The warm sand filled wind swept over the arid desert landscape just outside the stone walls of the city. Excited furs came and went in the marketplace just below the castle walls visible through the high windows. “Stop! Thief!” came the shout of a shop owner as a thin teenaged male rat weaved through the large crowd holding a small gold ring in his hand.
One of the castle’s guards; a tiger watched the commotion from above and shook his head at the spectacle of the guards on the street chasing the youth. It looked like he was going to get away again. “I’d hate to be in their shoes.” he thought before his attention turned to the closed door next to him in the hallway. He could hear distinctive sounds coming from the other side. Rhythmic grunts from two different voices entwined in passion passed through the door lightly and into the hall. Curious he placed an ear to the door, but could only hear the panted breaths of those making the noise a little clearer. A light blush lit his cheeks up as thoughts of what was going on on the other side of the door passed through his head. There were only two people in the room, both males. What were they doing that could lead to such labored sounds? The guard pressed a little harder against the door and opened it just a crack. He had to have a peek.
Two males stood facing each other in the mid sized room. They were mere feet apart, and both breathing a bit heavily. One was an oddly colored snow leopard, the other a Cheolf; a cheetah and wolf hybrid. The snow leopard had pale pink and white fur with dark pink snow leopard spots and a head of orange hair; The hybrid silver hair with a pink braid falling down the left side of his face next to a normal cheetah facial marking, and mostly black fur that was specked with red down to a red ring on his tail. Their chests rose and fell in tandem; showing their muscles well. The snow leopard wore a pair of pants. The Cheolf only wore a short loincloth that barely covered his sheath. Testament to his position as a slave; he was only allowed to wear what his master allowed, and that usually wasn’t much. The pair took a step toward each other before swinging their arms toward the other. Fluid steps followed as the pair danced around each other without breaking eye contact. After a minute more the pair swung to face the same direction and knelt to bow toward the wall.
Entranced by their movements, the guard was unaware of the sound of footsteps approaching him from the far end of the hall. The near silence was broken as the figure stood behind the guard and cleared his throat expectantly. The tiger jumped in surprise and turned to face the owner of the voice that startled him. Standing there was a rabbit. He was short, barely reaching 4 feet tall and had the fur coloring of a fox. He wore fancy robes befitting of a noble and the countenance of one as well as he looked down his nose at the tiger even though he was looking up at the taller fur.
“Mr. Hunnydhew. I apologize for my actions.” said the feline quickly in response.
“Careful. This is how the previous guard lost his position and was demoted to a mere street guard.” said the lapine seriously.
“I understand sir. It won’t happen again.” said the tiger in response quickly.
“Good. Now I would like to enter the room.” said the noble next; cuing the other male to scramble to open the door for him quickly. The rabbit said no more as he entered the room next. The tiger sighed as he closed the door behind him.
The opening of the door caught the attention of both male dancers as they turned to see the rabbit approaching them now. “So how is my slave faring Mr. Accelo?” asked the noble mid stride.
“He is faring quite well I must say. Ainoko has got the coordination and skill to rival even some of the best dancers in the region.” said the snow leopard in response.
“I would hope so. I paid a lot of money to acquire him. Will he be ready for the banquet tomorrow night?” asked the bunny next.
“Yes. The sultan’s banquet will be alight with excited talk once we take the stage.” replied Accelo.
Ainoko thought of that and a slight swell of pride entered his head. Here he was being spoken of so highly by none other than the highest ranked dancer in the royal court. The fact that he was to join him in a tandem dance before the sultan himself was nothing short of amazing. A sharp swat to the Cheolf’s chest brought his thoughts back to reality as he looked down to see the disapproving gaze of his master on him now.
“Watch how much praise you give him Accelo. It’ll go to his head.” said Hunnydhew sternly.
“Of course sir. We wouldn’t want that. Now as tomorrow is a very special night I have a surprise for both of you.” said the snow leopard next.
“A surprise?” asked the bunny now curious.
“Yes. As you know I put on many performances. The outfits I wear for those performances vary in style and show off the finest skills in the land. I would like Ainoko to wear one of those outfits during our dance.” said the dancer turning to retrieve a small chest hidden to the side. He opened it and revealed a pair of small outfits that even on first glance could easily be seen as high quality silk. “Here Ainoko. Put on the blue one and we’ll see how it fits you.” said Accelo as he picked up a piece of the other.
A moment later and both males stood in the new outfits. Accelo’s outfit was little more than a top, and a decorative belt and arm and thigh bands. Ainoko’s outfit was a little more modest, but not by much; a top, gloves, and a blue decorative belt above a small loincloth. There was still one other piece in the chest. One that took him by surprise.
“What is that chain for?” asked Mr. Hunnydhew curiously, seeing the metal piece.
“That piece actually will be the basis of our tandem dance. We’re not to get more than a few feet apart from one another at any time, or else things will get quite unpleasant if you catch my drift.” said the snow leopard with a wink as he slipped the purple ring at the end of the chain around his semi hard shaft. Ainoko swallowed a little hard at that thought. “You’re not having second thoughts are you?” asked Accelo seeing this as he gave himself a few strokes.
“N-No sir.” replied the Cheolf.
“Good. Because you don’t have a choice anyway. Now prepare yourself. I want to see this dance for myself. We’ll call this a dress rehearsal.” said the rabbit Master as he held up the blue ring at the other end of the chain.
Ainoko sighed and resigned himself to the idea. “Yes Master.” he said as he reached for his shaft. To his surprise it was already semi hard. He may have been more eager to try this than he initially thought.

Looks like both Ainoko and Accelo are going over their routine one last time or just acting silly before performing for their Master's and and guests. They know that they will be rewarded handsomely after everyone has left for the night should they perform perfectly. Which for them should not be a problem.
