Unnamed Tale by RADAK Gloom and Adamina Trephine The Arrival It was the middle of the morning on the little rock called the Blue Galaxy. In a deep forest a Galaxian Husky Shape-shifter sat in his hooded clock meditating on a cut off stump of one of the indigenous trees of the planet. While sitting the husky softly chanted an incantation as blue runes circle him, as the blue rings on his arms and thighs glow to emit a blue particle-like haze over the rings as if a hologram. The runes lay themselves onto the ground around him as a bright light hung over head. As he uttered the last word a blue ring faded from his forearm and started to float in front of him opening and shows a image of another world, his eyes open and the colors of red and purple swirl as he looks on, observing the creature before him in the image. Adamina, an Ocelot Human Hybrid, walked into her bedroom, throwing her heavy satchel of college books onto her bed, she plops down next to it. She stretches her big cat paws and laid back on the bed. Her paws now behind her head, she stares up at her ceiling, as almost to day dream. She sighs and quickly snaps out of her day dream-like state to open her book bag and take out the textbooks that had now left her shoulders aching. As she turned a page of her Intro to Networking textbook, she began to feel light-headed and decides to step to her window to open it, getting a breath of fresh air. As she steps out onto her balcony her blue Mohawk, which was let down even before she got into her apartment, blows wildly in the wind. Her green eyes start to fixate onto something in the sky and as she looks up from the thirteenth story window of her apartment a shimmering mirage type of abnormally starts to appear. She can't help but to stare off into this matrix-like obstruction that now blocking her view. The Galaxian Mage now clearly could see what species and gender the creature was that he was observing. Once a moment had passed he put out a paw with the palm up letting a shard of ice form in the shape of a triangle and pushed it through the rift before him to the other world and watched it as the shard slowly moved across the sky In a straight line towards the window of the ocelot girl. "Soon" he whispered to himself in a calm deep voice as he closed his eyes awaiting the next action in the preplanned chain of events. Adamina watched this object carefully as it seemed to come closer and closer till finally it was right before her eyes. Adamina, stunned but also curious, stammers closer to the object, peering at it like it was a weapon of mass destruction but her curiosity gets the better of her and she reaches a paw out to the now glowing "thing" that was before her. He had sensed the energy of the girl close to the shard and he opened his now widened eyes, a blue glow radiated from them as the runes swirl around him quickly almost as if a whirlwind were blowing. All at once it disappears from sight and the Mirage starts to go black. The Cloaked Mage vanishes, being transported to the spot were the crystal was touched, an almost explosion-like blue colored energy wave expands out from around the Galaxian as he now floats in front of the girl. His demonic wings that seem to come from small black holes on each shoulder blade, spread out to keep him from falling to a gruesome death below. His face was partially covered by the hood but he could still sense the one who had allowed his arrival. Adamina stumbles back from the immense amount of energy being cast by this hooded figure, letting out a shriek. She peers up in wonder then a look of assurance spreads across her face, she should be frightened but yet, she is not. She stands up and tries to studder out a few words in hopes to maybe make peace with the being that hovered just outside of her balcony. "H-hello?" She muttered as she lightly takes a step, trying to De-mask the entity. The hooded husky quickly held up his paw letting the blue band on his arm glow letting another ice crystal form. He stepped onto the balcony and immediately his wings faded away in a cloud of black smoke. He hit the ground with a soft thud as his long tail coiled around itself as if on its own accord. "You have summoned me" he hypnotically spoke. Adamina stepped back in confusion, wondering if her actions meant for this entity to enter her domain. She replies, "I have summoned no one, you must be mistaken!" As she looks the figure up and down she mutters to herself, "Curiosity killed the cat Ada." She sighed unconsciously to herself. The husky tilted his head and gave a soft "Hmm" as the crystal glowed more intensely. His chained up Gothic style cloak suddenly started to almost "melt" off of his body, moving it's way into the crystal. Now visible to her, he was a purple husky clothed in a red and black self woven scarf and chain clad knee length shorts that were in kinda similar style to his cloak that melted away previously. His frame was a hourglass feminine shape, his hips were only slightly wider then his shoulders, giving him a slender build. "I would not be here if that were the case Adamina" he said in confidence. As he heard her words that lay under her breath, his ears flickered in response. She stiffened and her hair on her back came to a point, razor-ed. Her tail now fluffed up to twice its' size. "Who are you?" She backs up further from the creature. A low growl starts to overcome her heavy breathing as she notices his clear reaction to the voice that was in her own head. She cautiously looked at the figure awaiting a response. The Husky puts the crystal into a leather pouch that is attached to his hip and clears his throat taking a bow. "I am sorry, my name is RADAK, I have come from a far place called the Blue Galaxy." The purple furred mage says in the same toned voice he once had. He looked the cat girl over a few times before tilting his head and saying, "you are quite the curious one." Adamina looks at him still cautious but nods. "I guess it is in my nature to be curious." She looked around a little more relaxed then before. Hoping that she is maybe dreaming, that she had possibly passed out from exhaustion from the first round of exams she has just came back from. "Should I offer you something to drink or what? I don't know your customs." She signs to the newly alienated being to sit down on the only thing she had, her bed. "Please, if you'd like, sit down." Still confused she tried to be as respectful as she could, still not knowing the creature's true intentions. RADAK nodded politely and walked slowly in a stride before gently sitting down and crossing his legs. His tail snaked around to his lap as he stroked it idly, he looked at the cat curious to know more about her and he says "tell me where I am." She now sat beside of him but far out of his reach. "You are in Florida?" She says questioningly not sure to what extent he means to ask. She looked at his enormous tail and then to his face, trying to see who or really, what he really was. RADAK sat pondering for a moment then he questioned her further. "What planet are we on?" He looks towards her still keeping very still other than moving his head to look at her and the furniture, pictures on the walls, and items loosely spread on the bed as his tail seemed to continue to grow. "Earth." She replied quickly, sinking into her bed, the reality of her situation was finally hitting her. "I am truly going insane from the work load of school." She thought. As she got up from the bed and walked to the fridge to pour herself a shot of Jameson she turns to look at him. "Anything to drink?" she asks and before he could say anything she downs the shot and pours another one for herself. RADAK thought to himself for a moment, wondering if she would even have a drink that he would like, he decided he might as well try what she is having and pulls out a flagon from his waist and hands it to her. "I would like to try whatever you are having" he said with a curious tone. Adamina nods and takes the pitcher from him and fills it full of the chilled whiskey. "Careful, hot", were the words she could only think of as a warning. She sat next to him and gave his "shot" and smiles thinking that it was going pretty well for having such a weird stranger on her bed, she chuckled to herself. RADAKS' ears perked slightly at the sudden change in mood. Taking the glass from her, it quickly chilled the already frosted glass. He would take a sniff of it, his tail twitching a little before taking a sip. Then as quickly as he had gotten the shot of whiskey from her, it was gone. He places the glass down in satisfaction and she says "thank you," his thirst now quenched. Adamina let out a loud burst of laughter then shook her head. "If I had known you liked whiskey so much, I would have offered it sooner."She looks at him for another moment. "Why are you here, what is going on?" She questioned him but then wondered to herself if this was actually reality, as she starts to feel the warmth of the whiskey creeping up from her feet now reaching her chest. "I am what you would call a collector and an explorer. I have come to find rare minerals and to observe this world of yours" he explained looking at her again now more intently this time, memorizing her features. Adamina nodded as if she truly understood. "Ahh, okay." She had allowed herself to gaze upon his face, staring so curiously she leaned towards him. As he watched the cat girl he noted her motions and wondered if she would like to follow him through his explorations, he questioned if she was in control of her curiosity. Adamina leaned back, looking at the man then smiles kind of sweetly to him. She then quickly stands up. "Well, I have finals tomorrow and I really do need to get some sleep. I would ask you for your phone number so we could continue this nice little chat but I doubt you have a cell phone." She chuckled lightly hoping that the man would get the hint as she stood by the open window looking at him expectantly. "Maybe I can sleep off this drunkenness and everything will be the same tomorrow, maybe, just maybe this is just a crazy dream, this can't e real, can it? Anyways, I need to make an effort to sleep, for some reason I feel even more tired then when I came home." She thought to herself, keeping any unwanted thoughts out of her supposed "open" mind from the stranger. He nodded in understanding, opening a rift next to the balcony. and as he stepped out into the shimmering portal he pulled out a bone-shaped gemstone then handed it to the girl. "I will be in touch." He then proceeded to look over his shoulder as he vanishes from the room before it closes with a zap. Adamina watched the Mage disappear and she closed her windows abruptly to stare at the item she was just given. "This has to be a dream." She shoves the bone gem into her nightstands' drawer and jumps into bed slightly giggling to herself. "I must be dreaming, hah!" She shook her head and buried it into her pillow and proceeds to fall into a deep slumber...
