I still had my tape recorder going as I was on my way back and went up a hill I doesn't usually go up and wasn't planning on going up but I did hear something and knew it came from that direction.\n\nOnce I was at the tawp of the hill, I let out a loud howl. Seconds after, it was followed by a pack of feral coyotes howling and yelping in my direction. I immediately turned the microphone around and stepped back to howl back and forth with them.\n\nAfter that, I went down the hill and stood at the river looking across where they came from.
