A few days later he found himself at the foot of the temple resting from his journey through the dark forest as he looked over the ruins for a way in. Once he was fully rested he began his search in earnest, walking around the temple, then climbing up it checking each level for a way in. It wasn't until late in the day that he finally found the entrance to the temple. He should have known that from his history lessons as a cub!! Figuring that it was too late in the day to start exploring the temple, he set up camp by the entrance for the night. The next day found him crawling though the corridors of the temple, exploring every hallway, room, nook and cranny. Despite the day being extremely hot, he was surprised that inside the temple it cool, bordering on cold. As he was exploring the temple, his ears kept twitching in every direction trying to discern where the occasional moan he was hearing was coming from. No matter how hard he tried, he could never find the source of those mysterious sounds.
A few hours later, he came across a strange, glowing chamber that was filled with cryptic hieroglyphics. Looking at the glyphs, he started to get excited when he realized that he knew some of what was written on the walls. He recognized the glyphs for pleasure, master, pet, eternity, life and freedom, but the rest should not be a problem as he was familiar with the culture. So intent in studying the glyphs, he never heard a faint pop as a shadowy figure suddenly appeared in the chamber behind him. The figure then raised a short tube to its muzzle and giving it a sharp, audible puff.
Ainoko jumped both in surprise at the sound and at the sharp sting where the dart hit him. Turning around, he caught a glimpse of the figure as it vanished as quickly as it appeared. He looked around the chamber trying to find out where the stranger disappeared to. Pulling the dart from his shoulder and looking at it, he noticed that it was dripping a thick, vicious, glowing green liquid from the tip that was in him.
Suddenly everything around him began to spin, slowly at first, then quickly turning into a blur, before everything went black. The next thing he knew, he was laying in a blindingly lit room, naked with only chains on his ankles, wrists and neck. Testing the chains, he found that they were very loose, but when he made any sudden moves, they became very stiff, almost hard to move. His investigations were interrupted when something clanged not too far from his body. Looking to his left, he saw his dirk, though in the light, it nearly blinded him from it's shine.
"^#@##@## $^@#% %*$&@ Slave. ^&@_# Master $#*(+@# %$^ %^#*&^$%@ his pleasure $%^," Said a strange melodic voice from around him.
"What are you saying!" He yelled at the unknown voice, "I can't understand you."
His ears perked up when the sounds of many voice began muttering to one another before stopping.
"We have not realized that the outside language has changed so much in the past 2000 years when the last soul came to us." The strange voice said again."You have one chance to free yourself, if you fail, you will become our Slave after Master has properly initiated you in the ways of carnal pleasure. If you are pure of heart, the chains will remain as they are, loose and you can use your weapon to free yourself. If not the chains will hinder your attempts, thus determining what your position as a slave will be with us. Be warned, if you fail, you will never see the sun again for all eternity. Only Master will allow you the chance to go outside if he is wanting new slaves. Mind you, that you are the first of many that have been and will be lured by the last batch of slaves we acquired. Your task to free yourself begins now."
Ainoko tried to sit up, and failed almost immediately. He discovered that the chains were holding him down with just enough force to keep him on his back. Relaxing a bit, he then slowly moved his left paw towards his dirk so as not to make the chains tighten up to prevent him form reaching the weapon. As soon as his fingers touched his dirk, his arm was yanked roughly over his head. Once again he tried, this time he used more force to make a grab for his weapon. As like the last time, the moment he laid fingers on it, his paw was yanked over his head. Time and time again, he tried in vain to get his weapon to free himself, failing each time. Ainoko felt his heart drop into a deep pit as he realized that he will no longer see the light of day for a long time, though he was sure that he would die here as he didn't have the ability to live for eternity, that pleasure was only granted to the gods themselves, not mortals like him.
"You have failed your task, you are not as pure of heart as you believe yourself to be. Though your heart is not wholly pure, it is pure enough to place you in favored slave status. Very few are granted such an honor, and fewer still get to be personally initiated by Master himself." Said one of the indistinct voices, "How you present yourself to Master will say a lot about you. Prepare yourself, Master is approaching your cell."
No sooner than the voices finished speaking, Ainoko felt a powerful presence enter his cell. Looking up, he felt all resolve melt away as he spied his deity, the one he swore his soul and life to. One look at his god and he knew then that the clerics were wrong about his visage. The god of pleasure and sex was not a fox, but a rather small rabbit. He whimpered submissively as the being approached him a paw held out for him.
It was then he knew that he was not going to miss the sun for a long, long time as he reached out to his deity, submitting to him, mind, body and soul.
