His scales are a blue color, but due to his mix, the scales reflect light a faint orange hue. He does have a circular patch of red scales covering his left eye. Not many knows his full colors as he wears a custom made cloak that covers his entire body, but the side have been left open so he can use his arms and hands.\n\t\"So what do we know about where we're going,\" asked AJ, turning to the voice who answered him.\n\t\"Not too much,\" was the answer. The owner of that voice is another dragon anthro, his scales are dark grey with light grey splotches scattered all around.\n\t\"That's not much help, Tai,\" said AJ.\n\t\"All that we really know is this,\" started the dragon, Tai. \"It's a series of islands that was once known as the Philippines.\"\n\t\"I've seen these islands on the old maps,\" said AJ. \"But why are we going to them now? And it is also where the ancient human capital is located.\"\n\t\"Anything else,\" asked AJ, handing Tai the manifest scroll.\n\t\"Unfortunately, no,\" said Tai, taking the scroll. \"Your father only heard the rumors from our regular traders, and they heard it from rumors in Hainan.\"\n\t\"So we're going in blind,\" AJ sighed. \"No idea about what they have, and what they need, but the only good thing is, we might be able to search the ruins for relics.\"\n\t\"Correct,\" said Tai, but before he could say anything else, a shout came from the crow's nest.\n\t\"Captain, fog ahead.\"\n\tBoth Tai and AJ looked towards the bow of the ship and they could barely make out a cloud bank. AJ walked back to the stern to find the captain. The captain, a large St. Bernard canine anthro, was standing by the wheel looking through a spyglass telescope.\n\t\"Captain,\" said AJ.\n\t\"My lord,\" said the captain, handing AJ the telescope.\n\t\"It looks like a very thick patch of fog,\" said the captain, as AJ looked through the telescope.\n\t\"Could we sail around it,\" asked AJ, looking back at the captain.\n\t\"Not advisable,\" answered captain. \"The sea can get very rough if we travel too far east. And while we still are within sight of homeland, it's safer to stay on course and go through the fog. We'll have to start the steam engines as we'll most likely lose any wind we have now.\"\n\t\"Hmmm...,\" thought AJ. \"Very well, I trust your decision on this.\"\n\tAJ returned the telescope to the captain and returned to Tai. \"Captain has decided to go through that fog.\"\n\t\"Do you think that is wise,\" asked Tai.\n\t\"No, but I trust that the captain knows what he is doing,\" answered AJ. \"Anyway, he's going to have the engines brought online, let's head down and check on everybody.\"\n\t\"Very well,\" said Tai.\n\tBoth dragons walked below deck and checked on both ship and crew. Though while the fog seemed far away at first sight, it was only an hour before they sailed into the fog. Both Tai and AJ climbed back up on deck, and could barely see ten feet in front of them.\n\t\"Never seen fog this think before,\" said Tai.\n\t\"Neither have I,\" said AJ. He then closed his eyes, and took a few deep breaths. AJ then opened his eyes and looked around, \"Well, I can still 'see' everybody, and they're just standing around.\"\n\t\"They're cautious,\" stated Tai. \"They don't want to get into an accident.\"\n\tIn the brief moment of silence, the only noise was the sounds of the steam engines' exhaust, the turning of the two paddle wheels and the water splashing off the keel and from the paddles hitting the water.\n\t\"This is too eerie,\" said AJ. \"Feels like there's something else in this fog.\"\n\t\"Agreed,\" said Tai.\n\tAJ turned towards the stern and 'saw' the captain was still next to the helmsman. \"I'm going to chat a bit with the captain.\"\n\t\"Eh, go ahead,\" said Tai. \"I'm just going to go back down and stay there until we leave the fog.\"\n\t\"Very well,\" said AJ.
