I've been noticing some people who are into dungeons and dragons homebrew depicting their own versions of Dragonborn sporting features reminiscent to actual chromatic and metallic dragons, opposed to the Dragonborn we got for canon forgotten realms, so I decided, hey I might as well give my own take on it, and give it a shot, I sort of have my own custom version of the Dragonborn race that fallows this idea, so ended up starting here with this lady, a Dragonborn that is based on what are arguably one of the more underappreciated chromatic dragon types, none other than the yellow dragon! A dragon that has not been updated since dungeons and dragons second edition! Just look! https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Yellow_dragon So I kinda had to improvise a bit here and there with what I could work with when using the 2nd edition yellow dragon as a point of reference, so to speak! Was very surprised how it turned out at the end, plus that headplate on the yellow dragons, on this Dragonborn, looks almost like a fancy headpiece you expect someone from an ancient civilization to wear based on the way I designed it, Ha! :XD: It even looks partially metallic to, as if it were made of electrum, even though she's a chromatic Dragonborn, but that has more to do with the way things are set up in my DnD inspired homebrew setting, which I am working on!\n\nI will probably get into the Dragonborn lore for my homebrew setting next time when I have the time, and oh boy it's going to require a whole lot of it, considering that I have made some deliberate design choices to set my Dragonborn apart from the forgotten realms counterparts!\n\nOver all, I like how it turned out! :D I do plan on doing more of these based on other types of dragons in the future, if I don't get art-block again! ;)\n\nI definitely like how this turned out!
