In the days that followed, at least three dozen humans and Kahu were summarily executed on the spot once they were found to be not who they were. \n\n\nScaaviin made it through the inquisition as did just over half of the cell she was assigned to and began gathering as much information as she could and transmitting it without raising suspicion of the platform's overseers. Weeks later, the overseers announced that the weapon was ready to be fired for the first time and the target for first firing was the heart of the human empire, the home star system Sol. \n\n\nWhen Scaaviin met with her cell leaders after the announcement, she was told that she and other Kahu and humans were to begin planting explosive devices and data worms in all critical systems and power conduits and to only detonate them if they are about to be caught. They were given allowance to kill anyone who could prevent them from completing their mission. When they had planted all of their explosive devices and data worms, they were to make their way to the shuttle bays before setting off the bombs and worms. \n\n\nScaaviin was just over halfway done planting her share of explosives and data worms when the room she was in rocked from a massive explosion from a different part of of the station. She immediately activated what worms and explosives she planted on a time delay so that she could get to her Master's shuttle and off the station with as many the shuttle can safely carry. By the time she got to the shuttle bay where her shuttle was parked, the station was under full alert and tight lock down as security and emergency personnel were responding to fires, panicked personnel and rounding up the Kahu and throwing them into retention bays. \n\n\nOnce she got to her shuttle, the bay rocked violently when a fuel cell exploded deep below decks. She was stopped by dock and station security as she was activating the shuttle's power systems and deactivating the onboard security systems. She paused briefly as the ship's security system deactivated before tossing a few stunners at the security personnel and jumping into the shuttle before they detonated. Once the outer doors of the shuttle were closed and secured, Scaaviin quickly jacked herself into the shuttles computer, strapped into the pilot's seat and kicked in the thrusters and blasted out of the docking bay and into space. Within minutes, the shuttle was up to escape velocity and powering up the FTL engines to get as far from the weapon's platform as possible before it exploded.\n\n\nJust as the shuttle was 2 light months out from the platform, it jumped and bucked as a blinding light lit up surrounding space as the weapons platform seemed to explode in a massive fireball as a red beam of light sped towards the heart of the Human empire, Sol. Scaaviin's shuttle was critically damaged from the blast and slowly leaking fuel and precious air. With no power to drive the shuttle, Scaaviin moved into the captain's cabin and closing the airlocks to the cabin and powering up the emergency nucleonic power supply and life support system.
