glassed, using as means to help his team escape, and relink up with the MasterChief and the Pillar of Autumn, his teams Ai AL ended up becoming the Asheville's primary Ai, AL a 4th gen prototype Ai was ironically based off a clone copy of Alex's brain, and given to Green team for evaluation while AL didn't set limits to prevent him from not being able to work with any other Spartan, he had his fondness for Alex, and the quirks AL had showed it. The UNSC Shadow of Asheville was a modified Paris Class heavy frigate, featuring the newest experimental 3 stage reactors same as given to the Pillar of Autumn, a new fire control system for her single MAC gun also same as the Pillar of Autumn, new point defense guns as well as over hauls to her missile banks, As well as a Ship Size Spartan Laser something that had been in testing for a bit, a stealth coating was added to her hull something really odd for a ship of her type, as well as shields, the same type as used by the Spartan II's MJONLIR armor but on a much bigger scale, basically a Warship designed to sneak in behind covenant lines and do hit and run tactics to keep the covenant guessing were they'd be attacked from next, which something Alex and his team did to great affect during the last days of the war with the covenant. \nAlex walked onto the bridge and looked out view port \"so\" he said to AL \"what do we got?, anything coms wise from them yet?\" AL turned and looked to him \"no\" he said \"but from the looks of it, looks like someone has taken out their long range coms array in orbit.\" he continued. \n\"anything on the short ranges coms?\" Alex asked. \"yes and no\" AL replied, \"from the looks of it, it looks like their coms are being jammed by a local source military grade at that\" AL continued. \"So it seems one the local nations had a change of heart and basically said fuck you to everyone else?\" Alex said then sighed \"why am I not surprised by this, alright let's dock with their orbital elevator and head down to see how we can help out-\" just then Alex is thrown from his feet as the Asheville's port emergency thrusters activate shoving the ship out of the line of fire from a Bright Crimson Red warship, Alex stumbles to his feet rather annoyed \"A orbital navy, I would say i'm surprised but considering we left them a few old Slualt class light frigates for protection when they became indepenant from the UEG back in 2526 i'm not that surprised, though i'm surprised they have developed a chunk of their own and of that size, they're almost as big as Valiant class heavy cruiser, and that many as well?\" Alex said annoyance notable in his voice. \"permission to open fire Chief?\" AL asked Alex. \"no\" he replied \"lets try being diplomats first, then if they ignore us and fire again then we return the favor\" he added. \nAL opened a com channel with the lead unknown war ship.
