lasted very long were it relying only on its atmosphere (which was seedy) or the quality of its food (which was standard bar fare.) But it was very cheap, open twenty four-seven, and was located conveniently close to the Harris University campus. As a result, it was [i]very [/i]popular with the student body – both as a place to eat, and as a place to work part time.\n\nLei Bunsen found herself urgently in the need of the former. She hadn't eaten at all since the... incident, more than a day ago. And how could she? Eating had been the root of the whole fucking thing. Just thinking about it almost made her cringe. She had initially resolved to never eat again, and to her credit she’d managed to last a full twenty six hours, thirty four minutes and seventeen seconds (she’d counted) before giving into the inevitable. She'd shuffled down to the nearest place to eat she'd known would be open this late, tersely took the farthest booth available, and jabbed a finger randomly at the menu she’d been handed to order. It was, thankfully, not exactly a busy time of day, but there were still enough people with full plates of food to make Lei feel uncomfortable. She locked her eyes firmly on her table, struggling to tune out the much more enticing than usual aroma of shitty pub fare, and the handful of patrons that her mind had decided to associate with that aroma.\n\nLei concentrated so hard on not thinking about food that she didn’t notice her own order arriving. “Excuse me, ma’am? Your food?”\n\nLei was jolted out of her reverie by the waitress – Tina, her nametag had read. Small, about as cute as a chihuahua girl could be, though Lei had been too hungry to take in any details when ordering her food. She looked up, got as far as \"Thank y-\", and then the smell of [i]food [/i]hit her nose just as her eyes locked onto the girl holding the plate.\n\nShe lunged. A small part of her mind that still managed to retain some amount of rationality in the face of raw animal instinct noted that she would probably enjoy her meal more if she took her time with it rather than shoving her mouth around the entire serving. And the plate. And the Waitress's hands.\n\nGetting swallowed whole by a customer was decidedly not something Tina Lee had expected to experience when she showed up to work the night shift. She hadn’t woken up in the morning and thought to herself ‘gee I sure hope I get vored at work tonight!’ before getting ready for class. It was [i]certainly[/i] not something she knew how to react to. \"What-\" was all she had time for before her torso was completely engulfed by Lei. Her legs and tail flailed uselessly in the air, before they too were swallowed whole.\n\nThere was a brief period of silence while Lei calmed down and slowly came to terms with exactly what had just happened. That small spectre of rationality made itself known again. \"You see?” she thought to herself. “This is exactly why eating things is a bad idea now.\" Not exactly the most helpful of thoughts to be having, given the situation. She knew she had to do [i]something[/i], but she had no idea [i]what[/i] and all that her mind could come up with was a snide “I told you so” to herself. She had at least clearly picked the right time and place to have a complete mental breakdown after devouring a waitress whole. The only reaction she got was a bunch of quiet murmuring and a Look from the bartender, followed by an immediate return to the ambient silence of a dive bar past midnight.\n\nAfter taking a moment to process that her fellow customers were too jaded to react like normal people, Lei allowed some of the tension to release. At which point she realized that she was standing awkwardly in the middle of the only lane of traffic in the restaurant, belly distended from her meal.\n\nLei shuffled her way awkwardly back into the booth where slightly fewer eyes were on her. She rested her belly on the table as comfortably as she could manage, and promptly froze up again. She’d done [i]something[/i], but Tina remained thoroughly eaten and the situation remained thoroughly unresolved. Clearly she needed to do something [i]else[/i], but she’d exhausted her well of ideas. Time seemed to sort of blur together. It [i]felt[/i] like hours had passed, but it couldn't have been more than a few minutes later when she noticed someone had sat across form her in her booth.\n\n\"Hi there. You doing okay?\" She was a mouse, with blue fur. Lei had seen her a few times around the Hole in the Wall back before... the incident. She had always assumed that she worked there until now.\n\nLei considered the question carefully. She hadn't eaten since the incident, which was the big one. She hadn’t [i]slept[/i] either, but she didn’t feel particularly tired, just very, very stressed. She had never really dealt with being removed from her rigid daily routines very well. Being made into a goo monster by a mad science experiment hadn’t helped on that front either.\n\nAnd, of course, she was sitting in a booth at a dive bar with a comically distended stomach full of chihuahua was about as far removed from her comfort zone as she’d ever been.\n\n\"...No?\", Lei hazarded.\n\n\"So then you [i]don't[/i] normally go around eating waitresses alive, then?\" At first, the woman had come across as genuinely concerned for Lei’s wellbeing, but something else had snuck its way into her tone. She had a [i]smirk[/i] plastered on her face that absolutely [i]oozed[/i] unshakable confidence. \"Speaking of which, gonna need you to let her out at some point, kiddo. There's other customers who need to be taken care of.\"\n\nThere was something about her that made Lei profoundly uncomfortable. The mouse was hot, short but with wide hips and enormous tits that set her bunny instincts ablaze with the urge to breed. But at the same time there was something [i]predatory[/i] that made those same bunny instincts [i]scream [/i]at her to get out of there now.\n\n\"Well uh... She focused on the idea of letting go, and opened her eyes.\n\nHer stomach had started shrinking. \"Yep, of course it'd be this again.\" She muttered.\n\nLei’s belly slowly dwindled back to natural looking proportions, and the rest of her body [i]stretched[/i]. I ain't gonna kinkshame, but I'd be the one held liable for any legal action her relatives might take and I'm not really keen on taking a bullet for you, kid.\"\n\nLei swallowed.
