Panting, the woman glanced next to her on the bed, seeing the two year old toddler also struggling with a series of contractions, the girl's whimpers steadily getting louder as she curled up in a fetal position, her knees pressed against her plump belly as she tried to struggle through the pain, staying in her clenched pose for a moment before going completely limp, gasping as she tried to catch her breath, exhausted and weak.
