"writing": "The Godly Tournament\n(Finale)\n\n“STAND UP BEELZEBUB!!” shouted Famine as he leaned forwards in the seat. The tournament had reached the semifinal and he had managed to best Anubis in combat, not without a proper pounding to his little body. The God was efficient with his weapons and magic. By that time, Beelzebub was fighting against Vishnu who had used a barrage of attacks against the demon.\n\n“E-easier said than done…” grunted Beelzebub kneeling down and panting. He had broken a leg already was unable to stand up. He’d be cured in a couple of hours for sure, but by that moment…\n\nVishnu got ready and launched a punch at the fallen demon as he looked up. Beelzebub only managed to look at the giant fist going at him.\n\n“F-Fuck…” grunted the kid as a cloud of dust lifted on impact.\n\n“BEEL!” shouted Famine gasping as Vishnu lifted the hand.\n\n“Sorry little one…” softly said the God as he shook his hand showing the defeated demon lying on the floor unconscious “Be glad at least, this is a friendly competition or I’d have used my weapons for their real use.”\n\nFamine was gritting his teeth hearing that. How dared him say that?! But his father placed a hand over his shoulder and the horseman understood. He was up against Vishnu and anger would only hinder his performance. Of course, Vishnu was one of the oldest Gods in the tournament and while other pantheons had entered young representatives, he had decided to go in himself. It was not a surprise tho, they had won the last tournaments. They for sure wanted to keep the streak.\n\n“You think you’re ready?” asked The Engineer “I wouldn’t blame you if you want to drop off.”\n\n“I…” Famine looked at Vishnu, and then at the healers taking Beelzebub out of the arena. He clenched his fists and jumped from his seat to the ground.\n\n“Oh? The little rider” calmly said Vishnu “I foresee you wanting the battle right now.”\n\n“What you eat that you guessed?” asked Famine, still angry for the defeat of Beelzebub.\n\nThe people looked at the arena surprised looking at the horseman and the God facing each other. Ready to go. Famine looked way too serious, even bigger than what he usually was, just with one thought in mind. Defeat Vishnu at whatever cost.\n\n“Then I see no problem, I’m not tired at all” agreed Vishnu reducing his size to one more suitable again “Shall we?”\n\nWithout a moment of hesitation Famine attacked Vishnu summoning his hammer and slamming on the God’s open palm making a soundwave that shook the whole arena. Surprised to not having even being able to move him a bit he pulled away and continued slamming hard, but the Hindi God didn’t move an inch. Instead, Vishnu moved trying to pull the hammer only finding he was unable to tug it.\n\n“Good luck next time” shouted Famine pulling back again and hammering at Vishnu once more “Only I can wield Judgment! You cannot expect to move it on your own!”\n\n“Then… it’s easier to let it pass” Vishnu said moving in the moment Famine made a fierce slam forcing the rider to lose balance. In the seats, Famine heard War shouting something, something he wasn’t able to understand until he felt the stinging pain “I’m sorry for this”\n\nFamine flew to the wall. He had been punched right on the ribs and then it hit him, War was shouting him to watch out… The stadium burst in gasps and loud noises as the battle apparently reached its end. Famine slid from the wall and fell face first on the dirt gasping for air. That punch was too much. And he had just done what his father tried to prevent him to do. The slate was about to erase his name when Famine kneeled up.\n\n“I-I’m not… a goner yet” growled the horseman looking at the now imposing figure of Vishnu in front of him.\n\n“Are you sure, little one? We could end this peacefull”\n\n“I… I am still young” grunted Famine as he stood up shaking, every single bone of his body screaming for him to stop. “I might still be a kid but… I am… OLDER… THAN YOU!”\n\nFamine tried to regain his energy and lifting a hand he shoot fireballs at Vishnu who simply swatted them like if they were flies. But the horseman had the other hand already working and from the shadows, a giant claw gripped the ankle of the God tugging.\n\n“Pretty intelligent little one, but light can burn out darkness” stated Vishnu as his body shone bright and the shadow claw burned away.\n\n“Yeah! Good thing I already faced Amaterasu” shouted Famine running to Vishnu with the eyes half covered with a hand.\n\nThe black rider jumped and piston a punch right across Vishnu’s face. The God didn’t even stumbled back, actually it looked like if he had seen it coming. Famine didn’t even looked annoyed by that. Instead, his serious face had finally changed into a smile. Vishnu looked at him, did he had something planned or…\n\n“Hehe… a challenge finally…” he murmured as he kicked Vishnu’s chest to jump away from him.\n\n“Weren’t the others a challenge?” asked Vishnu.\n\n“Yes they were” nodded Famine, Ares, Amaterasu, Quetzalcoatl, Thor, Anubis… they all were formidable oponents… but even if I was weaker than them, I managed to move them” the horseman smiled wider “I… I can’t even move you with my strongest punch. You’re like a mountain I’m not able to oppose.”\n\n“Then why continue?” asked Vishnu “Wouldn’t it be wiser to know when to…”\n\n“Because if I give up now then I’ll only prove that I’m nothing to face stronger people and challenges” claimed Famine.\n\n“Very well then” nodded Vishnu and grew considerably giant, bigger even than the stadium “Let’s see if you think the same way after this.”\n\nVishnu’s voice was always calm, centered and focused. Of course, he wasn’t moved at all, and now he was letting his four hands fall over the horseman. Famine looked up and snapped the tongue.\n\nThe crowd gasped as the hands slammed down and another cloud of dust lifted. War shouted something, The Engineer looked surprised and worried at the scene while Plague looked at Death, but his brother was smiling. At least Virgil was not killed by that, otherwise Death would be shaken… but then…\n\n“W-why are you…” started to ask Plague but Death winked an eye to her.\n\n“Look there” he pointed with the head.\n\n“W-where?” the white horseman looked at the battle arena and noticed a slight sign of surprise on Vishnu’s face. He was struggling a bit, his arms shaking close to the ground, all four hands had stopped a little more than a meter above the ground.\n\nVishnu struggled trying to reach his hands to the ground but he couldn’t. There was something that prevented him to do it. Something too strong. And then, his hands were lifted with surprising ease as the black horseman appeared finally sporting his whole armor on. He had managed to summon it before the impact and it protected him. The golden and black armor shone in the sun and Famine stood up again.\n\n“W-wow… I never… thought this would happen” smiled Famine inside the helmet “Guess we might be even now?”\n\n“Looks like it” said Vishnu returning to a considerable size. His face had changed a bit… was he losing his temper? “But I won’t let you defeat me.”\n\nThis time it was Vishnu who started the attack and punched Famine right across the face sending him flying and rolling on the ground. But the horseman managed to stand up surprisingly fast and spring back into action punching Vishnu across the chest, unable to move him at all. That wouldn’t do. But still it was the best he could do. \n\nSoon Famine was flaming at Vishnu with magic missiles and elemental attacks bursting the dirt of the arena all over the place. Vishnu didn’t moved at all, just blocked, but his face looked less and less patient by the second. Every time he hit Famine, the horseman managed to block the attack and give it back. The battle had started to take time, something no one else had managed to do against him during the tournament. He had beat every foe in less than 10 minutes, the weaker ones even in less than 10 seconds. But Famine was proving to be a thorn on his side.\n\n“Why won’t you just give up?” asked Vishnu finally raising a bit the tone of his voice.\n\n“Because it annoys you that I come back again and again” said Famine landing finally a punch that moved Vishnu less than a millimeter “And because I finally made you flinch a bit”\n\n“W-what?” asked Vishnu looking down and noticing the small dragging mark his barefoot had made on the dirt. Famine stood proud in front of him “H-how… could you... DO THAT?!” He finally showed a sign of anger.\n\n“Perseverance” admitted Famine panting and gasping for air “Now, to move you two millimeters!”\n\nThe horseman once more rushed at Vishnu but the elder God blocked each attack with more strength than before surprising the rider. Each clash of fist against leg or fist lifted a cloud of dust and soon Vishnu attacked more fiercely summoning both the golden mace and the chakra. The horseman gasped and felt the mace slam his guts and send him flying. Then the chakra flew towards him impacting on the neck protection of the armor and bouncing back to Vishnu’s hand.\n\n“HEY! That was a kill shot!” shouted Famine but he saw Vishnu growing up again and slamming him down with the mace.\n\n“I’ll show everyone who the strongest pantheon is!” shouted Vishnu finally showing more emotions than his usually calm personality “You think it doesn’t sting that people will forget about us leaving us with a smaller group of follower while your father and you will gain more and more by the second?”\n\n“W-what?!” shouted Famine as he landed spinning so he landed on his feet “What does that has to... HEY!” Famine had to dodge the mace once more managing to escape being crushed.\n\n“I’m more powerful than your father!” the statement raised gasps from the presents there while The Engineer simply smiled “I wanted to fight him to prove it! But I got… to slam his rascal!”\n\n“Aren’t you supposed to be all calm and relaxation?” asked Famine mocking a bit only to be kicked to the sky again.\n\n“Show more respect kid!”\n\nVishnu started punching Famine without mercy as the horseman defended the best he could blocking but being unable to answer any of the blows. He had to try something, he had to defeat him fast. He wasn’t going to allow him to mock his pantheon nor his father.\n\n“I can make life too! MANY OF US CAN!” said Vishnu “We have power beyond imagination! And I can even create worlds in my sleep!”\n\n“I see” said Famine and an idea popped into his head, but how to prevent Vishnu knowing where he was going to go now? “That doesn’t mean you are what you claim to be!” You create worlds that are in your dreams and disappear when you wake up? Easy thing to do!”\n\nThe statement angered the God who increased the speed of his attacks going harder and wilder by the second. Famine started receiving the punches and had to pop his wings up to continue the battle without falling, what increased his handicap trying to prevent Vishnu to break or rip them.\n\n“I’ll show that my pantheon is the strongest!” Claimed Vishnu.\n\n“You have for years, while we didn’t come” argued Famine, finally exhausted “Besides… aren’t you supposed to represent the goodness? You’re acting quite barbaric now… so much passion to destroy me. Am I going to face another personality of yours soon?”\n\n“How dare you?!” said Vishnu as he slammed Famine to the ground with a punch like he had done to Beelzebub, only to realize he had done that over his own shadow “Don’t you dare to…”\n\nBut Famine had already sunk in the shadow. He closed the eyes and tried to foresee but the only thing he could see… \n\n“GNOSEOS!”\n\nA large barrage of sleeping spells slammed right on his body from his large shadow. Hands, feet, toes, fingers, fingernails, chest, nipples, every part of him was being slammed with them. He focused to not fall asleep and then he heard it behind him, but was too focused in not falling asleep like to turn and smack Famine who was now flying towards his head.\n\n“Why don’t you go and create your perfect world in your dreams?” asked Famine as he reached the god’s head “That way you won’t be insulting my father nor my pantheon!”\n\n“You little…”\n\n“GNOSEOS!” shouted Famine as he casted the spell, the beam of dark brightness pierced Vishnu’s head and went right through popping out in the front. No lethal damage of course, the spell had just been so powerful the God immediately fell asleep never to wake up again. \n\nThe Gods at the seats gasped looking at the colossus about to fall over them and started to fly, run or teleport away. But before Vishnu landed over the stadium, Famine managed to stop him souring and stopping his fall struggling before gently allow him to rest over the seats and squirm his way out of beneath the colossal God. He sat on one of the sits and his armor finally disappeared. He was absolutely exhausted.\n\n“Does this mean I win?” asked Famine panting as he saw the slate erasing Vishnu’s name and writing his in golden giant letters, and above the legend that read ‘Sion’s the strongest pantheon’.\n\n--- o ---\n\nThe noises around the infirmary were louder when Beelzebub finally woke up. The first thing he saw was his cousin lying in a bed with bandages around the chest and arms. The demon sighed. For sure he lost… But then he heard his brother Asmodeous getting close to him.\n\n“Look at him, the sleeping beauty is taking his glamour sleep” he laughed “Well deserved after what he did to Vishnu…”\n\n“W-What?” shouted Beelzebub trying to stand up but only managing to scream in pain “DAMN IT! I’m still beaten up!”\n\n“Rest up lil fly” stated Lucifer entering with his elegant robes “Our little cousin put Vishnu into eternal slumber for him to “have his own little perfect world where he was more powerful than uncle.”\n\n“I see…” growled Beelzebub looking at Famine who was sleeping gently “He got all roughed up…”\n\n“Yes he did” nodded The Engineer walking in followed by the other three horseman “Though he didn’t had to do it. He could have just forfeited, but he got really angry about what he did to you.”\n\n“F-for real?!” asked surprised Beelzebub.\n\n“Yep” nodded War, he loves his cousin that much “Tho he has to wake up for the closure ceremony… and we still have a giant sleeping God taking his eternal nap all over the stadium…”\n\nThe Godly Tournament stopped that day. Who’d have thought putting into eternal slumber a God would gain you the title of most dangerous being besides the permanent title for your Pantheon. But despite that, mortals still don’t know about all this… for them, we all live in separate reigns. For them, some of us do not exist while others do. Or some are real Gods while the others are inventions of humans. It doesn’t matter. Their faith in us do not affect us, we’re our individual beings from a different realm from theirs. And that’s how things must stay. In the modern world they live in, there’s no place for us… like in our world of magic and power, there’s no place for them.\n\n",

The God didn&rsquo;t even stumbled back, actually it looked like if he had seen it coming. Famine didn&rsquo;t even looked annoyed by that. Instead, his serious face had finally changed into a smile. Vishnu looked at him, did he had something planned or&hellip;<br /><br />&ldquo;Hehe&hellip; a challenge finally&hellip;&rdquo; he murmured as he kicked Vishnu&rsquo;s chest to jump away from him.<br /><br />&ldquo;Weren&rsquo;t the others a challenge?&rdquo; asked Vishnu.<br /><br />&ldquo;Yes they were&rdquo; nodded Famine, Ares, Amaterasu, Quetzalcoatl, Thor, Anubis&hellip; they all were formidable oponents&hellip; but even if I was weaker than them, I managed to move them&rdquo; the horseman smiled wider &ldquo;I&hellip; I can&rsquo;t even move you with my strongest punch. You&rsquo;re like a mountain I&rsquo;m not able to oppose.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Then why continue?&rdquo; asked Vishnu &ldquo;Wouldn&rsquo;t it be wiser to know when to&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Because if I give up now then I&rsquo;ll only prove that I&rsquo;m nothing to face stronger people and challenges&rdquo; claimed Famine.<br /><br />&ldquo;Very well then&rdquo; nodded Vishnu and grew considerably giant, bigger even than the stadium &ldquo;Let&rsquo;s see if you think the same way after this.&rdquo;<br /><br />Vishnu&rsquo;s voice was always calm, centered and focused. Of course, he wasn&rsquo;t moved at all, and now he was letting his four hands fall over the horseman. Famine looked up and snapped the tongue.<br /><br />The crowd gasped as the hands slammed down and another cloud of dust lifted. War shouted something, The Engineer looked surprised and worried at the scene while Plague looked at Death, but his brother was smiling. At least Virgil was not killed by that, otherwise Death would be shaken&hellip; but then&hellip;<br /><br />&ldquo;W-why are you&hellip;&rdquo; started to ask Plague but Death winked an eye to her.<br /><br />&ldquo;Look there&rdquo; he pointed with the head.<br /><br />&ldquo;W-where?&rdquo; the white horseman looked at the battle arena and noticed a slight sign of surprise on Vishnu&rsquo;s face. He was struggling a bit, his arms shaking close to the ground, all four hands had stopped a little more than a meter above the ground.<br /><br />Vishnu struggled trying to reach his hands to the ground but he couldn&rsquo;t. There was something that prevented him to do it. Something too strong. And then, his hands were lifted with surprising ease as the black horseman appeared finally sporting his whole armor on. He had managed to summon it before the impact and it protected him. The golden and black armor shone in the sun and Famine stood up again.<br /><br />&ldquo;W-wow&hellip; I never&hellip; thought this would happen&rdquo; smiled Famine inside the helmet &ldquo;Guess we might be even now?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Looks like it&rdquo; said Vishnu returning to a considerable size. His face had changed a bit&hellip; was he losing his temper? &ldquo; But I won&rsquo;t let you defeat me.&rdquo;<br /><br />This time it was Vishnu who started the attack and punched Famine right across the face sending him flying and rolling on the ground. But the horseman managed to stand up surprisingly fast and spring back into action punching Vishnu across the chest, unable to move him at all. That wouldn&rsquo;t do. But still it was the best he could do. <br /><br />Soon Famine was flaming at Vishnu with magic missiles and elemental attacks bursting the dirt of the arena all over the place. Vishnu didn&rsquo;t moved at all, just blocked, but his face looked less and less patient by the second. Every time he hit Famine, the horseman managed to block the attack and give it back. The battle had started to take time, something no one else had managed to do against him during the tournament. He had beat every foe in less than 10 minutes, the weaker ones even in less than 10 seconds. But Famine was proving to be a thorn on his side.<br /><br />&ldquo;Why won&rsquo;t you just give up?&rdquo; asked Vishnu finally raising a bit the tone of his voice.<br /><br />&ldquo;Because it annoys you that I come back again and again&rdquo; said Famine landing finally a punch that moved Vishnu less than a millimeter &ldquo; And because I finally made you flinch a bit&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;W-what?&rdquo; asked Vishnu looking down and noticing the small dragging mark his barefoot had made on the dirt. Famine stood proud in front of him &ldquo;H-how&hellip; could you... DO THAT?!&rdquo; He finally showed a sign of anger.<br /><br />&ldquo;Perseverance&rdquo; admitted Famine panting and gasping for air &ldquo; Now, to move you two millimeters!&rdquo;<br /><br />The horseman once more rushed at Vishnu but the elder God blocked each attack with more strength than before surprising the rider. Each clash of fist against leg or fist lifted a cloud of dust and soon Vishnu attacked more fiercely summoning both the golden mace and the chakra. The horseman gasped and felt the mace slam his guts and send him flying. Then the chakra flew towards him impacting on the neck protection of the armor and bouncing back to Vishnu&rsquo;s hand.<br /><br />&ldquo;HEY! That was a kill shot!&rdquo; shouted Famine but he saw Vishnu growing up again and slamming him down with the mace.<br /><br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;ll show everyone who the strongest pantheon is!&rdquo; shouted Vishnu finally showing more emotions than his usually calm personality &ldquo; You think it doesn&rsquo;t sting that people will forget about us leaving us with a smaller group of follower while your father and you will gain more and more by the second?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;W-what?!&rdquo; shouted Famine as he landed spinning so he landed on his feet &ldquo; What does that has to... HEY!&rdquo; Famine had to dodge the mace once more managing to escape being crushed.<br /><br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;m more powerful than your father!&rdquo; the statement raised gasps from the presents there while The Engineer simply smiled &ldquo;I wanted to fight him to prove it! But I got&hellip; to slam his rascal!&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Aren&rsquo;t you supposed to be all calm and relaxation?&rdquo; asked Famine mocking a bit only to be kicked to the sky again.<br /><br />&ldquo;Show more respect kid!&rdquo;<br /><br />Vishnu started punching Famine without mercy as the horseman defended the best he could blocking but being unable to answer any of the blows. He had to try something, he had to defeat him fast. He wasn&rsquo;t going to allow him to mock his pantheon nor his father.<br /><br />&ldquo;I can make life too! MANY OF US CAN!&rdquo; said Vishnu &ldquo; We have power beyond imagination! And I can even create worlds in my sleep!&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;I see&rdquo; said Famine and an idea popped into his head, but how to prevent Vishnu knowing where he was going to go now? &ldquo; That doesn&rsquo;t mean you are what you claim to be!&rdquo; You create worlds that are in your dreams and disappear when you wake up? Easy thing to do!&rdquo;<br /><br />The statement angered the God who increased the speed of his attacks going harder and wilder by the second. Famine started receiving the punches and had to pop his wings up to continue the battle without falling, what increased his handicap trying to prevent Vishnu to break or rip them.<br /><br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;ll show that my pantheon is the strongest!&rdquo; Claimed Vishnu.<br /><br />&ldquo;You have for years, while we didn&rsquo;t come&rdquo; argued Famine, finally exhausted &ldquo;Besides&hellip; aren&rsquo;t you supposed to represent the goodness? You&rsquo;re acting quite barbaric now&hellip; so much passion to destroy me. Am I going to face another personality of yours soon?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;How dare you?!&rdquo; said Vishnu as he slammed Famine to the ground with a punch like he had done to Beelzebub, only to realize he had done that over his own shadow &ldquo;Don&rsquo;t you dare to&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />But Famine had already sunk in the shadow. He closed the eyes and tried to foresee but the only thing he could see&hellip; <br /><br />&ldquo;GNOSEOS!&rdquo;<br /><br />A large barrage of sleeping spells slammed right on his body from his large shadow. Hands, feet, toes, fingers, fingernails, chest, nipples, every part of him was being slammed with them. He focused to not fall asleep and then he heard it behind him, but was too focused in not falling asleep like to turn and smack Famine who was now flying towards his head.<br /><br />&ldquo;Why don&rsquo;t you go and create your perfect world in your dreams?&rdquo; asked Famine as he reached the god&rsquo;s head &ldquo; That way you won&rsquo;t be insulting my father nor my pantheon!&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;You little&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;GNOSEOS!&rdquo; shouted Famine as he casted the spell, the beam of dark brightness pierced Vishnu&rsquo;s head and went right through popping out in the front. No lethal damage of course, the spell had just been so powerful the God immediately fell asleep never to wake up again. <br /><br />The Gods at the seats gasped looking at the colossus about to fall over them and started to fly, run or teleport away. But before Vishnu landed over the stadium, Famine managed to stop him souring and stopping his fall struggling before gently allow him to rest over the seats and squirm his way out of beneath the colossal God. He sat on one of the sits and his armor finally disappeared. He was absolutely exhausted.<br /><br />&ldquo;Does this mean I win?&rdquo; asked Famine panting as he saw the slate erasing Vishnu&rsquo;s name and writing his in golden giant letters, and above the legend that read &lsquo;Sion&rsquo;s the strongest pantheon&rsquo;.<br /><br />--- o ---<br /><br />The noises around the infirmary were louder when Beelzebub finally woke up. The first thing he saw was his cousin lying in a bed with bandages around the chest and arms. The demon sighed. For sure he lost&hellip; But then he heard his brother Asmodeous getting close to him.<br /><br />&ldquo;Look at him, the sleeping beauty is taking his glamour sleep&rdquo; he laughed &ldquo;Well deserved after what he did to Vishnu&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;W-What?&rdquo; shouted Beelzebub trying to stand up but only managing to scream in pain &ldquo;DAMN IT! I&rsquo;m still beaten up!&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Rest up lil fly&rdquo; stated Lucifer entering with his elegant robes &ldquo; Our little cousin put Vishnu into eternal slumber for him to &ldquo;have his own little perfect world where he was more powerful than uncle.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;I see&hellip;&rdquo; growled Beelzebub looking at Famine who was sleeping gently &ldquo; He got all roughed up&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Yes he did&rdquo; nodded The Engineer walking in followed by the other three horseman &ldquo;Though he didn&rsquo;t had to do it. He could have just forfeited, but he got really angry about what he did to you.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;F-for real?!&rdquo; asked surprised Beelzebub.<br /><br />&ldquo;Yep&rdquo; nodded War, he loves his cousin that much &ldquo;Tho he has to wake up for the closure ceremony&hellip; and we still have a giant sleeping God taking his eternal nap all over the stadium&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />The Godly Tournament stopped that day. Who&rsquo;d have thought putting into eternal slumber a God would gain you the title of most dangerous being besides the permanent title for your Pantheon. But despite that, mortals still don&rsquo;t know about all this&hellip; for them, we all live in separate reigns. For them, some of us do not exist while others do. Or some are real Gods while the others are inventions of humans. It doesn&rsquo;t matter. Their faith in us do not affect us, we&rsquo;re our individual beings from a different realm from theirs. And that&rsquo;s how things must stay. In the modern world they live in, there&rsquo;s no place for us&hellip; like in our world of magic and power, there&rsquo;s no place for them.<br /><br /></span>",
