Interesting fact about the Terradynnian dragons is that they are named after minerals that are similar to the scale colors. The dragons are also long lived and shape shifters, shifting between anthro and feral. They are directly responsible for the destruction of nearly all of the unforged Sun Crystals on Terradyne, leaving anything made from the Star Crystals alone, including weapons (of which there is 12 Star Crystal blades known to exist, one of which is nigh inaccessible). Due to a dragon's lifespan, their population is around 100 individuals living on Terradyne and Demos.

Terradynnian dragons are the longest lived species on Terradyne. No one knows how long a dragon lives as no one really knows how long they live. Not even the species with the second longest lifespan knows a dragon's lifespan. Legend has it that a dragon can live for eons. The last known birth and death of a dragon was recorded nearly 40,000 years ago and no one knows where that dragon is nowadays.
When in his feral form, Cinnabar can usually be found sleeping in his cave saving his energy for when he goes hunting for food or defending his territory.
In his anthro form, he can be found wearing nothing at all when shopping for servants to tend to his domain and hoard. Once one becomes his servant, they remain his until their death (to ensure that his domain remains secret), whereupon their bodies are used for nourishment for his feral form.
The reason behind the idea of him devouring his servants bodies after they have died is to keep scavengers from his domain and alerting intruders (not to mention burying them would leave clues to where he resides), and as a way to have them serve him one last time. His servants are aware of what will happen to their bodies once they die, and are ok with it as they know they are his till then.
Cinnabar is a caring Master and does everything he can not to harm or mistreat his servants, and that anyone a dragon like Cinnabar chooses to be his or her servant, will consider that a great honor and privilege knowing that their family will be set for life.
And female dragons will only go into heat when one is about to die, leaving males unsatisfied most of their long lives. So males like Cinnabar will bed anyone with at least two holes that can be filled, and they will only bed their servants while they are in their anthro form.
