He had just finished high school and it was summer break so he had a lot of free time on his paws. Since he lived in a small town, he rode his bike just about anywhere and everywhere, plus it was a good way to get some exercise. One day Alex was at the local park, sitting on a bench and eating his lunch enjoying the very nice summer day when he heard a child laughing and giggling. The playground was right behind him so it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary and he continued to eat. It wasn’t until a little while later when the laughing stopped and he got an uneasy feeling that someone was staring at him. Slowly, he turned around as to not draw attention to himself and he saw a little red fox, just like himself when he was little, standing in the distance and watching him eat his lunch.\n\nThe little fox was only wearing a blue t-shirt and what looked like a baby diaper. But that’s all Alex saw, he didn’t see anyone else in the park nor anyone in the general vicinity. It seemed like they were the only two in the whole town and everyone else disappeared all of a sudden. Alex waved to the little boy and the he waved back. Curious as to what happened to his parents, he walked over to the little boy and was shocked to find that he looked exactly like him when he was younger. Alex remembered looking through the photo album and seeing his younger self wearing those exact same clothes, right down to the little designs to the baby diaper. The only problem was, this little boy seemed to be around 5 or so years old, and not 2 years old like when the pictures were taken.\n\n“What’s your name little guy?” Alex asked hesitantly\n\n“My name is Eric! All the times when he played at this exact same playground, when he got hurt falling from a tree he’d climbed, how excited he was when it was his birthday, everything! Alex was trying to figure out why all these memories were coming back so suddenly and so vividly, like they happened just yesterday. Then he remembered the question that Eric asked him and snapped himself out of his daze\n\n“My... my name is Alex, where are your parents Eric?”\n\n“They are at home” He said pointing over in the general direction of his own house\n\nAlex looks over to where he’s pointing and then back to the cub “Well shouldn’t they be here with you? Alex stood up and began running toward the playground entrance, which seemed farther away than usual, but he kept running until he realized the more he ran the farther the gate was and the closer the woman was to reaching him. Soon he ran out of breath and couldn’t run anymore, Alex just layed down on the grass and closed his eyes, completely out of energy as the the woman stood over him. He wondered what the woman was going to do to him when he heard a very familiar voice speaking, which made him open his eyes.\n\nIt WAS his mother!\n\n“Oh my, it’s a good thing I packed extra clothes for you today!” Alex’s mom said as she kneeled down and began taking things out of the bag. Alex was too tired and too humiliated to do anything else but just lay there and let his mom do whatever it was she was doing. Eric came over and sat right next to Alex, gently petting his head in an effort to make him feel better. Eric’s petting actually did make Alex feel much better and calm down just enough that he didn’t even notice his mom taking off his soaked pants and undies, leaving him naked and exposed to whomever happened to walk by.
