She is, in a general manner of speaking, the "daughter" of Tolarix. They are father and daughter in the same way as a scientist who creates something sentient is. Qendia (pronounced Kendia) is the result of a series of experiments Tolarix performed into a Tzeenthcian daemon called a Horror. He experimented with combining Brimstone, Blue, and Pink Horrors to get to perfect blends of the personalities of each. He then took the resulting Horror, imbued his own magic into it, giving it his general shape, and so, Qendia came to be!
She is still a Horror, and as such, follows the same rules: If killed, she splits into two blue versions of herself that bicker and grumble. If either of those is killed, they split further into two fiery Brimstone versions of her, flying everywhere and burning everything in a great daemonic tantrum/rage. If those are further killed, she returns to her bed, unconscious, until she can regenerate. Unless she gave one of her feathers to someone. That functions in a way similar to Tolarix's silver amulets.
She was built as a spy, intel/gossip gatherer, lie/rumor spreader, guard, familiar, manipulator, inventory, and several other roles that pertain to his convoluted plans. She can write and alter pages inside books, similar to the legendary Blue Scribes, though her collection of available spells is far more restricted, knowing only a few dozen as opposed to the Scribes' countless library. She is skilled with a quill and imitate anyone's writing style with a sufficient sample.
She also loves (aka, was designed to seek out) to learn about methods of scrying and fortune telling. She is skilled with I Ching, tarot, runes, palmistry, auras, tea leaves, pendulums, and crystal balls. She has her own sets of each that she made herself by hand, except for the crystal ball, which is one of her father's eyes. She can use it to communicate with him directly if need be.
Her chest fluff is a gateway to a pocket dimension in a similar way to a bag of holding from D&D, allowing her to store an unlimited amount of things on her at all times. Anyone who touches her chest will be pulled in and added to her inventory. Or absorbed into her. She can make her chest a bag of devouring at will, so hands off.
She is playful and cute when she is Pink and likes playing games like hide and seek. She cheats, in that she can turn invisible while stationary when she is Pink. When she is Blue, however, she can do so while mobile, though she is still corporeal.
She can use the standard warpfire blasts of raw magic Horrors can use, and she has become very good at turning people solidly into other substances, though substance they become is still random.
She has a spell that is a variant of the Boon of Change, wherein she releases a blast of magical smoke in every direction, healing anything touched by Tzeentch (worshippers) or made of his substance (daemons), but causes everything else to mutate uncontrollably and without direction. She can do this accidentally if startled.
Her final defense is an emotional link to her father as a way of him getting vague notifications from her. With an emotional change, he tell when her task has had a new development. In the event someone does get the drop on her and attacks her, big change daddy Tolarix will show up, wanting to know why his agent is scared and/or in pain.
Tolarix would much rather no one study her, as that could give away some of his secrets, and allow them to create a way to defend against such a new and different kind of creature.
I'm thinking of continuing this line, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Is there any interest in seeing more?
