"writing": "Her New Job\n\nWritten by Arian Mabe (Amethyst Mare)\nCommissioned by anonymous\n\n\n“Oof, here we go.”\n\nFarrah took a breath, the red-furred husky smiling back at Eli, her boyfriend, who waved her off with a grin and a double thumbs-up. Of course, Eli had faith in her: he always did. That was one of many things, with her sweetheart, she could count on. And she was very fortunate indeed that her red panda partner had got her the interview with Mr Jones in the first place, though she’d got the job through her own skills and talent. Even though Farrah wondered sometimes, Eli would not have had her believe anything else on that matter.\n\nShe, of course, had dressed professionally, although Eli was a little more risqué than she was, even though they were both grateful that his office allowed him to dress as he pleased. Whereas there was a professional standard to be adhered to, he’d dressed up that day in a black skirt that, perhaps, was a shade too short on his thighs with matching, long, black stockings. His blouse was tucked in – the buttons on the opposite side than they would have been on shirts designed for male furs – and the purple silk brushed lightly against his fur with every shift of his body. Professional, black heels completed the ensemble, though he made sure not to go too far with them when he was at work. He had other, more daring ones, for nights out and the like.\n\nLetting Farrah go alone to her new job, as his boss’ secretary, was challenging, however. He wanted to rush in, to do things for her – though the red panda knew when he had to take a step back too. He couldn’t do her job for her and, really, his work in the financial office was more on the administration side. Sometimes, he helped with the spreadsheets and the like, though the panda was more than comfortable with his assistance role. Covering for others who were out on leave made some parts of his job more interesting, however.\n\nI wish I could see more of what she’s doing today, what’s going on. \n\nFarrah tried to concentrate on his work, having a chat over coffee with Susan and getting the paperwork all presented nicely in folders for Gerard’s meeting, but his mind wasn’t on his work, as much as it should have been. Even when he was sitting at his desk in the open-plan part of the office, sunshine streaming in through the windows, his red tail flicked back and forth anxiously, the bands drawing the eye. \n\nHe tried not to be too obvious about looking for Farrah, checking around his boss’ office and the staff lunch area, though it looked like she must have gone for lunch with Mark. The big, grey wolf preferred to be called by his first name, though there were some in the company that insisted on speaking to him more formally. That would have made Eli feel weird, if he pushed against what someone else had asked of him in that manner.\n\nThe staff lunch area was nice and bright, airy – but it wasn’t big enough for the full staff to all take their lunch together, even though there was a small kitchen area too. The culture there was to go out for food or have it delivered, though there were a few that headed out to the nearby park to eat their lunch on the benches there too, if the weather was nice.\n\nBut there was no sight of Mark and Farrah at all; even the wolf’s office was dark. The door was closed and the blinds were down, though he wouldn’t have ever entered without permission anyway – not even to look for Farrah. They couldn’t be there, he was sure of it.\n\n“Ah!”\n\nHe made a small sound, his mouth full of sandwich and his ears pricking up. The rounded edges of them turned lightly back and forth, catching the sound of Farrah’s voice, light and musical, floating down the hallway.\n\n“Thanks again for taking me out, Mark, that was so lovely of you…”\n\nHer words trailed off as they moved down another hallway, though the panda caught a chuckling laugh from the wolf too. He had such a nice, deep voice that it could not fail to carry, as if he was a bass tone that carried the company in more ways than one.\n\nHe didn’t get the chance to speak to Farrah until later that day – mid-afternoon – and caught up with her in the kitchen where he was getting coffee.\n\n“Oh! How’s it going?” Eli rushed in, his paws clasped together as he practically bounced – yet could not too much due to the heels on his hind paws. “You don’t have to get coffee, I’ll sort that. I know just how Mark likes it. Is there anyone else I need to do one for?”\n\nQuick and efficient, he took over the task that was absolutely in his job description, setting about brewing a fresh pot of coffee right away. It would take a moment, but they had a fancy machine there, which helped a lot.\n\n“It’s going so well, Eli,” Farrah said warmly, tucking a strand of dark red hair back behind her ear. “Thanks so much, love… But I’ve got to get back too, Mark’s expecting me. Bring these over to us in the office, won’t you?”\n\nHis smile could not have gone any wider as he nodded quickly.\n\n“Of course! You get back to work – I’ve got this!”\n\nShe’s so busy, there must be a lot for her to do on her first day too.\n\nHe sympathised with her, but still took the extra few seconds needed to make sure Mark’s coffee, along with Farrah’s too, was brewed perfectly. Not too long and not too quickly either: it had to be just right. At least he had that kind of attention to detail and could make sure Mark was in as good a mood for Farrah as he could, at least from his particular role.\n\nShe’s right too, he thought, carrying the two coffees on a small tray back over to Mark’s office, careful not to spill a drop. Mark was really nice to treat her to lunch. I’m so glad they’re getting along well!\n\nThings really could not have been going better – especially not as her laugh cut through the air was he approached Mark’s office once more. That time, the lights were on and the door was cracked open. He appreciated that very much, considering how he was carrying the coffee on the tray and didn’t quite think he had a free paw to open the door with otherwise.\n\n“Knock-knock,” he chirped breezily as he bumped the door open a little more with his shoulder and poked his head in, although remaining respectfully still on the other side of the threshold. “Can I come in? Coffee delivery!”\n\nMark smiled warmly at him, though the wolf’s eyes were quick to dart back to Farrah, who was perched on the corner of his desk. She had her paw on his arm and Eli’s heart warmed.\n\nHow lucky were they to be getting along so well so soon? He honestly couldn’t have planned things any better if he’d wanted to, tail lifting and wagging as Mark waved him in.\n\nMaybe the red panda should have thought a little more about why his boss and his girlfriend were as close with one another as that, though Eli just saw nothing wrong with it. Not even as he set the coffees on the desk carefully, using Mark’s favourite placemats with the car motifs on them.\n\n“So, we’ll have IT get you get up on the system,” Mark continued, as if Eli was not even there. “After that, we’ll see about the budget to get you on the roster for the conference in a couple of months too. It’ll be great experience for you.”\n\n“Of course!” Farrah said with a smile, looking more relaxed around her muzzle (she tended to hold a little tension there). “I’ll be glad to come. Is that an overnight one, or was it the one a couple of hours drive away that you mentioned? I’m sorry, I’m getting mixed up.”\n\n“Oh, it’s the overnight one, though sometimes I stay an extra day to make the most of the sights and the city too,” Mark confirmed, reaching across the husky for some paperwork. “Anyway, next we should go over the details of the clients that may need to speak to me directly. You will need to triage them, in a way, so the lesser queries are dealt with or delegated appropriately, while anything high-stakes will come straight to me. That’s something you’ll get a feel for with a little time and training.”\n\nEli didn’t feel like he needed to be there, so he nodded with a smile and slipped out slowly. Yet when the wolf withdrew his paw, with the paperwork tucked between his fingers, it looked like he’d grazed the canine’s breast with the back of his paw.\n\nOof! He hoped neither of them had noticed that, or he had mistaken what he’d seen. That would have been too awkward for both of them and he didn’t want them to have to deal with it – and on Farrah’s first day too! He would have been squirming with embarrassment if that or even something similar had happened to him!\n\nHe paused outside the office, the tray pressed in against his chest so the flat of it smoothed against his silk blouse lightly. They seemed close, Farrah leaning in nearer Mark when she really could have seen from being a little further back.\n\nIf he didn’t know any better…the red panda would have said that the husky and the wolf were into each other. Something in his stomach stirred, like a twisted knot, and he shook his head, not knowing what to think about that. Surely, he had to be reading too much into it…right?\n\nMaybe it’s not such a bad thing if they like each other? Eli tried to reason with himself, turning away as Farrah nestled in so close to the boss, at his computer, that their shoulders touched, the husky bending forward. It might make their work relationship even better, as long as they’re getting along.\n\nStill, Eli couldn’t shake the notion that, if he was out on an evening with Farrah, he would have seen that very situation as someone obviously being attracted to her. The signs were subtle, as they often were, but they were there if one was paying attention.\n\nThe twitch of Mark’s lips. The warmth in his eyes. How he’d perhaps-maybe touched Farrah’s breast.\n\nAnd then there was Farrah: comfortable being closer to him than Eli had seen her with anyone else. And that laugh… She didn’t laugh like that for just anyone.\n\nNo, you’re being silly, he told himself, pushing himself back to work with a short, ragged huff. You need to let her do what she needs to. This is her job now and she’s got to get on with Mark. \n\nAfter all, it was not as if there was anything actually wrong with what the husky was doing. He couldn’t say that in the slightest. Yet the whole thing left him a little on edge as he kept an eye on them moving through the office in the afternoon, how Farrah walked a little closer to Mark than was necessary. The wolf even made her coffee for her and waved off the red panda when he tried to rush in and do at least that part of his job.\n\nThere may not have been any malice in how Mark brushed him aside, though Eli still felt off-balance, as if something had shifted and the red panda could not quite be sure what. His tail flicked discontentedly as he sat back at his desk, trying to focus on some reports he was meant to be running. Even though he was typically diligent at his job, they just didn’t seem to be important anymore. \n\nFarrah smiled easily at Mark, something warm building at her core, as if it was flickering up from her midsection, spreading heated fingers into every part of her body. Yet the husky didn’t have to do anything about it, letting her new boss introduce her to some others in the office who she’d be working with. Truth be told, the canine hoped she’d be working more closely with Mark, for he had been more than good to her so far.\n\n“And this is Farrah, my wonderful new secretary,” Mark said, once they’d set up in a conference room with one of the sales associates she would need to liaise with from time to time. “Farrah has well and truly hit the ground running and is an asset to the company.”\n\nShe shivered and chuckled politely, though she was not uncomfortable at all with how the wolf lavished praise upon her. In fact…it felt like just what she needed. And she couldn’t stop her eyes from roaming lightly over his broad shoulders, the definition of him showing faintly through his fitted shirt. Even when he was wearing his suit jacket, it was impossible to say that Mark was not physically fit. Even the squeeze of his paw on her arm, when he’d been trying to steady and reassure her in a wavering moment, had felt strong.\n\nStill, she tried to push that from her mind.\n\n“Oh, Mark, you’re flattering me too much,” she said in turn, though even the husky was aware of just how flirty that came out. “But, yes, I will do my best here, as expected. Now, where are we beginning here?”\n\nShe moved the meeting on, where it was her position to make sure they didn’t go over time too and that others didn’t take up too much of her boss’ time. There were a lot of new aspects to her role there that she had to get used to, though Farrah was sure she was going to like being a secretary very much.\n\nRight at the end of the day, Eli collected his coat from the coat stand in the corner of the office, dallying while he wasn’t sure if Farrah would need a ride home with him or now.\n\nI hope Mark isn’t making her stay late? He thought as his tail drooped a bit. That wouldn’t be great. I know it’s her job, but she shouldn’t have to work too hard.\n\nHowever, he was glad to find Farrah near the exit to the building, swiping out (fire and safety regulations) with her staff card. \n\nMark leaned over her, his arm up against the wall, the grey wolf’s eyes crinkled at the corners. Yet Eli would not have been amiss in the slightest to note a little ring of hunger in them.\n\n“I think you’re going to fit in just right here,” Mark said easily, though Farrah looked small before him as the husky smiled less than demurely up at him. “It’s like you’ve been here all along – or perhaps you’re the missing piece we were looking for. The one I was looking for.”\n\n“Well, I don’t have any plans to leave in a hurry,” she said, quick to reply with a slyer smile tugging coyly at her lips. “With someone like you treating me this well, I might just want to stay a really long time.”\n\nThey could have been plain words, or even awkward words, yet a pleasant tension crackled through them. There was more there than what the wolf and the husky were saying.\n\nEli caught his breath, hesitating for a moment. Should he interrupt them? Would that be rude? But Farrah noticed him and nodded to Mark, who smiled and took a step back.\n\n“I’ll let you get on,” he said smoothly. “I’m sure you’ve had quite a…tiring day, Farrah. I’ll see you bright and early in the morning.”\n\nMark stepped around the husky – yet he moved in closer to her at the same time, which didn’t make sense. Eli eyed him as his paw returned to his side. He didn’t want to make a big deal about it, but it really had looked like he’d brushed his paw, maybe just his fingers, across Farrah’s butt as they had parted ways.\n\nSomething hot stirred in the pit of his stomach, not like the nerves, and the red panda shook himself once more. That was something he very much had to push down: it most certainly wasn’t the time or the place for arousal.\n\nChecking his clothes, he smiled and slipped into his coat, though left the front open. \n\n“I hope you have a great first day, hun,” he said, joining her as they walked back to the car, which he would drive so Farrah could rest. “It really looked like you had a lot on your plate – I barely even saw you at all!”\n\nFarrah smiled, the lights of the parking garage cast oddly over her face. If it had been in a film or something like that, someone may have thought that the lighting meant she was hiding a secret. Eli had got into hat kind of stuff for a little bit, though his interest had been passing. Yet the secretive glimmer in her eyes was not to be cast aside too quickly.\n\n“Yes,” she said, seeming faraway as she propped her chin on her paw and stared at the window, the car pulling away from the garage and heading for home. “Mark kept me very busy.”\n\nHe didn’t know if Farrah meant to put that much emphasis on the word, though the panda didn’t pry.\n\nThankfully, things went well for Farrah over the next few weeks, though there were a few more little situations that left the red panda questioning whether he needed to have his eyesight checked. He was so sure there was nothing going on between them (though the raunchy part of his mind said that would be hot), but he kept finding Farrah and Mark in…unusual situations.\n\nSure, he tried to reason with himself. Farrah was a lot touchier with Mark than she was with most others, with whom she preferred to maintain her personal space. It was a good thing that she was that comfortable with her boss, even if that wasn’t something he could have anticipated. \n\nYet her sitting on his boss’ lap… That was a little outside the normal, especially for the office, even though Eli had ducked right back out of the office again with a muttered apology and closed the door. His cheeks seared red and he put his back to the wall, glad there wasn’t anyone in the hallway outside Mark’s office to catch him, though he swore he caught the wolf laughing behind him.\n\nIt’s so silly to be worried. You like that they’re getting along, so why is your heart going like this?\n\nHe ignored the heated rise under his skirt, his feminine underwear clinging a little uncomfortably to a part of his anatomy that Eli would rather have not thought about at that time. So, Eli brushed it all off and carried on with his day, even though his mind was elsewhere.\n\nWhen Farrah joined him for lunch that day, which she didn’t do very often, he had everything ready for her, even down to her favourite drink, which he’d had ordered in.\n\n“You and Mark seem to be managing things so well,” he said, happy to lavish praise on her. “It would be horrible to have a boss you don’t get on with.”\n\nFarrah smiled. She was more relaxed those days, though often deep in thought. Eli wondered what she was thinking about, though hadn’t yet found the courage to ask her. It was as if, to him, he was both afraid and excited by the notion of the answer that could come.\n\n“Mark is wonderful,” Farrah said, just as warmly. “He’s so kind and he always makes sure I have everything I need for work. I don’t feel like I was dropped in the deep end here at all, I’m so lucky.”\n\nEli nodded.\n\n“It’s a totally different environment,” he said, sure he’d got things wrong with seeing her sitting on Mark’s lap after all. “But we all try to work together here and Mark’s just the same. That’s why staff turnover is as low as it is.”\n\nThe light chatter between them made it just a little easier for him to put his concerns from his mind, though they remained rustling in the back of it: like papers he had to still file, reminding him they were still there. Eli, however, focused a little more on his work, though always kept a careful eye out for Farrah. It wasn’t a bad thing, of course, to catch a glimpse of his partner moving through the office, enjoying even how she seemed more confident in her role and herself with every passing day.\n\nThat was why it didn’t seem strange at all to him when he caught the two of them coming out of Mark’s office with Farrah pulling her blouse back into place, her skirt a little hitched up in an odd way. Mark was doing up a button, though there was a glint in the wolf’s eye too. Eli wouldn’t have seen anything if he hadn’t happened to be passing by.\n\n“Oh!” He paused, ever-attentive. “Did someone spill something? You look like you had a change of shirt, Mark – is there anything I can get for you?”\n\nHe smiled, always ready to help wherever needed, though he was right in saying that the wolf had been wearing a different shirt earlier that day. Farrah blushed heavily and took a half-step back, tucking a stray strand of hair back behind her twitching, pointed ear, while Mark smirked.\n\n“No, no,” he said, not offering much more than that. “Everything’s fine.”\n\nEli was not needed and, as if it was merely work and no more than that, he went on his way. Yet he couldn’t help but wonder just what had been going on there.\n\nHe was right, of course, when he said they were attracted to each other. It came out slowly over the next couple of weeks, the days slowly moving by as if Farrah had always been a part of the office. Mark was rarely seen without Farrah by his side, something brushing her paw with his as he showed her something on a document or even helping her tie a scarf around her neck.\n\nEli cocked his head, watching them at the water cooling, how they laughed and leaned into one another as if they were being pushed together by outside forces. With how close they’d been getting, even sitting with their legs brushing in meetings Eli had been asked to bring refreshments to, it only made sense for them to hug next. He could almost feel Farrah against him – but it was Mark drawing her into a brief but warm hug, right there in the open. \n\nShe melted into his body as if she was made for him and, even then, Eli could not help but smile. Yet he felt like he was intruding, an unwanted voyeur, and looked away.\n\nThe moment was not for him to intrude on, something warming inside him while uncertainty wavered.\n\nFarrah wore shorter skirts too, even shorter than Eli’s, though Mark’s eyes obviously dropped to her long, shapely legs. Eli couldn’t help but feel pleased she was being noticed too – even if he was subtly sure his boss’ paw had been on her leg under the table when they’d been sitting at his desk together too.\n\nHow much of it was speculation? They wouldn’t do anything, he was sure of it, but the simmering attraction bubbled up as he caught a whiff of Mark’s aftershave on Farrah’s clothes while he was doing their laundry.\n\n“Hey, Eli?”\n\n“Yeah?”\n\nHe padded through from the utility room, which was adjacent to the kitchen, as Farrah smiled at him. Sitting at the table, she had some work documents spread out, though didn’t seem all that focused on them.\n\n“I’ve got to stay late for a couple of nights at work,” she said, her tail lifting in a faint wag. “It’s to help Mark. Just wanted to let you know I didn’t need you to drive me home for a couple of days.”\n\n“Oh – okay!”\n\nThe words came out a little forced and she caught it that time. Her head tilted and Farrah leaned in a little, her attention entirely off her work.\n\nEli’s eyes roamed down the dining table in the kitchen, as if she had left the fancy box of chocolates out just for him to see. He could guess where they came from and he didn’t know what to make of how the sight of them made his heart race.\n\n“Farrah …” He started slowly, though it was hard to work the words out of his mouth, like his tongue wanted to trap them being the brief barrier of his teeth. “Is… Is Mark flirting with you? Are you okay? I mean… I don’t want you to be in an uncomfortable situation, not at all! Not at work either, especially not at work…”\n\nHe stumbled over his words, unsure if he was being paranoid – for it all seemed so silly when he said it out loud. Farrah chuckled and leaned back in her chair, arms crossed and a twinkle in her eye.\n\n“Why?” She teased, a lighter note in her tone that gave away so much – and yet nothing at all. “Maybe you like that… I’ve seen you watching us too, darling. You like to see.”\n\n“What? No, I don’t… I…”\n\nEli blushed and shook his head, though the red panda didn’t really have an answer for her on that one. Sure, it was a turn-on, obviously, to see his partner getting all that attention… But they were still in a relationship!\n\n“Has he touched you?” Eli asked, though he didn’t know what he wanted the answer to be. “I mean…”\n\n“Why?” She probed again, eyebrows raised and a smirk on her lips. “Are you wanting me to make you the cuck of the office?”\n\nIt was so blunt it took his breath away. And Eli didn’t at all have an answer for her, stumbling over his words like he was a teenager all over again, tail hugged around his lower body.\n\nThey didn’t dig into it more that night, yet the implication hung in the air. There may have been something going on – and there may have been nothing going on. Yet Farrah had hit on exactly what had made Eli squirm, hesitation tangling with need.\n\nThree weeks to the day after Farrah’s start date, he tried to keep an eye on her in the office, even following her around. A part of him wanted to see something and the rest of him wanted confirmation that nothing was going on, two parts in conflict with each other. Eventually, the husky had to stop him down a side hallway, one where a couple of disused offices lay, and give him a gentle kiss on the lips.\n\n“I know you want this too,” she said softly, though swiftly shushed the panda when he tried to question things. “No, none of that. This is for me. Everything is okay and none of this is something you need to worry about.”\n\nHer eyes met his and the panda took a breath. If Farrah said it was okay…he had to trust her. He had to believe her. He simply couldn’t do anything else.\n\nThat gave him permission, at the very least, to enjoy what was happening too. It didn’t have to be so bad, he was sure, if Farrah was happy with it. It was new to him and he liked it, while they had spoken a little about cuckolding before… Maybe it was merely something he had to watch pan out. For it most certainly was not something Eli was to be involved with.\n\nNot yet, anyway. If ever. That was up to Farrah and Mark.\n\nThings are going well and…something might come of this, he thought, though he seemed to end up wrapped up in his own mind more and more recently, even if his work wasn’t slipping. There she goes again – into his office down the hallway and closing the door. They’ve even been lowering the blinds in there more. Mark never used to do that unless he was in a really important meeting.\n\nIt seemed obvious and yet not at the same time. \n\nThat was okay, however. Maybe he wasn’t the kind of guy Mark was, who always seemed to have an uncanny knack for knowing exactly what someone needed.\n\nHowever, one thing Eli could not have anticipated, even though it had flitted through his mind on one or two occasions, was what he found when he knocked and walked into their office. He thought he heard Mark inviting him in – yet that had been a mistake.\n\nFor he found them with Farrah sitting in Mark’s lap, her thighs squeezing his legs, their lips locked. For a moment, they didn’t move, even though they were caught in the act, and he sucked in a short, sharp gasp. The red panda’s chest tightened and he took a shaky step back, instantly forgetting about the papers in his paws, which spilled to the floor in a fluttering wave.\n\n“Uh…”\n\nHe looked at them, seeing in intimate detail how they slowly parted, a string of saliva faintly connecting their lips for a heartbeat of a moment. Farrah’s lips even parted slightly, hinting at a moan.\n\n“Ah – excuse me!”\n\nHe fled, leaving the papers, heat rushing to his groin. Yet he had to get away, swinging hastily around the corner and into the male bathroom as his shaft plumped up in keen need. He leaned against the wall, thankful that it was empty, chest rising and falling sharply in every puff of much-needed breath.\n\nYet Eli couldn’t deny the rise of his erection showing through his black skirt, betraying his deepest but perhaps not his darkest desires.\n\nHer new job had changed everything – for both of them.\n\n",
"writing_bbcode_parsed": "<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>Her New Job<br /><br />Written by Arian Mabe (Amethyst Mare)<br />Commissioned by anonymous<br /><br /><br />&ldquo;Oof, here we go.&rdquo;<br /><br />Farrah took a breath, the red-furred husky smiling back at Eli, her boyfriend, who waved her off with a grin and a double thumbs-up. Of course, Eli had faith in her: he always did. That was one of many things, with her sweetheart, she could count on. And she was very fortunate indeed that her red panda partner had got her the interview with Mr Jones in the first place, though she&rsquo;d got the job through her own skills and talent. Even though Farrah wondered sometimes, Eli would not have had her believe anything else on that matter.<br /><br />She, of course, had dressed professionally, although Eli was a little more risqu&eacute; than she was, even though they were both grateful that his office allowed him to dress as he pleased. Whereas there was a professional standard to be adhered to, he&rsquo;d dressed up that day in a black skirt that, perhaps, was a shade too short on his thighs with matching, long, black stockings. His blouse was tucked in &ndash; the buttons on the opposite side than they would have been on shirts designed for male furs &ndash; and the purple silk brushed lightly against his fur with every shift of his body. Professional, black heels completed the ensemble, though he made sure not to go too far with them when he was at work. He had other, more daring ones, for nights out and the like.<br /><br />Letting Farrah go alone to her new job, as his boss&rsquo; secretary, was challenging, however. He wanted to rush in, to do things for her &ndash; though the red panda knew when he had to take a step back too. He couldn&rsquo;t do her job for her and, really, his work in the financial office was more on the administration side. Sometimes, he helped with the spreadsheets and the like, though the panda was more than comfortable with his assistance role. Covering for others who were out on leave made some parts of his job more interesting, however.<br /><br />I wish I could see more of what she&rsquo;s doing today, what&rsquo;s going on. <br /><br />Farrah tried to concentrate on his work, having a chat over coffee with Susan and getting the paperwork all presented nicely in folders for Gerard&rsquo;s meeting, but his mind wasn&rsquo;t on his work, as much as it should have been. Even when he was sitting at his desk in the open-plan part of the office, sunshine streaming in through the windows, his red tail flicked back and forth anxiously, the bands drawing the eye. <br /><br />He tried not to be too obvious about looking for Farrah, checking around his boss&rsquo; office and the staff lunch area, though it looked like she must have gone for lunch with Mark. The big, grey wolf preferred to be called by his first name, though there were some in the company that insisted on speaking to him more formally. That would have made Eli feel weird, if he pushed against what someone else had asked of him in that manner.<br /><br />The staff lunch area was nice and bright, airy &ndash; but it wasn&rsquo;t big enough for the full staff to all take their lunch together, even though there was a small kitchen area too. The culture there was to go out for food or have it delivered, though there were a few that headed out to the nearby park to eat their lunch on the benches there too, if the weather was nice.<br /><br />But there was no sight of Mark and Farrah at all; even the wolf&rsquo;s office was dark. The door was closed and the blinds were down, though he wouldn&rsquo;t have ever entered without permission anyway &ndash; not even to look for Farrah. They couldn&rsquo;t be there, he was sure of it.<br /><br />&ldquo;Ah!&rdquo;<br /><br />He made a small sound, his mouth full of sandwich and his ears pricking up. The rounded edges of them turned lightly back and forth, catching the sound of Farrah&rsquo;s voice, light and musical, floating down the hallway.<br /><br />&ldquo;Thanks again for taking me out, Mark, that was so lovely of you&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />Her words trailed off as they moved down another hallway, though the panda caught a chuckling laugh from the wolf too. He had such a nice, deep voice that it could not fail to carry, as if he was a bass tone that carried the company in more ways than one.<br /><br />He didn&rsquo;t get the chance to speak to Farrah until later that day &ndash; mid-afternoon &ndash; and caught up with her in the kitchen where he was getting coffee.<br /><br />&ldquo;Oh! How&rsquo;s it going?&rdquo; Eli rushed in, his paws clasped together as he practically bounced &ndash; yet could not too much due to the heels on his hind paws. &ldquo; You don&rsquo;t have to get coffee, I&rsquo;ll sort that. I know just how Mark likes it. Is there anyone else I need to do one for?&rdquo;<br /><br />Quick and efficient, he took over the task that was absolutely in his job description, setting about brewing a fresh pot of coffee right away. It would take a moment, but they had a fancy machine there, which helped a lot.<br /><br />&ldquo;It&rsquo;s going so well, Eli,&rdquo; Farrah said warmly, tucking a strand of dark red hair back behind her ear. &ldquo; Thanks so much, love&hellip; But I&rsquo;ve got to get back too, Mark&rsquo;s expecting me. Bring these over to us in the office, won&rsquo;t you?&rdquo;<br /><br />His smile could not have gone any wider as he nodded quickly.<br /><br />&ldquo;Of course! You get back to work &ndash; I&rsquo;ve got this!&rdquo;<br /><br />She&rsquo;s so busy, there must be a lot for her to do on her first day too.<br /><br />He sympathised with her, but still took the extra few seconds needed to make sure Mark&rsquo;s coffee, along with Farrah&rsquo;s too, was brewed perfectly. Not too long and not too quickly either: it had to be just right. At least he had that kind of attention to detail and could make sure Mark was in as good a mood for Farrah as he could, at least from his particular role.<br /><br />She&rsquo;s right too, he thought, carrying the two coffees on a small tray back over to Mark&rsquo;s office, careful not to spill a drop. Mark was really nice to treat her to lunch. I&rsquo;m so glad they&rsquo;re getting along well!<br /><br />Things really could not have been going better &ndash; especially not as her laugh cut through the air was he approached Mark&rsquo;s office once more. That time, the lights were on and the door was cracked open. He appreciated that very much, considering how he was carrying the coffee on the tray and didn&rsquo;t quite think he had a free paw to open the door with otherwise.<br /><br />&ldquo;Knock-knock,&rdquo; he chirped breezily as he bumped the door open a little more with his shoulder and poked his head in, although remaining respectfully still on the other side of the threshold. &ldquo; Can I come in? Coffee delivery!&rdquo;<br /><br />Mark smiled warmly at him, though the wolf&rsquo;s eyes were quick to dart back to Farrah, who was perched on the corner of his desk. She had her paw on his arm and Eli&rsquo;s heart warmed.<br /><br />How lucky were they to be getting along so well so soon? He honestly couldn&rsquo;t have planned things any better if he&rsquo;d wanted to, tail lifting and wagging as Mark waved him in.<br /><br />Maybe the red panda should have thought a little more about why his boss and his girlfriend were as close with one another as that, though Eli just saw nothing wrong with it. It&rsquo;ll be great experience for you.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Of course!&rdquo; Farrah said with a smile, looking more relaxed around her muzzle (she tended to hold a little tension there). &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll be glad to come. Is that an overnight one, or was it the one a couple of hours drive away that you mentioned? I&rsquo;m sorry, I&rsquo;m getting mixed up.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Oh, it&rsquo;s the overnight one, though sometimes I stay an extra day to make the most of the sights and the city too,&rdquo; Mark confirmed, reaching across the husky for some paperwork. &ldquo;Anyway, next we should go over the details of the clients that may need to speak to me directly. You will need to triage them, in a way, so the lesser queries are dealt with or delegated appropriately, while anything high-stakes will come straight to me. That&rsquo;s something you&rsquo;ll get a feel for with a little time and training.&rdquo;<br /><br />Eli didn&rsquo;t feel like he needed to be there, so he nodded with a smile and slipped out slowly. Yet when the wolf withdrew his paw, with the paperwork tucked between his fingers, it looked like he&rsquo;d grazed the canine&rsquo;s breast with the back of his paw.<br /><br />Oof! He hoped neither of them had noticed that, or he had mistaken what he&rsquo;d seen. That would have been too awkward for both of them and he didn&rsquo;t want them to have to deal with it &ndash; and on Farrah&rsquo;s first day too! He would have been squirming with embarrassment if that or even something similar had happened to him!<br /><br />He paused outside the office, the tray pressed in against his chest so the flat of it smoothed against his silk blouse lightly. They seemed close, Farrah leaning in nearer Mark when she really could have seen from being a little further back.<br /><br />If he didn&rsquo;t know any better&hellip;the red panda would have said that the husky and the wolf were into each other. This is her job now and she&rsquo;s got to get on with Mark. <br /><br />After all, it was not as if there was anything actually wrong with what the husky was doing. He couldn&rsquo;t say that in the slightest. Yet the whole thing left him a little on edge as he kept an eye on them moving through the office in the afternoon, how Farrah walked a little closer to Mark than was necessary. The wolf even made her coffee for her and waved off the red panda when he tried to rush in and do at least that part of his job.<br /><br />There may not have been any malice in how Mark brushed him aside, though Eli still felt off-balance, as if something had shifted and the red panda could not quite be sure what. His tail flicked discontentedly as he sat back at his desk, trying to focus on some reports he was meant to be running. Even though he was typically diligent at his job, they just didn&rsquo;t seem to be important anymore. <br /><br />Farrah smiled easily at Mark, something warm building at her core, as if it was flickering up from her midsection, spreading heated fingers into every part of her body. Yet the husky didn&rsquo;t have to do anything about it, letting her new boss introduce her to some others in the office who she&rsquo;d be working with. Truth be told, the canine hoped she&rsquo;d be working more closely with Mark, for he had been more than good to her so far.<br /><br />&ldquo;And this is Farrah, my wonderful new secretary,&rdquo; Mark said, once they&rsquo;d set up in a conference room with one of the sales associates she would need to liaise with from time to time. &ldquo;Farrah has well and truly hit the ground running and is an asset to the company.&rdquo;<br /><br />She shivered and chuckled politely, though she was not uncomfortable at all with how the wolf lavished praise upon her. In fact&hellip;it felt like just what she needed. And she couldn&rsquo;t stop her eyes from roaming lightly over his broad shoulders, the definition of him showing faintly through his fitted shirt. Even when he was wearing his suit jacket, it was impossible to say that Mark was not physically fit. Even the squeeze of his paw on her arm, when he&rsquo;d been trying to steady and reassure her in a wavering moment, had felt strong.<br /><br />Still, she tried to push that from her mind.<br /><br />&ldquo;Oh, Mark, you&rsquo;re flattering me too much,&rdquo; she said in turn, though even the husky was aware of just how flirty that came out. &ldquo; But, yes, I will do my best here, as expected. Now, where are we beginning here?&rdquo;<br /><br />She moved the meeting on, where it was her position to make sure they didn&rsquo;t go over time too and that others didn&rsquo;t take up too much of her boss&rsquo; time. There were a lot of new aspects to her role there that she had to get used to, though Farrah was sure she was going to like being a secretary very much.<br /><br />Right at the end of the day, Eli collected his coat from the coat stand in the corner of the office, dallying while he wasn&rsquo;t sure if Farrah would need a ride home with him or now.<br /><br />I hope Mark isn&rsquo;t making her stay late? He thought as his tail drooped a bit. That wouldn&rsquo;t be great. I know it&rsquo;s her job, but she shouldn&rsquo;t have to work too hard.<br /><br />However, he was glad to find Farrah near the exit to the building, swiping out (fire and safety regulations) with her staff card. <br /><br />Mark leaned over her, his arm up against the wall, the grey wolf&rsquo;s eyes crinkled at the corners. Yet Eli would not have been amiss in the slightest to note a little ring of hunger in them.<br /><br />&ldquo;I think you&rsquo;re going to fit in just right here,&rdquo; Mark said easily, though Farrah looked small before him as the husky smiled less than demurely up at him. &ldquo; It&rsquo;s like you&rsquo;ve been here all along &ndash; or perhaps you&rsquo;re the missing piece we were looking for. The one I was looking for.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Well, I don&rsquo;t have any plans to leave in a hurry,&rdquo; she said, quick to reply with a slyer smile tugging coyly at her lips. &ldquo; With someone like you treating me this well, I might just want to stay a really long time.&rdquo;<br /><br />They could have been plain words, or even awkward words, yet a pleasant tension crackled through them. There was more there than what the wolf and the husky were saying.<br /><br />Eli caught his breath, hesitating for a moment. Should he interrupt them? Would that be rude? But Farrah noticed him and nodded to Mark, who smiled and took a step back.<br /><br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;ll let you get on,&rdquo; he said smoothly. &ldquo;I&rsquo;m sure you&rsquo;ve had quite a&hellip;tiring day, Farrah. I&rsquo;ll see you bright and early in the morning.&rdquo;<br /><br />Mark stepped around the husky &ndash; yet he moved in closer to her at the same time, which didn&rsquo;t make sense. Eli eyed him as his paw returned to his side. He didn&rsquo;t want to make a big deal about it, but it really had looked like he&rsquo;d brushed his paw, maybe just his fingers, across Farrah&rsquo;s butt as they had parted ways.<br /><br />Something hot stirred in the pit of his stomach, not like the nerves, and the red panda shook himself once more. That was something he very much had to push down: it most certainly wasn&rsquo;t the time or the place for arousal.<br /><br />Checking his clothes, he smiled and slipped into his coat, though left the front open. <br /><br />&ldquo;I hope you have a great first day, hun,&rdquo; he said, joining her as they walked back to the car, which he would drive so Farrah could rest. &ldquo; It really looked like you had a lot on your plate &ndash; I barely even saw you at all!&rdquo;<br /><br />Farrah smiled, the lights of the parking garage cast oddly over her face. If it had been in a film or something like that, someone may have thought that the lighting meant she was hiding a secret. Eli had got into hat kind of stuff for a little bit, though his interest had been passing. Yet the secretive glimmer in her eyes was not to be cast aside too quickly.<br /><br />&ldquo;Yes,&rdquo; she said, seeming faraway as she propped her chin on her paw and stared at the window, the car pulling away from the garage and heading for home. &ldquo;Mark kept me very busy.&rdquo;<br /><br />He didn&rsquo;t know if Farrah meant to put that much emphasis on the word, though the panda didn&rsquo;t pry.<br /><br />Thankfully, things went well for Farrah over the next few weeks, though there were a few more little situations that left the red panda questioning whether he needed to have his eyesight checked. He was so sure there was nothing going on between them (though the raunchy part of his mind said that would be hot), but he kept finding Farrah and Mark in&hellip;unusual situations.<br /><br />Sure, he tried to reason with himself. Farrah was a lot touchier with Mark than she was with most others, with whom she preferred to maintain her personal space. It was a good thing that she was that comfortable with her boss, even if that wasn&rsquo;t something he could have anticipated. <br /><br />Yet her sitting on his boss&rsquo; lap&hellip; That was a little outside the normal, especially for the office, even though Eli had ducked right back out of the office again with a muttered apology and closed the door. His cheeks seared red and he put his back to the wall, glad there wasn&rsquo;t anyone in the hallway outside Mark&rsquo;s office to catch him, though he swore he caught the wolf laughing behind him.<br /><br />It&rsquo;s so silly to be worried. You like that they&rsquo;re getting along, so why is your heart going like this?<br /><br />He ignored the heated rise under his skirt, his feminine underwear clinging a little uncomfortably to a part of his anatomy that Eli would rather have not thought about at that time. So, Eli brushed it all off and carried on with his day, even though his mind was elsewhere.<br /><br />When Farrah joined him for lunch that day, which she didn&rsquo;t do very often, he had everything ready for her, even down to her favourite drink, which he&rsquo;d had ordered in.<br /><br />&ldquo;You and Mark seem to be managing things so well,&rdquo; he said, happy to lavish praise on her. &ldquo; It would be horrible to have a boss you don&rsquo;t get on with.&rdquo;<br /><br />Farrah smiled. She was more relaxed those days, though often deep in thought. Eli wondered what she was thinking about, though hadn&rsquo;t yet found the courage to ask her. It was as if, to him, he was both afraid and excited by the notion of the answer that could come.<br /><br />&ldquo;Mark is wonderful,&rdquo; Farrah said, just as warmly. &ldquo; He&rsquo;s so kind and he always makes sure I have everything I need for work. I don&rsquo;t feel like I was dropped in the deep end here at all, I&rsquo;m so lucky.&rdquo;<br /><br />Eli nodded.<br /><br />&ldquo;It&rsquo;s a totally different environment,&rdquo; he said, sure he&rsquo;d got things wrong with seeing her sitting on Mark&rsquo;s lap after all. &ldquo; But we all try to work together here and Mark&rsquo;s just the same. That&rsquo;s why staff turnover is as low as it is.&rdquo;<br /><br />The light chatter between them made it just a little easier for him to put his concerns from his mind, though they remained rustling in the back of it: like papers he had to still file, reminding him they were still there. Eli, however, focused a little more on his work, though always kept a careful eye out for Farrah. It wasn&rsquo;t a bad thing, of course, to catch a glimpse of his partner moving through the office, enjoying even how she seemed more confident in her role and herself with every passing day.<br /><br />That was why it didn&rsquo;t seem strange at all to him when he caught the two of them coming out of Mark&rsquo;s office with Farrah pulling her blouse back into place, her skirt a little hitched up in an odd way. Mark was doing up a button, though there was a glint in the wolf&rsquo;s eye too. Eli wouldn&rsquo;t have seen anything if he hadn&rsquo;t happened to be passing by.<br /><br />&ldquo;Oh!&rdquo; He paused, ever-attentive. &ldquo;Did someone spill something? You look like you had a change of shirt, Mark &ndash; is there anything I can get for you?&rdquo;<br /><br />He smiled, always ready to help wherever needed, though he was right in saying that the wolf had been wearing a different shirt earlier that day. Farrah blushed heavily and took a half-step back, tucking a stray strand of hair back behind her twitching, pointed ear, while Mark smirked.<br /><br />&ldquo;No, no,&rdquo; he said, not offering much more than that. &ldquo;Everything&rsquo;s fine.&rdquo;<br /><br />Eli was not needed and, as if it was merely work and no more than that, he went on his way. Yet he couldn&rsquo;t help but wonder just what had been going on there.<br /><br />He was right, of course, when he said they were attracted to each other. It came out slowly over the next couple of weeks, the days slowly moving by as if Farrah had always been a part of the office. Mark was rarely seen without Farrah by his side, something brushing her paw with his as he showed her something on a document or even helping her tie a scarf around her neck.<br /><br />Eli cocked his head, watching them at the water cooling, how they laughed and leaned into one another as if they were being pushed together by outside forces. With how close they&rsquo;d been getting, even sitting with their legs brushing in meetings Eli had been asked to bring refreshments to, it only made sense for them to hug next. He could almost feel Farrah against him &ndash; but it was Mark drawing her into a brief but warm hug, right there in the open. <br /><br />She melted into his body as if she was made for him and, even then, Eli could not help but smile. Yet he felt like he was intruding, an unwanted voyeur, and looked away.<br /><br />The moment was not for him to intrude on, something warming inside him while uncertainty wavered.<br /><br />Farrah wore shorter skirts too, even shorter than Eli&rsquo;s, though Mark&rsquo;s eyes obviously dropped to her long, shapely legs. Eli couldn&rsquo;t help but feel pleased she was being noticed too &ndash; even if he was subtly sure his boss&rsquo; paw had been on her leg under the table when they&rsquo;d been sitting at his desk together too.<br /><br />How much of it was speculation? They wouldn&rsquo;t do anything, he was sure of it, but the simmering attraction bubbled up as he caught a whiff of Mark&rsquo;s aftershave on Farrah&rsquo;s clothes while he was doing their laundry.<br /><br />&ldquo;Hey, Eli?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Yeah?&rdquo;<br /><br />He padded through from the utility room, which was adjacent to the kitchen, as Farrah smiled at him. Sitting at the table, she had some work documents spread out, though didn&rsquo;t seem all that focused on them.<br /><br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;ve got to stay late for a couple of nights at work,&rdquo; she said, her tail lifting in a faint wag. &ldquo; It&rsquo;s to help Mark. Just wanted to let you know I didn&rsquo;t need you to drive me home for a couple of days.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Oh &ndash; okay!&rdquo;<br /><br />The words came out a little forced and she caught it that time. Her head tilted and Farrah leaned in a little, her attention entirely off her work.<br /><br />Eli&rsquo;s eyes roamed down the dining table in the kitchen, as if she had left the fancy box of chocolates out just for him to see. He could guess where they came from and he didn&rsquo;t know what to make of how the sight of them made his heart race.<br /><br />&ldquo;Farrah &hellip;&rdquo; He started slowly, though it was hard to work the words out of his mouth, like his tongue wanted to trap them being the brief barrier of his teeth. &ldquo; Is&hellip; Is Mark flirting with you? Are you okay? I mean&hellip; I don&rsquo;t want you to be in an uncomfortable situation, not at all! Not at work either, especially not at work&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />He stumbled over his words, unsure if he was being paranoid &ndash; for it all seemed so silly when he said it out loud. Farrah chuckled and leaned back in her chair, arms crossed and a twinkle in her eye.<br /><br />&ldquo;Why?&rdquo; She teased, a lighter note in her tone that gave away so much &ndash; and yet nothing at all. &ldquo;Maybe you like that&hellip; I&rsquo;ve seen you watching us too, darling. You like to see.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;What? No, I don&rsquo;t&hellip; I&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />Eli blushed and shook his head, though the red panda didn&rsquo;t really have an answer for her on that one. Sure, it was a turn-on, obviously, to see his partner getting all that attention&hellip; But they were still in a relationship!<br /><br />&ldquo;Has he touched you?&rdquo; Eli asked, though he didn&rsquo;t know what he wanted the answer to be. &ldquo;I mean&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Why?&rdquo; She probed again, eyebrows raised and a smirk on her lips. &ldquo; Are you wanting me to make you the cuck of the office?&rdquo;<br /><br />It was so blunt it took his breath away. And Eli didn&rsquo;t at all have an answer for her, stumbling over his words like he was a teenager all over again, tail hugged around his lower body.<br /><br />They didn&rsquo;t dig into it more that night, yet the implication hung in the air. There may have been something going on &ndash; and there may have been nothing going on. Yet Farrah had hit on exactly what had made Eli squirm, hesitation tangling with need.<br /><br />Three weeks to the day after Farrah&rsquo;s start date, he tried to keep an eye on her in the office, even following her around. A part of him wanted to see something and the rest of him wanted confirmation that nothing was going on, two parts in conflict with each other. Eventually, the husky had to stop him down a side hallway, one where a couple of disused offices lay, and give him a gentle kiss on the lips.<br /><br />&ldquo;I know you want this too,&rdquo; she said softly, though swiftly shushed the panda when he tried to question things. &ldquo; No, none of that. This is for me. Everything is okay and none of this is something you need to worry about.&rdquo;<br /><br />Her eyes met his and the panda took a breath. If Farrah said it was okay&hellip;he had to trust her. He had to believe her. He simply couldn&rsquo;t do anything else.<br /><br />That gave him permission, at the very least, to enjoy what was happening too. It didn&rsquo;t have to be so bad, he was sure, if Farrah was happy with it. It was new to him and he liked it, while they had spoken a little about cuckolding before&hellip; Maybe it was merely something he had to watch pan out. For it most certainly was not something Eli was to be involved with.<br /><br />Not yet, anyway. If ever. That was up to Farrah and Mark.<br /><br />Things are going well and&hellip;something might come of this, he thought, though he seemed to end up wrapped up in his own mind more and more recently, even if his work wasn&rsquo;t slipping. There she goes again &ndash; into his office down the hallway and closing the door. They&rsquo;ve even been lowering the blinds in there more. Mark never used to do that unless he was in a really important meeting.<br /><br />It seemed obvious and yet not at the same time. <br /><br />That was okay, however. Maybe he wasn&rsquo;t the kind of guy Mark was, who always seemed to have an uncanny knack for knowing exactly what someone needed.<br /><br />However, one thing Eli could not have anticipated, even though it had flitted through his mind on one or two occasions, was what he found when he knocked and walked into their office. He thought he heard Mark inviting him in &ndash; yet that had been a mistake.<br /><br />For he found them with Farrah sitting in Mark&rsquo;s lap, her thighs squeezing his legs, their lips locked. For a moment, they didn&rsquo;t move, even though they were caught in the act, and he sucked in a short, sharp gasp. The red panda&rsquo;s chest tightened and he took a shaky step back, instantly forgetting about the papers in his paws, which spilled to the floor in a fluttering wave.<br /><br />&ldquo;Uh&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />He looked at them, seeing in intimate detail how they slowly parted, a string of saliva faintly connecting their lips for a heartbeat of a moment. Farrah&rsquo;s lips even parted slightly, hinting at a moan.<br /><br />&ldquo;Ah &ndash; excuse me!&rdquo;<br /><br />He fled, leaving the papers, heat rushing to his groin. Yet he had to get away, swinging hastily around the corner and into the male bathroom as his shaft plumped up in keen need. He leaned against the wall, thankful that it was empty, chest rising and falling sharply in every puff of much-needed breath.<br /><br />Yet Eli couldn&rsquo;t deny the rise of his erection showing through his black skirt, betraying his deepest but perhaps not his darkest desires.<br /><br />Her new job had changed everything &ndash; for both of them.<br /><br /></span>",
