Her long tail flicked back and forth in that inherently feline fashion, as if there was always something on her mind, something she was trying to hunt down.\n\nHer shirt pushed down, revealing her blue-grey fur and a little of her heritage from a family of Russian blue cats – but anthros could be with whoever they liked those days, thankfully. It meant it was often a surprise how their offspring turned out, whether they took after the father or the mother or were a hybrid of both. Sometimes even surprising twists in their genetics popped up too – and that was without even looking at using a sperm bank and donor!\n\nHowever, the feline was quite happy right where she was, her dhole partner nuzzling up to her neck. Hai’s nose brushed into the crook of her neck and she purred happily, her chest rumbling under his cheek.\n\n“Mmm, I love when you’re like this…” He breathed, the wild dog pressing in closer. “Sweetheart… Do you know how beautiful you even are?”\n\n“Oh, stop it, you!”\n\nShe laughed and tried to push him off, though Emily didn’t really want him to stop. She loved how Hai brought a blush to her cheeks, even if it was mostly hidden under her fur. She just didn’t mesh with anyone else as well as she did with the dhole and he was her best friend in the whole world too.\n\nGoing out with him had been much needed. In the busy rush of life, she just didn’t feel they got to spend as much quality time together as they had before. They lived together, yes, but there was always something to do, someone to buy a gift for – oh, and that “thing” they forgot to get organised too! So, she was always wrapped up struggling and straining to keep up with seemingly everything in her life and the world all at once, perhaps even taking on more than Emily needed to.\n\nThat was okay, however: purely as Emily had Hai there to ground her. As he rolled on to his back under her, coaxing the feline up on top of his stomach, her blue-grey tail swished back and forth.\n\nEmily’s knee nudged between his legs and she grunted in the back of her throat, lightly. She wanted to be close to him, so very much so, and that delicious lick of heat inside her pooled at her core. They’d been out to see a show earlier too, on stage, and she should have been a lot more tired than she was, but all the cat could think about was her lover.\n\nShe purred more deeply as she stroked down his chest, tugging at the buttons on his shirt, playing with them. Yet his paws swept down her back, tracing the line of her spine, as they found a place to rest at the base of her back, right at the top of her glutes. \n\n“Ah… Darling,” she breathed, hardly daring to raise her voice anymore. “How do you make the smallest things feel so good? The feline pushed up, tail flicking, though her eyes smouldered as they locked on to Hai’s.\n\n“Maybe you’re very lucky, darling,” she said, sliding off him and half-turning, stretching to pull off her top over her head. “To have me… To be with me… Don’t you think so?”\n\nWhen she met his eyes again, there was a new sense of hunger there and he licked his lips, letting out a needy whimper as he gulped.
