"description": "The second of my three Halloween pics. This one is actually based on the Discworld series's infamous Things From The Dungeon Dimension, which get a particular look in the novel \"Moving Pictures.\" As I recall, the analogy goes that reality, and the world it exists in, is like a bright, warm flame sitting in a bubble in the darkest, coldest ocean imaginable. The Things themselves exist within that ocean, formless, instinctual monstrosities that are drawn to the warmth inside the bubble, even as they know they would smother it were they to invade and wrap themselves around it. Unfortunately, even as the bubble protects the flame, it is being weakened by it, the brighter the flame, the easier the barrier becomes for the things to pierce.\n\nI tried to make the creatures in the void seem abstract, but I couldn't resist throwing in some caricatures of characters, monsters and the like, from old shows I like. Hopefully the whole thing looks sufficiently spooky. Favorites and Comments are always appreciated.",
