This book allows him to use magic without the need to be a wizard. But sometime, he has difficulty to using it. Most of the time, when he try to use a spell, that doesn't work. But she only communicates with Elliot. Anaïs, like all haunted dolls, is very susceptible. She can't stand to be ignored or made fun of. She's capable of hurting anyone who would disrespect her. But she doesn't, because she made a deal with Elliot. She doesn't hurt people anymore and in exchange Elliot research a way to break the curse so she can get back to her normal form. Sometimes, Anaïs come with Elliot on his adventures. There is a real trust and friendship between them. Anaïs uses her powers only to fight their enemies or protect Elliot. She will protect Elliot no matter what. If you ever hurt Elliot, Anaïs will be extremely cruel with you.\n\nHe also inscribes itself on a forum specialized in the paranormal and conspiracy theories where it presents the reports of these investigations. It is on this forum that he will meet another paranormal specialist, Webby Vanderquack. She is one of the few people he totally trusts. One day, he conducted an investigation with her.
