Shouldn't be more than an hour, maybe two. I promised their parents that I'd keep an eye on them for this evening, but I just got a call from my bank and I need to pop over for a quick visit there.\"\nSheldon instantly frowned at the thought of having to babysit the two boys, having had ample experience of it in the past. Though the pair were a handful of years younger than him, they were also rather rowdy, quick to stir up trouble at a moment's notice. The cub's hesitation was evident from the disgruntled look on his face as he hummed and hawed, thinking about the perfectly peaceful Saturday afternoon that would most likely be wasted on having to chase around a duo of unruly pups if he said yes, his mother sweetening the deal after seeing his doubts, \n\"I'll order in pizza tonight if you help me~\" \nSighing, Sheldon finally gave in and nodded, getting a grateful kiss on his forehead from his mom as she smiled and patted him on the cheek, \n\"That's my boy~! I'll go over and fetch the cubs over now before I've got to leave.\"\nThe fox watched his mother stepping out and going over to both of their neighbours to grab up the kids in need of a babysitter, instantly starting to regret his decision as he already began hearing some hooting and hollering coming from the first house that she walked over to. Sheldon suddenly remembered what he'd left sitting out in the open, quickly dashing upstairs and into his room, looking around before spotting a box of suppositories on his writing desk. He shoved the small box into one of the drawers, not wanting the visiting puppies to see the slightly humiliating way he had to take his nightly medication with the help of his mom, wiping his brow and sighing in relief at having remembered to stash his embarrassing secrets away before it was too late, hoping that the nosy kids wouldn't turn over his bedroom like the last time around they were over. \n\nA few minutes after she left, Sheldon's mother returned with the two visitors in tow, the pair immediately running into the house and chasing each other around the living room, screaming and giggling as the young fox watched from the stairs with a worried look. The first of the dogs was the six year old shiba Brian, his coat a light cream colour, his tail curling up to his back as he clambered over the sofa to leap at his friend, missing and stumbling face first into the rug, quickly bouncing back up to his feet with a laugh. The second cub in need of babysitting was a dalmatian named Tommy, nearly just as big as the shiba even though he was about a year younger than Brian, his long tail almost tripping him over as he peeked over his shoulder while sprinting around the living room. The neighbourhood was a very close knit one, which meant that kids from many different neighbours were often looked after by one of them, meaning that Sheldon had spent an unfortunate amount of time cooped up with the rowdy pair. The mother laughed lightly as she held up her hands, trying to get the unruly kids to calm down at least a little, \n\"Alright, c'mon now you two, cool it down. I'll have to go to the city for a little bit, but Sheldon will look over you two until I get back. Remember to listen to him!\" \nThe two dogs quieted down and sat down, seemingly willing to actually listen to commands for once in their lives. The kit was almost feeling hopeful for the evening until his mom turned her back to pick up her purse, the two pups immediately leaning in close to whisper and giggle while they stared at the little fox on the stairs with malicious stares, his carefully optimistic smile quickly turning more sour.
