I woke up in a white room groggy. My head hurts so badly. And my body felt it was on fire. I move but couldn't. Realizing I have a tube up my nose and that I'm strapped down in a hospital type bed by my wrist and ankles. I shout out wanting to get the sheets off of me with my own hands for how hot I feel. 

“Let me go, I am hot. Would someone please help me?” Then finally someone appears in a bio suit.

Ok now I am scared. Why are they wearing a bio suit?  “Please get me out of these restraints” 

He looked at my charts and check all the monitors on me. He said. “I am Dr. Troje. I am going to take this out of your nose now.”(Tro he) 

It hurt as he pulled the feeding tube out of my nose. Then he ask me.

“Mam do you know where you are?”

“It looks like a Biohazard hospital? I am so hot would you at least take the sheets and blanket off of me and tell me what the hell is going on?” 

“Do you know your name?” 

‘Struggling in my restraints. “I am Olivia Kinkaid. President of the O.P.T.U.S. (Outerspace Private Trading Sector Unit) now let me go!” 

“Sorry mam we cannot do that at this time can you tell me what day this is?” 

“It is Mach 18 3075”

“No Miss. Kinkade today is July, 28, 3075, you had disappeared for 3 month and been in coma for a month and 10 days now mam. Can you remember what happen to you?”

Shocked by his words, I try to think, but everything was foggy, Then bits and pieces of my memory appears.

“I was in my spaceship heading for the Alpha quadrant to meet with Omer Steel. On my way there I was having trouble with the throttle. I called for help. Someone answered my com. He said he would help me. A huge ship appears. They let me know that they were going to use a tractor beam. I don’t remember any more, what is wrong with me why I‘m so hot.”

“Miss. Olivia Kincaid you are pregnant.”

“What! There is now way. I am a virgin. I would never break the rules of having a child without the proper forms filled out.”  

I could not believe his words. Then he looked at me strangely and pulled the sheets and blankets off of me. I saw my nude body some dark scales in a small patches of my thigh, elbows, hands, feet, chest, and my swollen belly.

He pulls out and used the ultrasound device. He pointed to the ultrasound screen. I looked at the screen and sure enough I am with child. My mind is going crazy wondering how the hell I could be pregnant but I don’t remember anything.r
“You are about 18 weeks along now. When we received you were only 3 weeks along.”

It took some time to absorb everything he was telling me. Something bad must have happened to me, but who, what, where and How. All these questions just bombarded my mind, and the monitor was beeping quickly. 

“Calm down Miss. Kinkaid, I will tell you as much as I am allowed. We still have many questions of our own. We must keep you in this room since you can’t remember.
Due to your disappearance, and the rate of growth of this pregnancy, We cannot take the restraints off. Nor can we let you leave this facility.’

At this point, I start seeing spots of my memory slowly coming back but it was still jumbled up. I am quite upset, trying to remember, nor do not want to be here.  “Why can't I leave? What is going on?  Just, tell me already!" 

“We have taken your blood. It shows that your cell is changing. I can tell you that you are on the best scientific spacecraft your company has to offer. You were found in the Delta quadrant. In your spaceship.”

The monitors start to go off again as my worries about what they will do next to me and my child. My child, I am going to have my child. All of a sudden my blood felt it was boiling inside me, as thoughts of them experimenting with my child like a lab rat. 

A dark image and deep voice, I hear. “You and our child will be safe with us. We are coming for you”

I looked around “Do you hear that Dr?”

He looked at me, “Yes your monitors are beeping to fast. You really need to calm down.”

He did not hear what I just heard. Then who or whatever that spoke, they spoke in my mind the image of that dark figure was not clear. Maybe because they were too far away. Something about that voice, I felt safe knowing He was coming for me. Who is he? For some odd reason, I started to calm down and the beeps went back to normal. 

Dr. Troje spoke “Good you are calming down, what would you like to eat. “

"May I have quat. I mean rat."

That language I just spoke was Dragoman.

Why would I eat rat, but that is what I want. The Dr. looks at me strangely. 

"Yes this what I want and I am starving for some real food." 

Dr. Troje leaves to get my food. 

I can feel my child move in my belly. A part of me is still afraid but yet I still needed to protect my child. I start to feel hot again as the dark scales have grown more on my body. Then I hear the voice in my mind and I see him, Matzeer. 

“Your transformation is still transitioning mode my love. We will get you when your body is done in its transformation. You and our child is important to me. I will not let them hurt you or our child.”

I should be quite scared to see Matzeer in my mind, but I was wanting him to take me now to bring me back into the ship. I am missing him being next to the one I love.
 
My body begins to boil again as I bite my bottom lip moaning in pain. The claws spring forth from where my nails used to be on both hands and feet. Even my face was growing and changing shape, I will no longer be human. I felt my body changing to what Matzeer is. 

My memory is coming back in bits and pieces as I change. They are Dragoman. Part dragon part human. I remember why I stayed. I was so intrigued by the species we never encountered before. I remember my first kiss with Matzeer. I remember falling in love with him.  

My body is darker now the scales have smoothed over iridescent in it black and blue with some purple. I could even see some pink in it too. I remember I accepted to be a Dragoman. He and his people made sure I knew what would happen before Matzeer made love to me. 

I am his woman now, impregnating me with his child and had called on my people. The reason is part of needing to be on my human ship to help with my transformation and carrying my child. Now I remember it all.

My belly swells more as I was transforming. I got stronger and soon I broke my restraints. 
“We are here my love, be prepared to be beamed up.” The Doctor came back as I waved goodbye with a smile. My full Dragoman body, I said. “Sorry I am no longer your guinea pig.”

I rub my belly as I was beamed aboard. So happy to be home with Matzeer. Once aboard I hugged him and kissed my Dragoman and I could see the pure joy and love in his eyes for me. His people warp speed across the Milky Way. I will be the first woman that made it alive to help the Dragoman species live.
