She didn't know what type of plant would sprout as the nursery worker that gave it to her would not say. The woman simply said that something “special” would grow if she planted it. The only other instructions she was given were to keep the soil moist, water daily, and transplant to larger pots or planter boxes as needed. Aeylin wiped the sweat from her brow as she admired the effort she put into her garden today. “I can't wait to see what you grow into, you mystery bulb”.\n\n** ** ** ** **\n\nBarely two days passed before Aeylin noticed that a sprout that resembled a thin bamboo shoot had pierced the surface. Her excitement increased over the next few days as each showed more growth then the previous. With in a week of planting, small vines grew out from the center stem, where a pale white bud was now forming. \n\n** ** ** ** **\n\nThe bud and stem continued to grow as the vines became thicker and longer each day. The petals of the now blooming flower gradually turned from a light purple, to a deep violet as if it knew Aeylin would like that color more. It wasn't long before it released a sweet scent that made her feel warm and a bit light headed when its aroma filled her nostrils. \n\nIt became a daily ritual for the mare to water the flower and take a deep breath for its euphoric feeling. It would soon be too big for the starter pot it was in. She knew she would have to transplant it soon as she lifted the vines and leaves to see how much surface soil it took up. It might have been because she was feeling light headed, but she swore that one of the vines moved against her light tan fur.\n\n** ** ** ** **\n\nAeylin brought out the biggest planting box she could find. It was a large three by three by three foot cube. If her new flower out grew this, she did not know what she would do.
