He watched as the badger began going through the slaver's clothing removing anything of value before turning and his way towards his savior. He had thought that the one who dove in to save his hide was going to be dispatched next by the badger. He quickly grabbed a dagger and dived between the badger and the strange fur to protect him.
"You aren't going to kill him like the others," He snarled at the badger, "He saved me from them, and I won't allow that to happen."
"I know that." The badger said softly as he continued making his way towards both of the boys. "I have to take him to his room so that he can recover from his injuries. The slavers really did a number on him, and he is going to need to stay in bed for the next week. And just to let you know, that room will be yours as well. While you are at it, go and choose a blade for him as well since you both need to learn how to protect yourselves and your future Master or Mistress."
He stood back as he watched the badger carefully pick up his savior before calling for some people to come and dispose of the bodies. He then followed the badger to a small room where the black furred male was laid onto a rather large bed.
