He felt a large plastic ring on his back tied to a string which seemed to enter behind his lungs. The demon disappeared, and the child was left, muted, trying to cry in fear as he ran home.\n\nHis parents discovered the silent child and took him to a doctor to try and help him. Unfortunately, the string could not be removed. But luckily they found he could speak still. Only when someone pulled the string. And he could not pull it on his own.\n\nAll grown up now, he still suffers from the curse. He has mastered sign language in several dialects, however.
