Long ago there was a warrior princess, blessed to be the bearer of the Cosmic Light. She brought the Light everywhere she went, fighting evil and doing good. Then one day she brought the Light where it was not welcome, and disappeared into the breeding kennels of the Gut, never to be heard from again.
The lost princess has since birthed many litters for the Dogs of the Maw, but her first contribution was a singular birth, a daughter named Samantha.
Samantha is a mischievous and playful girl who spends much time with her half-brother, Nicolas. The two are practically inseparable and do almost everything together. Though their father had sired many other children from many other mothers since them, Sammie and Nickie were the first and have been given a far greater significance to their father, the gang, the cult, and apparently the plans of all three.
The two enjoy a great amount of freedom with few doors being closed to them unless their dad says so, for his word is law. The two siblings take full advantage of no one willing to bring the two of them harm and so have exerted their inherited dominance on quite a few cult members and slaves of every age and sex.
Given her mother was not only a human of royalty but of an inherited power, Samantha inherited both as well. She is able to enter holy spaces, cross holy thresholds, and use magic, objects, and weapons that are holy or in some way light-aligned, things that would harm her father or brother. Thing is, she doesn't know how to fully make use of this connection partially due to no one having any familiarity with it to instruct her or teach her. To rectify this, Shaidin sealed a pact with Tolarix that the bird of sorcery would tutor the two siblings and teach them how to make use of their respective powers. Samantha has developed a crush on her teacher. It is unclear if Tolarix knows of this.
The others frequently visit, sometimes bringing their own kids. Samantha and Qendia get along very well and have become great friends. Ila is more Nicolas' friend but still very friendly with Samantha. Gilana is standoffish with Samantha but seems to enjoy Nicolas' rough-and-tumble tastes more.
Samantha uses her brother's ability to enter dreams to dive into the minds of new recruits or slaves and play around, altering memories, tastes, and installing many, many trigger phrases, corrupting them into obedient slaves and pets. Their victim will, quite literally, wake up a whole new person.
The two eventually found devices on one of their victims that allowed them to travel to other worlds, dimensions, and universes. Sam and Nick went around having fun, messing with other worlds, stealing things they thought looked cool and generally causing problems. They eventually caught on that some of these worlds had their own heroes and stories going on. The two then directed their trouble-making, stealing quest-critical items, messing with quest-critical people, and breaking things that would be important later. The both of them tend to have fun with princesses, queens, and priestess, bringing their virtue to ruin is more her brother's thing, though Samantha does take pleasure is making old wizards permanently lose their powers after giving in to temptation. Samantha's attention went to noticing just how many of these worlds were set to be saved by mere kids.
Samantha loves to seduce the heroes and heroines of these other worlds, especially the surprisingly common shota heroes. She'll insert herself as a traveling companion or utility character, make herself useful to the hero/heroine, then start working her charms. Each night weaving threads into her prey's mind before finally teasing and seducing them to follow her and play, leaving their world, their quest, and their duty behind to become one of her "Love Puppies" and be her fawning pet and toy.
Her father eventually learned of what his children were doing, but wasn't mad. Instead, he wanted to join them. The three now make it a family outing to go out and twist worlds like this, though Sammie and Nick still sometimes go out without their father.
One hero, though is special to Samantha. For he caught on that something was going on. Despite multiple threads of her corruption woven into his mind he was still able to resist her enough to make his escape. He was still removed from his own world and adventure and Samantha lost track of where that one specifically was. He was the one who got away and the thought of it has made him very important to Samantha. More so than she'd like to admit.
